Fantastic secluded apartment in the centre of town. Wonderful location, very private and spacious. I was immediately delighted with the apartment. Everything was fresh and modern and clean. Lovely balcony over a private court yard. Good supermarkets and restaurants close by. 6thGreat value for money. San Jose can be a bit scary but this place felt very private and safe.

It took me ages to work out where the hotel was Absolutely no signage but google kept.telling me I was in the right place. Took a while to contact reception,.meantime the taxi was ticking over as the driver didn't want.to leave.me in the pouring rain. In the end I was so happy with the apartment this didn't matter, just be aware you are looking for 1333 a white door with squares on it. I'll post a picture. Kitchen equipment a bit light on if you are planning on cooking.

Staying at Cando Living Apartments was great. It was refreshing to stay in a property that didn't have doors slamming or loud conversations at all hours of the day. The location was good, practically next door were two supermarkets, which were well-stocked with just about anything you could want, a bakery that had the best pastries, and with a short walk you could find just about anything else food-wise or clothing-wise. They are located directly across from the Jade Museum and within walking distance to the National Museum and all the other historical sites to see in San Jose. The room itself was "no-frills", very spacious, very clean with a good air conditioner that kept the room comfortable all the time. The cleaning staff was very thoughtful, I brought my lap-top and was using the kitchen counter for a desk since there wasn't one or an outlet to plug it into on the breakfast island (at least not that I could see), I had gone out for a sightseeing walk and upon my return they had given me a small computer desk to work from. Just about anything you may need they would get it for you. Most of my interaction was with Mario who took the time and answered any questions that I had.

We arrived two hours before the check in time (which is 3 pm) and we’re told to wait even though our room was empty and already cleaned at the time. The person at the reception did not offer to check if the room was ready.

Helpful staff and a central location near a number of sights and museum. Lovely patio. Some rooms have views of the patio or Jade Museum. Lighting at the table was excellent.

Some rooms only have frosted windows opening to the hall. The room was very sparsely furnished and the couch was too low. Comfortable chairs would have good as there were only stools for the table. I didn't care for the ladder leading to the loft. These are basically suggestions for improvement. I'll be coming back in a couple of weeks, but to a single-level room with a garden view.

The inner area was peaceful and tranquil great outside lounge area to relax. wifi was great. It’s super quiet and no real noise at all from the exterior street, the rooms were well appointed with a simple yet effective set up. The bed was comfortable with quality bedding. Super close to all the great museums and the local market, restaurants and cafes and very secure. Not to far from the airport in terms of early morning flights to best the traffic. Staff are super helpful and available onsite I had some issues with the payment link prior to arriving and they were really flexible and helpful, which was indicative of how the staff are all the time! If you need anything you only have to ask etc it’s perfect for an over night stay or a couple of days to check out the main museums and areas of prominence in San Jose.

Nothing really - the aircon was a small evaporative portable one which struggled a little - given it was quite cool in the evenings and the floors are polished concrete, I stopped using it.

Location was v good,clean room staff were very pleasant and helpful! i would go back!

TV didnt work!! Also would be helpful to know on arrival where to put the garbage.

This is the third time I've stayed here, so that's something of an endorsement. The location is within easy walking distance of popular sights. The staff is friendly and helpful. The interior garden is lovely. The rooms vary, some with garden views and some not, some with a loft and others not, some with air conditioning and others not. Choose a room that suits you if these matter. It's a mid-level hotel in a newly repurposed building, and although not luxurious, it's a good value, welcoming, and has everything you need. NOTE: Read the information supplied with your reservation since the hotel, although directly across from the Jade Museum, lacks external signage.

The last time I stayed, they were working the bugs out of the newly installed gate in the entrance hallway. Hopefully this has been resolved so that the staff no longer has to get involved admitting guests.

Great central location in San Jose, close to good food and main attractions. The courtyard in the middle is like a beautiful quiet oasis, and protects from the noises of the street. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfy. Everything was well-equipped. The reception is also staffed 24/7 for anything you need, and they are so friendly and helpful with everything. Wifi was also great if you need to work.

The doors to the rooms are clear glass, so you do need to close the blinds if you want privacy. The doors are also the only windows into the rooms, so closing the blinds also blocks out any natural sunlight.

The location is perfect. It is close to everything . Within 5 minutes walk there are 3 museums. 30 minutes walk to the zoo. 20 minutes walk to the Tuasa Bus station that take you to and from the airport. The staff was helpful. The apartment has everything. I reheated my meals twice. Inside the hotel is a true oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the street . There was two water dispensers . If I return to San José I would definitely stay there again.

I don’t like to pay using a link in advance even though it is refundable up to a point. None of my other 4 hotels that I stayed in in Costa Rics required advance payment. They always pay later. Don’t worry about it. San José is noisy with trains using their very horns starting at 4:30 am until 9:30 pm. The WiFi is so so No daily empty of garbage.

Arriving was a little confusing, the entrance is a white door, without any mention of the place. You ring at the door and they let you in. However, when we arrived no one answered the door or a phone call. This must've been a fluke since they should always be there 24/7, and 10 minutes later someone responded to a phone call and let us in. However this isn't pleasant when you arrive in a new area standing on the street with your lugagge and are unsure if you are even at the right place since there was no sign or anything.
