Did the job for our family visit to Ottawa. Clean Friendly staff Spacious room Modern bathroom Reception constantly staffed. Basic but satisfying breakfast. Bit of a distance from the city's center, but only approx $14 Uber ride. Not as bad as some previous reviews.

Breakfast area too small Major gripe was that our beds weren't made once during our 3 night stay. Our towels were only replaced twice , we had to contact reception for fresh ones on our second night. We were told that they were short staffed. However, going by other reviews this is an ongoing issue, therefore the fault lies solely with the manager. Would I stay again? Yes.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They are willing to help and accommodate to your needs. The customer service is excellent. The room is spacious (larger than I expected) and clean. The breakfast is of high-quality and is included.

I stayed here during Canada day vacation. The breakfast supply sometimes cannot catch up with the large demand during breakfast peak. E.g., When I headed down for breakfast at 8.30, there is no sausage left. It got refilled but with only 10+ sausages, which is far from enough. The illumination is poor in my room (but no such issue in my parents room). The floor lamp and bedside lamps are very dim. Probably it happens to only a few rooms and would be better to inspect the issue. Overall, the service is great.

I travel for work, the hotel is comfortable, there's parking on-site, the staff are friendly. It is only a few minutes drive to downtown Ottawa but the hotel itself is in a quiet location on the outskirts. Continental breakfast with Waffle griddle and some hot food items. The rooms we stayed in was recently renovated and looked modern and neat. For this value this place was exceptional.

It's hard to be critical given that this is a value hotel and, at the end of the day, you get what you pay for. I did notice that not all the rooms were renovated yet, so it could all depend on which rooms are available when you book.

The location was great. We reached around midnight and checking in was no issue. The inn is being renovated so there is a bit of an unfinished feel to the place. That being said, the room we were given was great. It was spacious. We asked if we could keep our cycles in the room and the staff was very accommodating. With three adults and three cycles inside, it still didn't feel cramped. We opted for the room with two double beds and were very comfortable. We also opted for a breakfast included option. There was fruit, cereals, eggs, sausages, bread, bagels etc. A good breakfast for the price. Would definitely stay again.

I loved everything about the Welcome Inn. It was just such a breath of fresh air to have employees that were so super nice and friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel as a 5 star hotel. The continental breakfast was so amazing - it was more like a buffet breakfast with hot and cold choices - make your own waffles hot and tasty. My friend who stayed there at the same time with her son also was so impressed. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when coming to Ottawa! Keep up the amazing work!

There actually wasn't anything I didn't like. Everything was amazing.

I booked this hitel last minute after running away from a very bad place; I booked it because it was the cheapest option but I was positively suprised with it: the room is huge with all comforts (frige, tv, armchairs, big bathroom and also a second entrance from the parking at groundfloor). It is 10-15 minutes drive from the city center - there's also a bus stop close by- and also includes breakfast!

The location is ok to visit Ottawa but there's nothing in the surrounding, only other hotels and buildings.

It was comfortable, staffs were nice and helpful, specially Mr. ISAH, such a sweet guy. & also Saul. Room was big enough for two, small fridge, micro, coffee pods, etc *Breakfast arrangements* were cute, I wud say... they offered all u need, coffee, tea, waffles, pancakes, muffins, breads, bagel, spreads.. Cereals and egg..!! What else do u need. There is a shopping mall nearby, St laurent, about 5mins walk from the hotel, which was convenient.

The rooms were comfortable in size and amenities. It had a coffee machine and a microwave. Check-in was smooth as was the checkout. Bus stop is a 5 min walk (for bus for downtown or Parliament hill). The staff couldn’t give the exact location so consult google. A couple of nice eating places are nearby. Breakfast of course is basic but sufficient.

The glasses in the room were disposable ones which could be replaced by glass or ceramic/porcelain cups.

It's a good deal, large room for a fair price, in walking distance to O-train which takes you to the city centre; had a coffee machine, a microwave and a fridge. Shopping mall St-Laurent nearby

Breakfast is included but a rather modest offer, not comparable to a typical European breakfast buffet - and unfortunately like in most places in North America, all one-use cutlery, plates etc. what an amount of trash!

Location is good. Property is clean. Rooms on the first floor have access door that allow for privacy in and out of your room without going through the reception. It’s secured.

The chair, toilet seat and cabinet are not designed for tall people. They are too low, and probably kid friendly. They hurt my back. Breakfast was generally good, except that the fruits were obviously rotten before displayed. They had only pork sausage, and not variety of sausages.
