El Coco is perfect for a stop over on your way to other locations in Costa Rica. It is close to the airport and the staff will give you a very warm welcome and do anything they can to make your stay pleasant. The room are small and basic but very clean. Some has shared bath rooms and some are without windows. there are supermarkets and a couple of small resturants nearby. You can also get take away delivered and eat in the foyer of the hotel. Breakfast is great from 6:30 onwards. if you need to leave at 7am make sure to make the staff aware so your breakfast is ready for you. Recommended!

The staff were great and put up with my abysmal Spanish with kindness, free breakfast was really good, room was clean and tidy, AC was nice and cold. I got in late from my flight and they waited for me til I arrived at 11pm (instead of 9).
It was hard for me to find. But it was my first night in Costa Rica and the darkness and lack of a full street address confused me. So probably more my fault and the sign was big enough and well lit.

We only spent a few hours there for a shower, a quick nap and to sort out our stuff before our flight. the room was clean, the staff was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly.

Small hotel near the airport, near car rental agencies. We left at night for a bus so didnt have the chance to eat breakfast. Shower was good. Nice hosts.

We had a really nice stay at hotel el coco. The room was so nice and clean, and the bathroom was very good to. Further more the staff was so nice and welcoming, and helped us a lot. Can really recommend!
