Quality Inn & Suites Kingston

Beds were super comfy. The front desk called me to confirm if its ok my friend check in because I booked the reservation and my friend was checking in. That was very food service, they didn't just refuse but tactfully called my contact # to confirm. Was great that breakfast and parking was included in the room rate. Front desk staff was friendly and made conversation on different occasions

Breakfast could have been a little more variety. For $300 a night, a change from sausage to bacon would be nice. I spend $200 a night on some hotel and get a really nice breakfast with that.

We booked and arrived later at night due to a bad experience at the original hotel we were booked at. Kate was very understanding and got us checked in quickly. She made sure we were happy with our room and recommended we take advantage of the breakfast in the morning. I'm glad we did. Breakfast was phenomenal, and the lady providing it was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and stocked, AC worked well, and it was quiet. I like that this hotel accepts dogs as well, although we didn't have ours with us. Check out was quick and easy. Also, my partner forgot his glasses, and Kate helped us to arrange to get them shipped to us. This is going to be my hotel chain of choice when traveling.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like here.

The front desk staff when we checked in was fabulous. When we arrived there was a girls ringette team and their families hanging out in the lobby and to say I was worried about the noise level upon entering is an understatement. We asked for a room furthest from the team hoping to retain some quiet over our weekend and the staff happily put us on the floor with the least of them. She also said they try to keep the teams in the lobby when they’re hanging out to avoid disruption to other guests in rooms. well, that completely worked. We didn’t hear a peep from the team once we left the lobby. Sunday breakfast was fine, Mondays eggs were dried out so we threw them out. The room was clean and inviting. The bed would be comfy for those who like a softer mattress. Quiet location, right off the highway.

I prefer a more firm mattress but that’s preference.

We have been in a lot of hotels because of work and Lately, we notice that Quality Inn hotels are not in the best condition, but I can tell you that this hotel exceeded my expectations. Starting with the customer service was excellent!!! Very friendly and helpful with a smile as we know that is very rare these days. Very clean hotel, the carpets in the corridors are very clean and the rooms are spacious clean, and comfortable. I had a beautiful sunset view from my room. I recommend this hotel !!

The only thing I don't like about this hotel was the coffee.

The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly, the bed and linens were very comfortable.. Staff was responsive to questions, and offered help.

The location was handy, but not appealing The, being in a more industrial- looking area. Was happy that noise from nearby truck refilling/ perhaps overnight storage caused no early, loud noise. The shower was very clean, but some evidence of mildew on the edge around the floor was very noticeable. Magic eraser or repainting of floor would be encouraged. Always prefer non-carpeted unit to help minimize trapped allergens. A bit disappointed in breakfast offerings, based on review listings.

Shout out to Dani on Reception. I had spoken with Dani the day before to make some accommodation changes and she was so pleasant and helpful to deal with. She was also on reception on our arrival and it was so nice to meet here. She ensured we had both our rooms within a very short period of time. I found all the staff we dealt with very pleasant. The breakfast was well prepared with a lot of selection.

Unfortunately, due to Covid, there was no housekeeping provided despite the fact we were staying 3 nights. After no cleaning the following day, I went to front desk and was told that I should have been told on arrival of this. I don't recollect that being something mentioned. I did get the items I needed and was advised that I could request housekeeping by contacting the front desk or to just leave garbage outside the door. The housekeeping lady on the floor cleaning empty rooms was very accommodating and provided us with anything we needed without entering our room. I know protocols have to be in place but since the breakfast room was full of people, having housekeeping do our rooms seemed something that could still be done.

The room was comfortable and clean. It came with all the basic necessities. The location was also right off the highway so it was easily accessible. The front desk staff was quite friendly.

The breakfast was a total disappointment and there isn't no variety in it either. The eggs and sausages were cold and I skipped breakfast on day 2 of my stay there. The value for money isn't that great as I have paid lesser for other amazing stays.

Hot breakfast was great. Beds were extremely comfortable and bedding was luxurious. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Checkin and checkout was simple and efficient. I went down to the desk and asked for a comfy blanket to cover me up while watching TV, and they instantly provided a lovely warm quilt-like blanket that was perfect. Great location to explore Kingston, Picton, Napanee and all the rest of Prince Edward County with its easy access to the 401.

Gym could be better equipped as there was not much there. I would prefer shower bath gel rather than just a bar of soap. Had very noisy people above us who walked very heavy footed, and their kid(s) jumped off the beds, bounced balls, and they thumped away, opened and closed drawers and doors for most of the night (starting at 3:30 am) which led to a poor night's sleep. We asked to be moved to another room in the morning, but none was available. The 2nd night they were still noisy starting at 4:30 AM. This is not a slight on the hotel as they told us after night 1 to call them if we had problems night 2 and they would speak to the people. But this just generally affected our enjoyment of the hotel.

Everything was great room wise. Clean , bed and pillows very comfortable . Breakfast was good

House keeping did not pick up dirty towels for two days even left outside the room. shortage of electricity by Hydro was suppose to be 4 am to 8 am left at 9:45 am, no hot water for shower, no emergency lighting in hallway or staircase, could not sign out and get my refund, that ruined our last day in Kingston and did not get compassion of any kind from the staff for that extra power outage that we had not agreed to when we signed in on Friday when they told us it would be 4 hours only. It’s unacceptable that the emergency lighting was not functioning and no hot water in 2022. will not book through any 3 rd party anymore either. Breakfast area is not well design to flow.

Good hotel. This was a pit stop towards Toronto. It served it's purpose and it was exactly what I expected from a hotel in that price range.

There was no mattress cover that could be zipped so the mattress was showing which I find is not ideal for a hotel bed. The continental breakfast was ok but the coffee was horrible. The toilet was not screwed in properly in the ground and kept moving when you sat down on it.
