Our experience at this hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who proved to be kind, considerate, and always ready to assist us. The suite bedroom surpassed our expectations with its spaciousness and comfort, featuring two large beds and a luxurious bathroom with a separate toilet room. We were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding vegan dishes at the restaurant, which delighted our taste buds. Chef Denis, in particular, impressed us with his generosity in sharing one of his finest recipes. When we return to San Jose, Urban Green will undoubtedly be our top choice. Just a small suggestion for the management—increasing the variety of fruits and the quantity, especially pineapple, for breakfast would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

The cleaning staff and maintenance team were very kind and helpful. I want to specifically thank Luis from maintenance for going the extra mile to be helpful.

When I first got to the room the AC, bathroom sink and coffee maker were all not working correctly. Luis did fix them all very quickly. Also, not the fault of the cleaning staff but the person who was in the room before me was a shedder. His body hair kept turning up- not in the sheets or towels but just randomly on the floor.

The front desk manager helped with the lack of internet. Finally they rebooted their routers after much insisting.

Window outside to entrance even though I requested a quiet room. The people stand (taxis, ubers, tour busses, etc.) right out front and talk loudly late into the night. The hotel needs an upgrade as it is obvious it is old and out dated.

The rooms during our second stay were (for some reason, I can't really pinpoint why) nicer and more modern that our first stay. Nice beds, nice bathrooms and they cleaned every other day. The staff were really friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. Check in and check out was really easy. The perfect hotel in San José for when you just got to/are just about to leave Costa Rica. It's fairly close to the airport by taxi. The perfect place for relaxing in your room or by the pool. The location is a little off, so it takes about 15-20 minutes by car to get into the city, so it's not the best place to stay if you want easy access to clubs and bars. However, if you want a calm stay in the beginning or end of your trip to Costa Rica, I would absolutely recommend this hotel. There is also a Pizzahut and a Rosti Pollo right next to the hotel, so you always have access to food with less than a minutes walking distance.

Everyone in the property was exceptionally helpfully attentive to my needs. Our family was quarantined for ten days and from the moment we arrived every need was meet. I was treated like family. All our meals were delivered to our room three to four time a day. Janiva and Jennifer always made sure that I didn’t forget my breakfast every morning. Our room didn’t have a refrigerator so at least three to four times a day I would get bags of ice for my husbands medication that required refrigeration. Our family will never forget how much everyone took a moment from their time to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Thank you Quality Hotel.

Lack of refrigerator in rooms.

Very comfortable bed, clean, AC worked well, warm washer and good washer pressure. The stuff is very nice and the food in the restaurant was very good as well.

At the pool there is a lot of traffic noise because it is beside the motorway. If you don’t have a car the location is maybe not ideal. 25$ For a taxi from the airport

I miss the pre-covid buffet breakfast. Love the location and the hotel.

Reception Lost the reservation from booking. Then insisted it was only one night. Then gave us keys for one night. Next night it took three trips to reception to get a key that would work. Reception suggested checking out and changing rooms.Then at check out they refused to give me a factura electronica for the 3 night stay!!!

Perfect location, besides the hotel restaurant there are 3 more on the property. We went to "IL padrino", great food and service. Unfortunately no time for breakfast, which we were told, is very good. Definitely coming back.

The breakfasts were superb.

The device in the bathroom that shifts the water from into the tub to the shower was balky and often did not work. Very irritating/
