The pillows are so comfortable, I need go know where they're from so I can get one for home! Beds and bathroom were clean. This is a good place to stay if you are planning a night away with friends or family to spend your time on Clifton Hill and the surrounding area. Lots of fun places to check out, and a very short walk downhill to see the falls!

My only slight complaints are that the coffee provided had no cream/milk (or sugar?) available since there is no fridge, and the curtains have tiny little holes all over it and need replacing to keep all the light out. Also my friends and I commented on how old fashioned the bathroom was, and that it is in need of an update. Everything functions fine, however, so that should not deter you from staying here.

I thought the staff were excellent. The lady at the front desk was helpful when booking.com was not with respect to my extra night. She cancelled the other room that I had booked so I wouldn't be charged for it because booking.com didn't help me with the online booking.

I thought it was a bit expensive for what I got. I ended up paying 227.00 for what I was originally told was 168. Not sure how this happened but I am going to put it down to the help I did not receive from booking in booking an extra night at the hotel. They have to realize that not everyone is really good at online stuff and I just got told to do it myself by the person I spoke to at booking.com. I thought the calls were being recorded for "quality assurance"...apparently, my call was not.

Well the family restaurant!! When we checked in the hotel gave us coupons for breakfast so I have 2 children so when we went to pay they told us we could not use coupons for the kids breakfasts because they were 9.99 each and you need to spend 10.00 wow does that Penny make that much of a difference. So we could not use the coupons which was very upsetting

How close it was the everything. The price was great.

The noise because it come through the air conditioner. If they could at least take them out for the winter. Could use an update on the linen. The curtains were also see through

We love pretty much everything about Thriftlodge..clean..neat..grounds are spotless..kareoke is an added bonus..location is perfect.

As we sat for quite awhile outside our room..( weather was perfect). it was very upsetting to see that at least every 8/9cars out of 10 didn’t bother to pay for the public parking. Times have been so tough for your business..please enlist a parking monitor person.

It's right at the heart of Clifton Hill attractions !!! So accessible! The staffs, Sam & Guillermo were so accomodating, friendly & good with their job! Guillermo gave us the option to choose & to change our room since the 1st one that I booked in doesn't have a microwave & fridge. So we have to move to a room w/ amenities! Keep up with your good work, Sam & Guillermo !

The location was excellent right in the centre of Clifton Hill. For the cost the property exceeded our expectations

The karoke went on until late and was noisy but we were told about it before we booked.

The location was perfect, our room was directly in front of the Skywheel. The place was decent and comfortable. It was a good value for money.

The coffee maker was dirty, the pillows were small and the wifi was quite slow. But other than those, it was fine actually.

Location is good in the heart of entertainment and food. The parking is also excellent and the karaoke was fun. Could be a great to stay if tbey are upgraded.

The carpet needs to be replaced.It smells and yucky looking. Maybe you can upgrade the whole room. There was no iron or ironing bòard.
