We stayed here the night before an early morning flight - family or 4 with kids aged 12 & 14 Let’s be clear - the hotel needs some work, it looks tired in places but for us it was just what we needed. We had an upgraded room with plenty of room, coffee and teak making and a microwave. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool and hot pools, The pool table (even though it needs new cues) and the games tables. We ate in the Pirates bar - food not expensive and just acceptable. We used free shuttle to airport. Very good.

Work is obviously going on but it does appear to have been a bit neglected.

Location is perfect for day before or after travel - literally minutes from the airport and not too challenging to get to (San Jose driving is pretty darn challenging in general fyi). Very clean and comfortable with great bathrooms and showers! Good sized rooms. This seems to be a combination of 2 or 3 hotels merged into one and we stayed twice in the same area so I cant speak to the rooms in the other areas but assume they are generally the same. Two different pools that looked beautiful tho we weret able to spend time there. Good experience overall!

The restaurant was actually only a bar, closes early so if you are flying in at night dont necessarily expect to get to eat (no room service) so eat before you get to the hotel. Uber Eats, etc were so hard to get to work we gave up and went to McDonalds (UGH). We did eat at the restaurant on the night we stayed before we flew out in the morning. The food was fine but not many choices. The lack of good food options is is their biggest downfall in my opinion.

Room was very comfortable, beds amazing. Pool area is very beautiful, you can enjoy a great time. My family had perfect relaxing time. Staff is polite and friendly! Price was perfect!

The second day, kid’s pool had many leaves, some insects and sort of black dirt. Maybe because pf The rain the night before, but could have been cleaned in the morning. PS: Not affecting our stay at all, but would like to share. Hotel is great, space, areas, design. Structured is a bit old, It could have some remodeling for the future.

A very nice and very large hotel. Outdoor spaces were excellent. Dinner was a great value and good food. Breakfast also (included with our room). The facility is a bit dated, and not at the same level as some other Intercontinental Hotels I have been at. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was a great value, easy access to the airport and despite some issues with the key machine, I had a pleasant stay.

Key problems had the bellman running all over to let guests into their rooms.

Some of the building was in disrepair, although our room was nice. I would have liked free continental breakfast.

Breakfast and restaurants not so good, cold selection at breakfast good, hot selection, no choice, only gallo pinto, scrambled eggs and overcooked greasy hard hash browns. Could do with more choice to cater for the tastes of international travellers, restaurants no choice and serve equivalent of ‘fast food’

The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean. the grounds were undergoing some renovations and the pool was not ready for swimming. but the gardens and landscape design was beautiful with many plants and flowers. the food was delicious and the bathroom was spacious.

Different stuff for different people like; swimming pools, tables with different games, several hot tubs, bar, casino, store and restaurant. All in one location. Supermarket within walking distance and the complimentary airpor/hotel shuttle bus service.

No microwave in room, dangerous uncover holes in few of the hot tubs floor.

A great location for day trips to visit attractions. The outdoor hot tubs and the other swimming pools. The games area. The rooms were comfortable with a jacuzzi bath. It also had free popcorn, bars, food/eatery area and a souvenirs shop.

It was a bit run down with blue taped off patches with leaking areas in the entrance.
