This place was exceptional - much nicer than the pictures! Warm, cozy, and the breakfast was very nice. On top of that, the hosts were very accommodating and went above and beyond to resolve our complicated situation (more guests, some of us sick). We loved this little place and will happily stay here again the next time we are are here for a big family gathering.

What a beautiful B&B! The home is quite large with many common areas for guests to use/share, with extra amenities and personal touches that were lovely. Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Additionally, the outdoor spaces make it even better with the fire pit and pond.

I didn’t know the bathroom is shared with another room/other guests until I checked-in, making it very uncomfortable for me to use once they arrived (solo female traveller in her mid 20’s).

Beautiful house, comfortable beds very clean and the owners were lovely. I was especially impressed by the large beautiful bathroom. We were served a beautiful hearty breakfast in the solarium and the presentation was spectacular. I highly recommend this place and would def stay there again if I find myself back in the area. Thank you for your hospitality Janet and Trevor and for driving us back and forth to the wedding we were attending.

The hosts were very nice, both in person and over the phone. They were very helpful, answered all my questions and provided an exceptional service. The professionalism, cleaningness and overall home-y feeling of the house made it a fantastic stay for me and for my partner. We will definitely come back. 10/10.

This was an all round wonderful experience and incredible value for money. The proprietors are two of the most generous, kindhearted, professional and caring I have come across. The house is immaculate with a lovely atmosphere. The room was beautiful, elegant and regal and the grounds also very calming and serene. I felt very peaceful even after only one night. Breakfast was first class!I will be staying here again!

The location at the lake with its little pavilion is highly romantic. We haven't met Trevor but Janet is one of the nicest hosts I ever met. The breakfast she prepared was superb. Homemade jam and zucchini bread, freshly cut fruit, croissants etc. Everything in the rooms was well considered. Everything you might need was there! The beds were very comfy!!

Loved the room especially the huge bathroom- that is beautiful. You have decorated the home to be very classy but comfortable. Exactly what I look for in a B&B. The breakfast was perfect! Loved the quiche while we sat in the sun room. Wish I had more time to stay and explore your beautiful property. THanks again

A wonderful stay, in every respect. Lovely room, really comfortable bed and Janet and Trevor have really considered what you need as a guest. We had our own area for breakfast and for just relaxing. The breakfast was amazing and we loved all the home baked goods and jams. Highly recommend Tailwinds and thank our hosts for being so accommodating.

Excellent stay! Janet and Trevor were excellent hosts during our short stay for a wedding that was close by. Janet was incredibly accommodating as we had to check in early due to wedding plans. Trevor also shuttled us back from the wedding and again in the morning to retrieve our vehicle from the venue. The food was delicious and their place was beautiful. My only wish was that we could have stayed longer :)

My three night stay at Tailwinds was awesome. The location was surrounded by nature, seeped in small town history and so quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed the 10 minute walk to town centre and hiking down the Elora Cataract Trail which was just steps away. The stay was elevated by the superb breakfasts each morning and the welcoming warmth of the hosts. Thank you, Janet and Trevor.
