Good, spacious room with nice individual artistic touches, very clean and well-maintained. Staff were absolutely lovely and super helpful (although it would be good to inform guests in advance that no-one is there on Wednesday afternoons/evenings). Nice little pool and good facilities -location great for exploring La Fortuna without being right in the centre. The onsite resturant/pizzeria is excellent - there are lots of good Italian places in La Fortuna but this was probably the best!

Did not feel very private/quiet as some other guests were very noisy. It's a small hotel so it's fair enough that the rooms are close together and the shared communal areas are small, which was mostly fine and very pleasant, except at times when there were other guests playing music on speakers and doing group zoom calls with the sound on right next to the pool, which basically excludes everyone else and you can hear it very loudly even in your room. Perhaps this is normal for some people but I think the communal spaces would be improved by restricting guests from having amplified music/phone calls in the public areas.

Hotel Arte Natura exceeded our expectations in every way. It is a true boutique hotel with interesting decor, clean and well-stocked rooms, and unique outdoor spaces. Our family (including our two children) loved the time we spent here and especially enjoyed the covered, fully-equipped, outdoor kitchen and lovely pool area (with stunning views of the volcano). (We also appreciated the use of the washer/dryer!) Its location, just north of La Fortuna town, allowed us to have easy access to all the activities in the area while avoiding the crowded townsite. An extra bonus was that the same family who owns/runs this hotel also owns the amazing pizza restaurant next door (Restaurante y Pizzeria Vagabondo).

This was a very nice, well-priced accommodation. Nothing fancy, but clean and spacious. We especially liked the fact that there were a lot of different comfortable seating areas to hang out in. Also an outdoors kitchen, fridge etc which we didn't need to use but is great to have. Great breakfast, friendly service. We also booked dinner at the restaurant (reserve a table ahead/at check-in as it is popular) which we very much enjoyed. It is situated on a fairly busy road outside Fortuna but there was no road noise from our rooms (which faced the pool/inner courtyard). I would stay here again - we had a car and I prefer this location to in the town of Fortuna itself.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Arte Natura. The hosts were very welcoming and were there to help out with any questions we had. There were 2-3 options for the breakfast as well which is nice so it isn't the same thing over and over. The location was good in that it was a short drive to La Fortuna and had a decent amount of other restaurants around it walking distance away. The restaurant at the hotel (Restaurante y Pizzeria Vagabondo) was quite good and you get a discount for staying at the hotel! Rooms were clean and in good working order.

Street noise was definitely noticeable from our room. Not the end of the world, but if you are a light sleeper, it could be an issue. Our mattress was fairly firm as well.

Lovely garden and pool area (didn’t try pool as the weather was terrible but looked nice!). Rooms clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast of fruit + typica/crepe/eggs. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free use of washer/dryer - very handy mid-hol! Lots of restaurants nearby.

Slightly outside centre of La Fortuna (30 min walk). Walls very thin so you can hear every word neighbours are saying and vice versa! Several disturbed nights with noisy neighbours both in the hotel and next door - some guy strimming his garden at 6:30am!

The staff was very friendly and amenable, helpful, caring. There is a very large modern comfortable covered outdoor living area and full kitchen. Even a washer and dryer included! My room was modest but had a/c, great bed, flat screen TV, security box, bedside tables, shelving & hangers for clothes. Everything is spotlessly clean. Set back from main road so not much road noise at night. Good Italian restaurant and small very clean pool with lounge chairs. I also liked getting a significant discount through Booking.com.

I didn't dislike anything, but felt the artwork in the room could have been more original given the name of the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel for many reasons.

Staff really helpful, and helped me to organise a taxi. Contacted me after I left to check if I left something behind. Nice layout, good seating areas and opportunity to do free laundry. Room spacious, clean and comfortable. Pizza place next door is really good. About 1km away from central la Fortuna, but on way to hot springs and volcano.

Great comfortable family room with good sized bathroom. Communal kitchen and seating areas, pool and access to laundry service were all bonus points. Just out of main town so was a great quiet location but near to all main points. We did the local Volcano walk, hot springs and went into town. Attached Italian restaurant was good food and good wine! Breakfast was also lovely and staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you!

We loved our stay - no faults.

This hotel was a perfect place for our family of 4 (2adults, 2 teens) to stay for 3 nights! We loved how close it was to everything! The open shared common areas were an added bonus as it allowed us to be outdoors to dine and chill. The pool was perfect to cool off and relax. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Our room had 4 beds and plenty of room. The room was clean and comfortable. The property was in great condition. You’ll fall in love with it The views of the Volcano were spectacular! The restaurant was amazing! Be sure to order a pizza!!! Our teens loved this hotel! We can’t wait to come back!!

Breakfast was great and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I felt like I was adopted into a family. The pool was a nice little place to relax after a day of hiking etc. Pizza is the best in La Fortuna.

The walls are not very thick. But that's the case in any hotel in this area. If you are not an early riser and you have a room on the poolside, you might be awoken by people using the pool.
