The location of La Maison Kent is just perfect. It is just a few steps from Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. There are lots of restaurants and shops around. Property appears to be recently renovated. It is clean and comfortable.

There is no regular or scheduled maintenance. Therefore, for longer stays this is a problem. For example, you need to take out the garbage etc. Also, the management is a “self check in and self check out “ type. Therefore, if you need to contact a manager or attendant you need to call or email them first. This is not the best in my opinion.

The main selling point of this property is the location, which is fantastic. The room I had was beautiful too and very comfortable. The shower was very powerful. Although there is no restaurant, there are tons of places around, including a nice cafe in the same building.

I didn't like the fact that the code to get in couldn't be sent to me until I sent my visa card number, despite the fact that I had paid in full a week or so beforehand. It is not that easy to stay on top of emails in another country, when your phone is not working all the time.

The location is ideal, right in old town. The room was clean and well furnished, and stylish, too. The checkin and checkout processes were easy.

The followup email containing access information did not arrive until a few minutes before checkin, which is fine, but in that case the initial confirmation email should be revised to not say the access information will arrive a couple hours before. The pendant lights in our room did not respond to the slider or any other lightswitch, forcing us to unscrew the bulbs to turn off the light at night. The "checked out" sign (part of the checkout process) was not present in the room.

The location was fantastic, right in the middle of all the sights, and with public parking directly across the street. The room was very spacious and clean.

We didn't receive the code for the keys and had to call the hotel. They put me on hold for 15 minutes (not an exaggeration) then came back to the line, said "hello?" And hung up the phone. I called back a second time and received the code. Please do yourself a favor and call on the way to the hotel for the code. We didn't have any other interactions with staff for our stay.

perfect location and the room is awesome- the little kitchenette actually has a tea kettle, hot plate, wine opener, et which was great. we didn't even plan on cooking but we could have. The radiant floor heating was awesome since it was -20 C while we were there- the fact it was built in 1648 and they can keep is toasty at that temp is amazing.

The registration was a little confusing, I didn't get an email from the hotel asking me to send in my photo ID so I had to call when we got there to get the codes, and it was still confusing when all along there was a guy there at the desk that could have let us in

The location is absolutely perfect

First, our room bathroom fan wasn’t working at all Second, room was little bit smelly I don’t know why Third, finding keys were nightmare because instruction sent by owner was not really clear. However, everything was good specially location and also I didn’t recommend this property to stay since it was really expensive ( by expensive mean it isn’t worth for this property) you can absolutely find much better and super clean properties for much less than this.

The location of the apartment cant be beat. The room is nice and updated. We would recommend this place and company.

The apartment was great. The staff receptive. Easy entrance. The only issue was we didn't have towels for the bathroom and theres no lobby so it took some time to get them. Next time i would just check the room on arrival. The owner of the shop downstairs is super nice. Othrrwise the place is great. We would recommend this because the location couldnt be better.

What a gorgeous loft hotel located 1 block from the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City. VERY VERY centrally located to all the best walking, shopping, eating, and sight seeing spots in QC. The hotel is very historical from the outside, but very updated and modern and clean on the inside. The room was beautiful, with exposed brick wall, but modern furnishings, and modern amenities. Had a kitchen area with a fridge, a hot plate, cook ware, glasses, utensils, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, etc, so that you could prep your own meals if you wished. Bed was super luxurious, and the room was very very clean and well appointed.

Not too happy with the “check in” process. We received an email with the door code, and the lock box code to retrieve our key. What was missing? WHICH ROOM WAS I BOOKED INTO???? With 12 + different lock boxes on the wall, it was a bit frustrating trying to get in. Also, there are no staff on site to help. Had to call the phone number of the main office to get a room number. THe next day, we met a family with a small child having the same problem. They did not know their room number, and had no code to check in. Communications need to be better.

The location was fantastic, the room was comfortable once some issues were sorted out. Modern facilities.

4pm check in is too late. There is nowhere to leave your luggage while you wait to check in except the café in front at a high charge. Wifi wasn’t working and it took until the evening for management to respond.

there should be onsite luggage storage, having to taxi 10 min away to drop luggage to to taxi again to retire it is very inconvenient and because of this would not stay here again even though it was such a good location, and the bathroom door didn’t stay closed so hard with family of 4, would appreciate regular size coffee and was only provided 4 mini capsules for 4 people with 3 nights
