Location: 4 Subway lines in walking distance (2/8, 1, 4, 7) 2 of those reachable via elevator to hotel basement SEG Center is across the road Facilities: Fitness room (F36) Enjoy the treadmill views, they are great! Be aware, free weights are lacking. 2 high quality, full featured towers make up well. Washing machine on the terrace (F31). Everything required is there for free. Staff: Many speak fluent English. this is a rarity in Shenzhen. Super helpful and friendly. Special tanks to Johnathan the general Manager. WIFI: Hotel has a great internet connection for free. Still you will require VPN for "western" Services. This is a general limitation that applies to ALL Hotels in Shenzhen. There are no more exceptions from the "big firewall". Rooms: Clean, great pillows and matraces If you can grab a high floor do it, the views are great. King rooms do have better views than twin rooms.

Very lucky to have spent 7 nights here. The staff were friendly and always tried their best to deal with my queries. Location is the best. The metro is right outside the hotel. Line 2 goes right through most of the key places I wanted to visit as a tourist or allowed easy connection to other lines. There is an underground shopping area in the metro station that was handy for food. Lots of little restaurants to try here. The Huaqiang Bei area has a lively vibe and always felt safe to walk around at night. Plenty of shops and street food to explore. I was in a twin room which was large and spacious. In the bathroom, I liked the design of the sliding door which either exposed the shower or the toilet (note that the walls separating the room and bathroom is dark glass and can be slightly see-through from the entrance hallway). The city view from the room was excellent and beautiful at night. The hotel was quiet except for some slight traffic noise outside in the early evening. The turndown service was great and very consistent. Some reviewers noted difficulty finding the entrance to the hotel. I asked the hotel to provide me with the address in Chinese prior to arrival, which I showed the taxi driver (here it is: 深圳华强广场酒店 广东省深圳市福田区华强北路1019号). Taxi's are a relatively cheap way to travel in China, it cost me only 90 RMB from Shekou ferry port (150 RMB on the way back during rush hour). I would advise that you go into the Starbucks entrance. The lifts are on the left. Check-in on level 23. I arrived at around 11 am and luckily my room was ready. Another set of lifts goes to the rooms. You need a keycard to access these, which makes it feel safe travelling as a single woman. Thank you. I really enjoyed my stay. I would stay again if i came back!

Sometimes, I needed more light than was available in the room, but this is just a personal preference.

Location! Train/subway just steps away from the main entrance making it easy to get around the city. Good food offerings within 500m radius, Maoye mall with premium brands about 200m and surrounded by multi level IT/gadget malls. Housekeepers were polite and friendly.

Room shows sign of wear and tear. Cleanliness could be improved. Left side of the king size bed had a slight odor of urine. Housekeeper on duty the first 2 days wasn’t very thorough. On our final (5th)day, we extended the room for a half day since ours were a midnight flight -found it odd that they didn’t leave us bath towels nor replenished drinking water. Not sure if half day rate doesn’t warrant these amenities.

The room is very spacious. The view was amazing, and I really appreciated how much light the road had. The beds were very comfortable for a person with back issues. I love how clean the room was. The staff was friendly and tried to help, but it was a bit difficult for some of them to communicate with foreigners. Yet, some of them were fluent. So, communication wasn't an issue at all. The hotel's location is excellent, and you have everything you may need, from shopping to coffee shops. Also, you have a metro station right in front of the hotel. They always provide you with a lot of water, and you can even take extra bottles near an elevator.

The system with one door for the shower and toilet is questionable, especially when traveling with your friend. Also, the bathroom has little light, and it's too dark to do your make-up. We have an indication that the floor is smoke-free, but each time we left the room, we smelled it quite heavily.

I stayed here a few years ago, was most impressed at the time and so chose to return. I'm pleased to say that I wasn't disappointed second time around. Room was spacious and sparkling clean, bed very comfy, and the view out over Shenzhen captivating. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of dishes, good coffee and the opportunity to have items cooked to order. The reception area/lobby is calm and restful after the hustle and bustle of the Shenzhen electronics markets and the location of the hotel superb, with direct access to the very efficient and far reaching metro system. Should I return to Shenzhen then I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Having to work late a couple of evenings, being able to order some food via Room Service or delivery would have been useful.

Excellent hotel, excellent service, polite, clean hotel, very large room, highly recommended, location close to everything, speaks English, an very good gym for those who like it, and most importantly, there is the manager Jonathan who personally takes care of every guest, very caring, answers every question in a very professional manner, there is no doubt that Jonathan, the manager, is an asset to the hotel and made my stay to perfect, he also upgraded me in a lot of things, including a bar room and a lot more. My stay at this hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel's strategic location in the business hub made it incredibly convenient for my work, and being just 10 meters away from the metro station provided easy access to all parts of Shenzhen. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the hotel rooms were noteworthy, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff, particularly the reception team, stood out for their friendliness and genuine warmth. Beta, the reception lady, went above and beyond, showing a caring attitude by ensuring our needs were met and even inquiring about our meals. Mr. Jonathan at the front desk emerged as a true asset during my stay. His exceptional level of assistance was evident in helping with city navigation, arranging meetings, and guiding us to halal restaurants. His dedication extended to ensuring we didn't encounter any hiccups in our travel plans, going so far as to make sure we didn't miss our train to Foshan. Jonathan truly became our guardian angel during our time at the hotel. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its prime location, impeccable service, and a team that goes the extra mile to make guests feel at home.

English speaking translator Jonathon made the Hotel a pleasant stay. It was difficult to talk to the receptionists but Jonathon was there to intervene when needed and provided a wechat connection to answer many questions some unrelated to the Hotel and concerning travel around the city. Jonathon made my stay very enjoyable which otherwise might have been difficult

The directions to the hotel not clearly explained on Booking.com did not understand where the entrance was and how to find the hotel as the taxi drop off point was in the street not right outside the Hotel

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Great thanks to Mr. Johnathan one of the best receptionist I met ever very helpful person. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future

Nothing everything is perfect

This hotel is convenient to walk to all the shops that I wanted to visit. Reception staff were all very nice and served guests with great attention to details. The room is in very good size, bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable. One can have a very good sleep as it's quiet too. There are tea/coffee and bottle water when you are waiting for check in, which shows great attention to details in this hotel. One could tell the management has put effort into training their staff to make the guests' stay a pleasant experience. Highly recommend this hotel.
