I liked the quick check-in/check out process. The room was nice, very spacious and the view was good too. The bed was really comfy. Two bathrooms so always helps with getting the family ready for the day. Great location and very friendly front desk staff.

No free wifi. Internet is no longer a “good-to-have”. It is a necessity. Found the need to purchase internet package in this day and age a bit ridiculous. The other thing I didn’t like was the baggage storage fee. Again, not something I have faced in other five start hotels. Not a lot of money but felt it was poor taste.

Hotel is in excellent location. Beds are very comfortable. Macaroons as welcome token were a trully nice touch.

Hotel is very big and there was always a queue at concierge. However employees working there were very professional and capable. There were some scarry and big spiders outside of our room window (16th floor!). We could not open the window for some fresh air because of spiders. We survived, but that was what we did not like. We did not have any drinking glasses or coffee cups in the room and had to ask for some. We got them upon request. One day cleaning lady took away shower gel (to replace/refill the bottle) and forgot to finish the step... so we had to ask for it. There are full size shampoo + conditioner + shower gel in the bathroom.

I really liked location of the hotel and the fact that they do not charge 'deposit' which some hotels do

The fact that all cafes in the hotel close around 6pm

Though the rooms are small they are perfectly set up to be comfortable. The furniture was nice, and comfy. The hotel was very quiet, and we had a great sleep! Beds were so comfy! Really enjoyed our view, and room.

The wait to get checked in, and waiting to check out. I ended up asking the concierge if I had to wait in the line. She took my room keys and said I would be checked out and receive my invoice in my email. Parking was next to impossible. Took my husband 20 mins to find parking, with no real help from any of the staff.

The location was amazing - right next door to the train station and central downtown. The beds were extremely comfortable. The view from our room was lovely overlooking Mount Royal. The lobby Cafe and marche were convenient and tasty.

This Fairmont does not compare to others I've stayed at. The luxury wasn't there The only real complaint however is value for money.

Upsell to room that got me access to 21st floor lounge, Helpful directions from staff to get us where we were going on the city Terrace bar great (but expensive)- seated away from bar and ignored? (old person, not hipster/ so we fixed that and were well tended by the bartender) Store for artisan treats was greatl. Liked the design, furniture, floral arrangement was great but needed refreshing after days- liked the art in rooms. Location great for museums, and jazz fest venues and lots of great restoraunts.

Not much-(see above)

The staff were incredible to deal with, and they went above and beyond to make sure we could check in early. The room was clean and the location of the building was perfect. Fitness center and pool are very good. Coffee shop and restaurant/chocolate shop was delicious!

Could use a 24-hour grab and go food option at or near the hotel, getting in late and leaving early makes it hard to find something to eat when everything else nearby is closed.

Lovely (mostly) hotel in the centre of the city. Nice beds. Able to get to shopping without going outside.

Way over priced. Breakfast was 40$ and that was just a normal breakfast buffet. They even charge for the Internet! Ridiculous. Lots of things broken in the room or hotel including the down button for the elevator to get off the floor. Tiniest bathroom and actually the whole room was small.

The location of the hotel is convenient for anything downtown Montreal. The train station from Quebec City arrived right to the hotel. We had a great view from our room.

I did not like the upsell on check in, add on extra charge for everything, that is included in most hotels. Wifi is not included.$$ Better room $$ access to the floor with breakfast included $ Rooms are quite small, and the bathroom is tiny.

When assigning us a room the staff gave us a few options and when we expressed the desire for a good view they delivered. The bed was very good, we slept well. The location is midway between several attractive areas. Although we did not use the Metro this visit, it is right there. Spacious lobby is a nice feature. When there was a delay in finding our reservation the staff gave us a card for two free drinks at their bar/restaurant. The room is well appointed with nice glassware and toiletries. The staff were very helpful in person and checked in via text to resolve any concerns. Very good customer service.

Wanted to eat at the hotel restaurants our first night, but were disappointed by their limited menus (for my wife who is vegetarian) and by the in-house food store being closed. Her choices were a $34 plate of spaghetti at their restaurant and/or a cheese board at their bar. The in-room refrigerator was one of those pre-stocked auto-charging types that was useless for keeping some of the food that we did get out on our travels and at a farmers' market. I would rather have a functioning refrigerator. The hotel also experienced some internet problems during our stay, which seemed to cause some delays.
