We loved the area, a quiet nice neighborhood near Jarun lake.The hotel is newly built.Opposite there is a park and close there are some restaurants,bars and café. The tram station is very near.The hotel staff was excellent, very professional and helpful with everything we needed.The receptionists recommended very good restaurants,made reservations for us and even arranged to have breakfast very early in the morning.The room was spacious and comfortable, beautifully decorated.The bed mattress was the best I ever slept in!

Staff are very friendly and helpful.

We read on the website that breakfast was included, the same as it was last time I stayed there. However, on check out we found that we had to pay. It was a substantial breakfast and not really expensive but not what we thought was advertised. We also saw on the website that if we spent over 90 Euros the cost of a taxi to the airport (in our case, the bus station) was also included. The taxi driver told us that he had been working with your hotel for seven years and every passenger had paid. Once again, not expensive, just the principle of the matter.

This is a sweet little hotel, in a great neighborhood made for walking. The tram station is near, few minutes walking, and there are many coffee shops, stores and restaurants around. We ate at Namaste, Indian restaurant, 25 minutes walk from the hotel, and it was by far the best meal we had in any Indian restaurants in several countries. But back to the hotel - what makes this hotel great is the staff working there. They are super kind and polite, and even agreed to change dates on our reservation, although it was non-refundable deal. Reception, breakfast staff, all were wonderful. The room was pretty small, but it was perfectly clean. We would definitely return.

Very friendly receptionist who - after realizing our request for two neighbouring rooms could not be fulfilled - offered us free drinks in the bar. The breakfast was great.

The remote controls were not too attractive-looking. The room temperature was set to 26 (!) degrees by default and there is no way to regulate it within the room, though the receptionist set it to 21 for us after having asked for it. The pillows were a tad too hard for our taste. In the early morning on a Saturday, there was construction work going on right next door to the hotel that woke us up. Overall, these are minor annoyances.

Best rate and reliable reviews. The hotel is a 3-star but the reviewers' rating is wonderful. Reception staff Mate, Jozeph & Taia were very friendly & helpful. Mate, in particular, was extremely helpful in finding places we like to see and he actually prepared a list with names/ location/ brief discerption/ directions. Thank you Mate. Breakfast was very delicious with fresh fruits/ veg, great variety of nicely cooked local food, in addition to tea/ coffee/ cold drinks. Thank you all.

We wished if the hotel a bit nearer to the City Centre.

Staff in the hotel are super friendly and helpful (applies to all, reception, restaurant, cleaning). Rooms are comfortable, large and equipped with all accessories you might need, including super-sized TV. Hotel location is perfect for those travelling via Zagreb, but want to stay there for a few days and do not need to be in the city center. Fair and objective value for money ratio. I would highly recommend Hotel Jarun for your stay in Zagreb. P.S. I hope they will not increase their prices after this review 😉

Unstable internet connection in my room (407), and I had a bad luck of sharing a wall (which seemed to be made of paper) against a room with people who tend to be quite active while rehearsing yelling & screaming concert way past 11PM. Nevertheless, I truly enjoyed my stay and Hotel Jadran will definitely be my first choice when visiting Zagreb in the future

Good location for getting a tram into the city. Easy to find on the edge of the city. Friendly welcoming and helpful staff. The rooms were spacious with air conditioning. Breakfast was included and there was a very each morning, cold meats, cheese, fresh fruit, yoghurts, juice and hot drinks to mention just a few.

Breakfast drinks and food could be hotter.

Their breakfast was delicious. The staff were extremely helpful in phoning to see if any places were available near at hand for COVID testing on a Sunday and when not, they recommended Bolt as way to save money going to and from airport. They remembered the breakfast box we had mentioned two days prior and had it ready when we left 4 am for our flight the next day.

Even though the location is not as fancy, the hotel is stylish and elegant. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of fresh breakfast food, cold cuts, eggs, fruit, pancakes and more in a beautiful setting! Everything was clean and neat, we also enjoyed a comfortable checkout time (at 11am).

No complaints!

The decor of the hotel is modern and the room spacious with a large TV that is also an information board (just as the pictures). Most exceptional was the staff, everyone was pleasant and seemed to be happy to go an extra mile for the guest if needed. We loved the generous breakfast that we had delivered in our room, and to make the stay even more special we got a Christmas gift when checking out which was a lovely unexpected gesture. The area of the city is lovely with a market and a store just 3 minutes walk.
