Apartments Polynesia Plava Laguna

It is a big Apartment complex with a lot of facilities. We had a great time with 12 family members. The staff ensured that we were in the same house and even provided some free upgrades, as some apartments were not ready when we arrived. There are different beaches sandy, rocky, or concrete (for whatever reason), and a big pool in the complex. There is a "bus-train" service to the old town with great options to eat some Croatian-Italian food.

Our rooms were a bit worn down but that was expected based on the price. Overall price per value was great and we enjoyed our stay in Croatia.

I keep coming back to Apartments Polynesia Plava Laguna, since I really enjoy the atmosphere of the place. Before this visit, I was last there in 2019, before the covid hysteria. This year we got an apartman at a relatively quiet area, so nobody bothered us at all. The beach area had not changed at all since we were there last time, we again liked to relax there each day. Unfortunately, we saw much less squirrels running around the pine trees than earlier, seagulls seem to have taken the lead... All in all, Apartments Polynesia Plava Laguna is still a very enjoyable place and we will definitely be back again!

It was kind of strange that we did not see any of the cleaning staff for 5 days. Fortunately, we did not run out of clean towels and we were able to mop up the bathroom and kitchen floor, but it was not very pleasing.

Excellent location and amenities! The pool is enormous and we didn't find it at all crowded (busy yes, but space for everyone) despite peak August dates. Beach access was also huge and offered a variety of options such as pebbled beaches, cement walkway/stairs, stony outcrops, and all had shady areas near by. Everyone could find their own "private" spot and in the beach style they preferred. Cafe prices for drinks and snacks were reasonable, and the little independent bakery on site was an exceptional value. Even the water sport prices were fair and not inflated despite the location and peak season. Our apartment, the most budget option available, was spacious and clean. Kitchen facilities were basic but enough, and our towels were even changed for clean ones midway.

Our only minor complaint was the noise from other apartments, but compared to a campsite and all its noises, there was nothing out of the ordinary, just general proximity of (smoking) neighbors. There was also a daily competition for the (free!) sun loungers at the pool, where people threw towels on chairs to reserve them at opening time (8:00am) and didn't show up at the pool until hours later, but again, this was a minor inconvenience and the option for free chairs poolside is a generous perk anyway. Looks like our only complaints were other people, not the accommodation or facilities!

Parking is right below the house so you can see the car all the time. Apartment is pretty big for 2 people, has a nice balcony, enough kitchenware to cook, bathroom is also nice. Close to the seaside, a lot of amneties and entertainment in the camp.

It is close to the seaside but it is a hilly walk. No AC so it was really cold in the apartment. I think it might also get hot during the summer. Double bed consisted of two smaller beds put together so there was a hole between the matresses.

.Apartment, location, sea, pool and kids club. Entertainment team for kids was excellent! Working hard to look after kids and keep them happy. My daughter loved them all. Than you team! This year we were happy with fridge and cooker. Sea and beach as usual very good..

Sofa beds in our apartment were too hard to sleep on. Pool toilets are too small and even they are being cleaned few times a day, the outdoor and cleanliness is were poor. Use more bleach! Pool was bit dirty but after week it was cleaned so overall not too bad. This was our second year and little bit disappointed that evening program was exactly same as last year. Could do with some changes

We have been to your resort for the fourth time. We are usually satisfied with the amenities. This year we were lucky to have neighbours who were not noisy (like last year).

In the kitchen they are missing a kettle or wine glasses. We were sorry that this year we were given apartment 643 close to the main road and were disturbed by the noise of passing cars at night and in the morning.

I paid econom price and with accordance with this totally happy: big room, balkony, a lot of space in bathroom, usfull kitchen...parking just step from the door, 3 minetes by foot from nice beach, 2 great filled market in 2 minutes by foot.

For this price only idiot will not be successful finding the minuses: functional of the apartment is more bigger as you pay. There are some defects, but this is only cosmetic value.

It was easy and quick. Parking is almost beside the property, easy access, near the beach and pool, and lots of activities (bowling, mini golf, adventure park, not far away mini skate playground, water park in the summer, mini "train" rides to the city, tennis...we did not have the time to explore more) It needs some update/replace one or two furniture pieces but else it is retro ;) adventure. Old windows, no wi-fee at the property, old retro TV; did not have the time to check the program. ;)

They could spare a minute more for info or two more. We had a rainy day and at reception, they were very polite but they did not know to answer us what we could do with 6 and 8-year-old kids, where to go, what to explore nearby - I expected them to advise indoor poll and maybe a trip (maybe at the cave that is 45 minutes drive away).

Everything was ok, even if its old, we had a good time. The kitchen needs more cookong equipment. It's not like we're masterchefs, but it would be nice to have a knife or a ladle 😁 The stove is so old, that you dont know on what power and on what position you are cooking. The bathroom is also (too) old... But for the price we paid, it was ok 🤣

The accommodation is nice, the rooms are cooler in May, but only before the sun warms them. The rooms are clean. Kitchen with dishes. Shop, bakery included in the camp.

Unfortunately, you don't get to choose your neighbors. A lot of young drunked people who play loud music and lighting firecrackers under the windows during night.
