I stay at this facility on and off when passing through Montreal, and I'm running out of positive adjectives on these regular Booking.com "Rating Requests". So, whoever reads this, just take my word for it.

The Property Management chose to have all the stairway hand-rails painted at the same time.....meaning that all of them had "caution - wet paint" labels, with the corresponding sticky rails. (They should have planned to paint them in stages, i.e. a few days apart, to allow the proper drying of the paint-job, before "attacking" the next stairway). It might have cost a bit more in labour, but wouldn't have annoyed as many customers! The Elevator is far too slow. (...or, as one ages, one has less patience....lol).

The ELEVATOR terrified me. I had never been in an elevator where you have to keep holding the button. I released the button after I first pressed it and it got stuck between floors. This scared me to death. This hotel as to work on getting a more modernized elevator. Coming from Toronto I was not used to this type of elevator. With mobility issues I couldn't take the stairs.

The staff is amazing! We are very weary travelers who's flight was cancelled in Montreal. After such poor treatment by air Canada, the hotel was so accommodating. I probably shouldn't go into the details how much they did for us, as it was well beyond anything one should expect normally. Early check-in and getting us some free toothbrushes were the highlights.

The room was a little warm and humid, I think something was wrong with the air conditioner.

Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice. The location was good with restaurants and grocery stores close by.

Sound from the hallways comes easily into the rooms, any conversation in the hallway can be heard word for word in the room. That said, it was quiet at night. Disappointed in all the single use plastic and paper cups and plates at breakfast. Such waste. It would be much better to have real plates and cutlery.

Convenient location right on main though affair (although gettin in and exiting if you're going North is a bit tricky). Staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was generous and staff were attentive. Although the pancake machine wasn't working :( A few nearby (easy walking distance) restaurants, one of which served smoke meat specialties and it was fantastic.

The room and bathroom in top shape and super clean. Also, the staff is cheerful and always smiling.

Since Covid, we need to complete an order form for our breakfast. Unfortunately, there is no logical way to submit the form, and the orders get all mixed up. If there are more than 5 forms on the counter, the next guests simply place their form over yours, and it get buried at the bottom. there should be a better way to keep the breakfast forms in a chronological order: First in, first completed. But your staff worked VERY hard and it was really appreciated.

The staff was super nice and always helpful, and willing to help with everything we asked for! Breakfast was really good, a little crowded sometimes but good variety of food. The pool area is also really nice!

Room was a little small, and I actually didn't like the fact that there's an entry door to/from outside, didn't know about that when I booked the room.

We love the breakfast provided by the hotel.

We have most foods we need for the breakfast. we can even pack some home if you wish. they provide bag for you to take away.

Bedroom was good for our stay, large enough to be confortable. A well-equipped and clean bathroom. Beds were comfy. Breakfast and associated staff were perfect, they were willing to meet the hosts requirements.

At checkin, the person who did it was not so nice. Maybe a bad day for her, but it was minor detail.

It was a relaxing, pleasant experience. I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it. Staff were friendly and helpful. The way the breakfast was served was a bit confusing at the beginning but I learned how things work quickly, especially I loved the "take away" option for the breakfast which suited greatly with my busy calendar. I will return for sure.
