Spacious, stylish and comfortable room in a beautiful, characterful hotel. Staff were all really friendly and the live music was fantastic. Fab location on the water in a cute village. We love visiting The Cove and will be back for sure.

Muffins, yoghurt, juice and tea/ coffee provided in the room but we were disappointed this seems to have replaced the buffet breakfast in the restaurant.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The inn is in a small village on the Rideau and within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and a vineyard. The restaurant and pub followed Covid protocols , was accommodating and the food and beverages were delicious and affordable. Nightly music was very enjoyable. The views of the river from the dining room, bar or patio were tranquil and the veranda was welcoming and was perfect for relaxing after a busy day of golf and shopping. The rooms were a perfect blend of antiques and modern luxuries.

No breakfast at this time but staff forewarned us and we stocked our room fridge with goodies. Coffee machines in each room were provided.

Lovely old inn with all the funky uniqueness you'd expect in an older building. Yet everything worked as you would expect in a modern hotel - no issues with the WIFI, plumbing, A/C or any other aspect of the stay. Staff at the check-in were very friendly and welcoming, getting our stay off to an excellent start.

We were a bit disappointed in the dinner we ate there. Our impression was that they may have been over-booked and staff therefore a bit overwhelmed ... service was very friendly and informative but slow; the food was very tasty but just warm, not hot, as if it had been sitting for a few minutes before delivery. Thankfully we were not in a hurry and the dinnertime entertainment was very enjoyable, so overall it was still a pleasant experience.

Location, facilities (grounds with Gazebo). Evening music program was excellent. Lobby and front porch were nice areas to relax.

The continental breakfast left in our fridge was what we liked the least. We would have preferred a hot breakfast in the dining room.

it is located centrally and near the water

some rooms are above the bar where they have bands and there is no soundproofing. it is fine if you are planning to attend the performance

Good restaurant with nightly live music

Everything closed at 9 so not alot of night life but that was true for the whole town not just the cove.

Very comfortable bed, strong window AC during this heat wave, beautiful building with view on the water. The restaurant has good food, although a bit pricey and all personnel is very friendly. We particularly liked to hang out in the veranda overlooking the water (across the street from the parking lot, mind you).
