I have stayed at the residence Inn for many years. What I really like about it is it is set up as a home away from home I come with colleagues, and because the all of the rooms are suites, everyone has their own bedroom and bathroom, and then the common area sitting area kitchen is really nice very different from other hotels. If you were sharing with folks where you feel like you can’t get out of bed and turn the lights on without waking up everyone in the room there’s laundry facilities staff are helpful and the location is great . Having Moxie‘s next-door is really helpful you can just walk for dinner and walk back to your hotel.

The room was very clean, comfortable, Breakfast was ok but not exceptional. Most of the staff where great. The guy at the front desk Saturday, Sunday dayshift was not very nice. He wouldn't let my sister that had fallen at the airport and hit her head entered the room early, he asked her to pay $150 for the extra 2 hours, she sat in the lobby When he left the girl let her in. I have never had that happen with a Meriotte Inn before. I say shame on him.

The property was particularly suited for family use with the provided kitchenette and the extra sofa bed in the living room. The staff were supportive especially the ladies at the restaurant.

It was close to the event I was attending so I could walk to my destination. Restaurants within walking distance as well. The kitchenette was even nicer than I expected and it had a full sized fridge. The elevators were fast so there wasn’t really a long wait time even when the place was the busiest.

The meat option for breakfast was my least favourite part. It was either too greasy or it had hard parts in it.

Kids liked the pool. Easy access to highways 401 and 427. Nice-sized parking lot. Hotel was quiet.

The coffee served with the breakfast was TERRIBLE. Noise from the heating/cooling system is loud. Would have liked the sofa bed pullout mattress to have been covered when we pulled it out - kind of gross seeing a slightly stained mattress. Suite did not have fitted sheets to use with the pull-out. Had indicated we would be using the pull-out - expected to have linens either on it already,

Pros: - Room was very clean and spacious (kitchenette with included dishes for cooking and serving, dishwasher with detergent, fridge, ice, drinking glasses, dining area, desk, pullout bed couch in living room, separate bedroom with king bed with it's own door - although the door doesn't lock) - Helpfulness of the front desk (Skip the Dishes forgot my ketchup, so I called the front desk and they provided me with some ketchup in a cup) - Breakfast was included (I understand it would have included eggs and sausage, had I gotten up on time to have breakfast served until 9:30 AM on weekends) - No extra charges above what I was expecting (parking our car in the parking lot was an additional $18, but I was aware of that by reading the booking.com reservation details) - Was able to log into my Netflix and Prime video streaming accounts on the TV in the room

Cons: Bed was a little squeaky

Staff are very friendly and helpful . Breakfast is American style , has bacon , yogurt, fruit etc . Hotel location is little far from airport , but hotel pay taxi fee max $28 when guest get taxi receipt . But shuttle service is needed .

Clean rooms, cordial staff, great housekeeping, family friendly. Specifically, the exhaust in one of the bathrooms made a loud noise for the first day or so of my stay. I did not complain but it was fixed by the staff irrespective. I suspect the housekeeping staff reported it to maintenance. so thank you for taking care of it.

I was under the impression that the property provided a free shuttle service from the airport, I must have misread the add on booking.com as many other properties in nearby location provided shuttle service as a result I had to hire a taxi for the round trip. another issue was being placed on hold for more than 5 minutes trying to talk to the front desk from the airport and by the way the call was charged long distance

they didn’t tell us they’d be adding $18 per day on top of the room n tax for parking. our daughter stayed with us first night. we paid $15 extra for her which we discussed. But I told them she was only there for one night and they charged us for 2 nights for her. when I brought it to their attention they said they would take the charge off but they did not!
