The staff firstly made the difference, friendly and approachable and really tried to make your stay easier, and succeeded with me. I would recommend they share all their offerings with booking.com as they had so many options that I did not even see on the website. As a very fussy/boring eater, they fully catered to the western and eastern pallets. I was able to take my Chinese clients there and they were very happy and impressed with different offerings. Internet connection was the best I ever had in China.

Would have liked a menu for inside dining, as I saw it was available but did not see a way to order. Information about the restaurant right at the top (40th floor), I could not find out the price of their set meal not if I was able to just visit the sky bar without having a meal there. Very few negatives as said the hotel and staff in particular was ver good.

We have stayed at the Shangri-La in Futian a number of times now and have always enjoyed our time there. Check-in is always very smooth and the staff are welcoming and attentive to our needs. We enjoy the hotel's quiet and calm atmosphere even though it is in the centre of the city. The Chi Spa treatments are always exceptional too. There is always a good variety of food and drink to suit any appetite.

We choose to stay in the Horizon Club rooms when we visit and enjoy the welcome fruit platter and bottle of wine awaiting us on arrival. This time there wasn't any fruit or wine and when they delivered it later the fruit platter was very basic.

The room is great, very comfortable, the bathroom is excellent, nice relaxing bathtub, very clean, amazing view. The lounge is great and with good option for food and drinks. The location is excellent, just downtown with lots of food, bars and shopping options just outside the main door.

The only issue I have with the hotel is that besides the Lounge staff, the rest of the staff barely speaks any English. I tried to call costumer service to ask a question, nobody could answer me. For a Shangri-la hotel, it would be expected that the main staff would have better English skills.

The hotel is very centrally located and we were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast buffet is more than sufficient, however as a Muslim, may I suggest possibly a little more vegetarian dishes. The hotel is clean and we'll presented. I must add that Samantha Zhang and Jack Wei were exceptional in their customer services and looked after us extremely well. They both are exemplary in how hospitality should be offered.

Hotel was clean and you have everything you need. Shenzen city view at 34th floor was amazing. Breakfast is very good with a lot of varieties to try. Right in the center of Futian area you have a lot of places to go, visit and eat. Easy connection to other Shenzhen areas like Nanshan or Shenzhen Bay.

The location was really convenient for our business trip and the service was faultless. We ate from the buffet in the restaurant on the ground floor and the food was really good. Rooms were very spacious and bright and beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was centrally located in Futian, easy access to malls and restaurants. As always, the hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful.

Every aspect was above average, if must mention something that wasn’t my preference then it would be the strong fragrance at the lobby.
