At first we were a little worried as the space did not match the listing but the host - Michel - was attentive, apologetic, and ensured we got what we booked! It's a gorgeous boutique space in a cool location. It's a quirky place; not like a chain hotel but more of a boutique, with its own character. Gorgeous art, super comfortable beds, and a friendly owner make the space special. I beleive there are 4 units in total here, and would stay here again/reccommend the place.

Soundproofing between the units was a concern one night, with loud upstairs neighbours. They did quiet down by midnight, so nothing to worry about too much.

nice size apartment. great garden area out the back door.

the street was all torn up. hard to get to our place and very noisy. obviously, not their fault. it’s a walk to the garage, but it was a totally safe area.

There was no breakfast, just a suggestion of going to a very expensive and busy cafe-bakery a 5-minute walk away. The space was cute, the bed comfy, and the back courtyard felt like ours as we didn't see anyone else out there-- that felt special, we could have an old friend come visit at OUR place while we were in town! And the sliding door to separate the sleeping area from the front room was a nice extra layer of privacy-- the front window faces right onto the sidewalk, and someone tried to get in our rather thin interior front door in the middle of the night, so it definitely helped us stay comfortable.

There was no coffee, and the air conditioner either was broken or wasn't an air conditioner-- at time it was hotter in the room than it was outside, and the heat made it hard to sleep. We also ran out of toilet paper, which was awkward. The massive construction going on in Griffintown impacted us a lot-- we constantly had to navigate around the detours, deal with drilling and dust, etc. Great place to stay overall, but the lack of coffee, rough hot nights, and early morning construction made for some grumpy morning us-- wouldn't suggest staying in Griffintown until it's less chaotic. Also, when did it become condo hell??
