Rooms are equipped with everything you could need, including all toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc.) and hairdryer, ironing board and iron. There is also free use of washing machines and dryer (on ground floor) and a laundry basket is provided in the room. The fridge is a really decent size.

The coffee is awful. I have been before, so bought my own coffee to use in the drip machine in my room, as the stuff provided is not very strong. But the coffee in the dining room is even worse! This is not just in this hotel though, I found you have to hunt around to find a decent coffee anywhere outside of the big cities, maybe I'm just spoilt living in Europe.

Not a huge deal but the suite I'd rented was not available, I was however granted two rooms for the same price as the original quote. The rooms were very well appointed and breakfast in the morning was very good. Did not use any of the hotel's other facilities.

Regarding the two rooms provided in place of the suite the following morning I was surprised to see my VISA charged more than my quoted rate. On checking with the guest services it was explained a $100.00 deposit had been applied to both rooms. I would've appreciated being explained this during check-in. Lastly the soaps provided do not wash off easily and seem to have left a residue on the bathtub making it quite slippery and extremely difficult to clean off of one's glasses.

Spacious room, comfy bed, having breakfast included was a great bonus. Nice and quiet - no traffic noise. Lovely outdoor area to relax in.

We stayed for 10 nights and didn’t get a full room clean, possibly we were supposed to organise this at the front desk. Towels were replaced each day however. On-site laundry was great, but unfortunately several washing machines were out of order so had to wait for a machine to become available.

Check-in and -out went very smoothly Tasty breakfast with lots of options Comfortable mattress Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion available and conveniently placed Kitchenette well supplied with toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher (one dishwashing tablet provided), dish soap (in case you don't fill up the dishwasher), pots and pans, silverware, and dishes.

I would prefer an extra-firm pillow option Waffle maker was out-of-order Gym and other amenities were kind of hard to find

As always, the basic infrastructure and staff of the facility were superb. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Guelph, either when I visit on my own, or is the case most often, as a member of a large family group. There is one thing that I think requires urgent attention , so I mention it below.

As an older woman with a bad hip, I find the toilets very low to the ground, and perhaps future renovations could take that fact into account. More serious is the fact that the actual toilet seats are unstable - or were in at least my room and that of at least one other member of our "clan" which occupied several rooms. Those should be dealt with before someone gets hurt. There were other small concerns a - eg. the corridor carpets weren't as clean as they used to be, BUT that is clearly a pandemic issue and that you have been able to preserve the essential quality of the hotel during such challenging times is something to be appreciated!

Front Desk service was friendly and helpful Housekeeping staff were very accommodating - I asked for an extra blanket from a housekeeper working on the room across the hall and a few minutes later she arrived with the blanket Kitchen in room is clean and well equipped for a short stay

Hot tub in first room had 3 jets that did not function (Rm 111). We were moved to another room Breakfast - selection was good but waffle machine was broken so messy to use, No bacon either morning or on our last weekend stay. No orange juice if you arrived 1/2 way through breakfast hours. Decaf empty and not refilled. Carpet in room was very dusty - I took of my shoes and by the time I found my slippers to put on the bottom of my socks were covered in a white powder. Wondering how rooms are cleaned with so many 4-legged guests (I say 7 different dogs this weekend) Room is not re-freshed daily - that is one of the things I appreciate when staying in a hotel - I dont need to make my own bed!

This was my first stay at a Staybridge Suite. I was impressed with the layout of the room. The desk area is separate near the kitchen (which I didn't use) and wraps around to the bedroom and bathroom area. It was perfect and very comfortable.

My room was adjacent to the elevator so there was some noise, but nothing too bad. The noise stopped around bedtime and wasn't an issue. I can't think of anything negative.

Nice clean room, full fridge and dishwasher.

Jacuzzi was only big enough for 1 person and was installed in the wrong direction. The relaxing lounge end had no sightline to the tv. If you leaned back against the pointy metal drain you could see the tv perfectly. Why I wonder. Why a 1 person jacuzzi in a room with a bathtub already?

The staff were amazing. From the front desk to the room attendants. I arrived well into the evening and the man at the desk, I forgot his name, I'm sorry, got me some food that was on the buffet earlier. Also, I had to make a change to my length of stay and he was so helpful.

Bed was not that comfortable

Front desk staff was excellent. We arrived late at night and he was expecting us. Very friendly and helpful. Very clean and attractive hotel and room. I liked the little kitchen.

Traffic noise outside our window was a bit loud.
