We had a recent stop over at the Alt Hotel, Toronto Airport while in transit from our home in Europe to the USA. The Alt is located convenient to the airport rail system, the facilities are modern and the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are very competent, friendly and attentive responding swiftly to our multiple emails and messages. They were extremely helpful and flexible as we navigated a difficult return trip from the USA with our flights delayed and cancelled due to extreme weather conditions. When we eventually arrived back at the Alt we were able to enjoy an amazing pizza and salad at the Sosta Pizzeria before continuing on our journey home. We are looking forward to our next visit to the Alt Hotel at Toronto Airport.

We recently had a memorable stay at Alt Hotel with our beloved dog, Bruce. The entire staff treated us exceptionally well, and we would like to give a special shout-out to Jose and the Spanish-speaking lady who made our experience even more enjoyable. They served our lunch promptly, allowing us to enjoy a quick and delicious meal together with Bruce. The room provided us with a comfortable and pet-friendly environment. It was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed to cater to our furry companion's needs. Bruce felt right at home, and we appreciated the designated area provided for us to enjoy meals alongside him. The hotel's dining experience exceeded our expectations. The restaurant offered delicious pizzas that left us wanting more, and the breakfast was delicious as well. We were impressed by the quality of the food and the wide variety of options available. Additionally, the hotel's convenient location made our travel experience hassle-free. It was easily accessible from terminals 1 and 3 at the airport, allowing us to reach the hotel quickly and enjoy more time during our stay. Overall, our stay at Alt Hotel was outstanding. The exceptional service, pet-friendly accommodations, delightful dining options, and convenient location made it a truly remarkable experience. We highly recommend Alt to anyone that need to stay a day or two neat the airport with their furry friends.

I have given only the highest score here because the stay here did not happen, however from people I met who has stayed here, plus from other reviews Alt Hotel is really good for an an Airport Hotel really conveniently close with ease to get to and from at Pearson Airport. What I did like too that did happen, the hotel manager understood the circumstances of why I had no choice due to travel, of bad weather stopping all flights, getting me to Toronto. Alt Hotel simply without a fuss canceled my stay with no charge. That was great, and all down to myself communicating with them to give heads up. This is why I give the full high rating. I will return in the future to stay here.

It was just unfortunate the stay here didnt happen, but that's traveling.

We stayed here for an unplanned night in Toronto due to a canceled flight. We were in the hotel more or less for 12 hours, most of those sleeping. The location for an early flight the next day is great! There is a stop (Viscount Station) for Terminal Link (Toronto Pearson Airport) a few steps outside of the hotel. We rode it for free at 4 am. Loved that the room had a coffee machine in it for coffee before that early flight. My partner had dinner at their restaurant and really enjoyed it too!

Our room had glass between the shower and the bedroom, which is not great if one person goes to the bathroom a lot during the night

Great location as it's linked to Pearson Terminals 1 and 3 by a monorail, which also provides seamless transfer to the UP Express train. It's also linked to the Viscount parking garage. ALT had a nice modern, clean feel, it was surprisingly quiet, bed was really comfy, and the staff were friendly. Rates were similar to all other 'close to Pearson' hotels but they don't have the monorail link. Perfect for my late Pearson arrival and then three days later, early morning departure. I would definitely stay again.

The only thing would better would have been to offer a free breakfast or lower priced food options - the hotel restaurant was small, limited options, though the staff was friendly, it was way overpriced. There are really no other options except the few airport eateries that are pre-security.

The room was clean, extremely comfortable with an excellent coffee maker. The location was perfect for arriving on a late evening flight. It was a bonus that the restaurant was still open at 10 pm and breakfast the next day was good as well. The staff were very welcoming and polite.

The signage was confusing when exiting the train. It would be helpful if an announcement or notice was posted at the stop. We had to step outside to see where we were.

Clean, comfortable, modern European style. Great transportation connections to airport and downtown Toronto (train shuttles). Fairly good restaurant - esp. hours (though limited menu and a bit “pricey”). Quiet /relaxing inside.

Lighting In room could have been better. Only one night table rather than two. Light from bathroom not shielded from bedroom (glass separation without shade). Room not completely sound proof from outside traffic and airport.

The location is brilliant. We chose to stay at Toronto Airport for 2 nights, rather than downtown. It is much less expensive and you can delay picking up a rental car and save on downtown parking costs which are very expensive. The Alt is located at the Link light rail station. You catch the Link to Terminal 1, then take the UP Union Pearson train to Union Station. So easy. We then collected our Hertz rental car from Terminal 1 the following day. The hotel is superb. Compact but brilliantly designed room and ensuite. Modern, clean and comfortable. Lovely view over airport but perfectly insulated. No noise. Efficient friendly staff. Simple but excellent bistro provides inexpensive and adequate light meals.

Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was a quick tram ride from the airport terminal, which is great for those who are spending the night waiting for another flight.

Hotel restaurant for dinner and breakfast was good but fairly expensive. The one night stay was also fairly expensive, however, this is to be expected when staying so close to the airport.

We had an 11-hour layover so decided to book a room here last minute. The hotel is located outside Pearson Airport (follow the signs in the airport). It's a little confusing after you get off the elevator to the parking garage. Just exit outside and you can't miss it. We ordered a pizza from the restaurant in the lobby, was a little pricey but good. The room was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
