River Rock Hotel

We received rooms in another hotel next to River Rock wich they have collaboration. we paid for River Rock. is not mentioned on their Booking page about this. so, is not fair play. the other hotel was ok anyway.

Breakfast was great, staff were very friendly and location meant easy access to anywhere, the main strip 5 min walk or beach 5-10 minutes

Location - perfect! 400 meters to the left of the hotel is the Sculpture Park and the Bridge of Love. 400 meters to the right of the hotel is the center (Ayia Napa square, Monastery, cafes, taverns...). As for the beaches, you can reach Nissi and Makronissos by bus in 15-20 minutes. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. The city beach, which is also beautiful, is a 5-6 minute walk away. I recommend Kaliva beach bar. Food - Excellent! The food was excellent. Breakfast was diverse, the food always fresh and very tasty. The rooms are fantastic! The beds are comfortable, the bedding and towels clean. The cleaners tidied the room every day. The staff - friendly and always smiling. Wifi - excellent.

I have no complaints, just two small things I would like to point out for potential improvement. There is no clothes dryer on the balcony. People spread towels and other items over the balcony. There is no lamp beside the bed; instead, there is a very bright wall light that is disturbing to the eyes. Another note for people who enjoy peace and quiet on the terrace... My room was on the first floor, facing the street. The view is beautiful, but it's noisy - the noise comes from traffic (buses, motorcycles..) as well as people sitting in the café on the ground floor of the hotel. When you close the terace door it is okay, you can sleep well. If you think this would bother you, my advice is to request a room overlooking the pool or the garden, definitely not facing the street.

Location, welcoming and smiley receptionists, professional and welcoming services at breakfast and dinner . Excellent housekeeping. My room cleaned almost everyday at the times I was available before 2pm. After 2pm no cleaning but I was happy with their service . Rooms are nice modern and clean .good size balcony.

Breakfast is average. No mushrooms or oven baked tomatoes and mix vegetables.. most of other hotels in ayianapa have them 🙄 dinner is ok,fresh but not many choose... Pool view rooms are too close to the pool. you might feel uncomfortable sitting at the balcony ... Bathroom isn't as big as seen in the pictures. Good size clean gym but not enough equipments☹️ the gym needs some dumbbells and few more machines (shoulder press etc..)

The room was ok. Everything was clean. Breakfast and dinner were ok. It was a nice choice for dinner. They were very kind at the reception. I was afraid that we would end up in another hotel because previous guests had written about it, but luckily for us we were in the hotel we booked.

The hotel is located in the center of the action, so if you are a light sleeper like me, I suggest that you consider another hotel. I lasted in the River, but I didn't rest as I should have because the hotel is in the center of night events. And I didn't like the pillow because it was too hard and too thick, everything else was fine

A modern and stylish hotel, even more spectacular in the evening due to illumination and fountains. Great location near to the center, bus station, supermarkets, shops, port, sculpture park and one of the most beautiful beaches in Ayia Napa - Pantachou and Glyki Nero. The room was nice, clean with a large balcony . Breakfast was very good. The staff are welcoming and helpful.

No bottle of water on arrival. You need to pay extra for the refrigerator and safety deposit box. Small bathroom. Noisy (rooms looking at the main street).

Pros: -Value for money is exceptional (£60 for 2ppl, with breakfast included) - Breakfast was amazing! Great selection, which varied everyday, and vegetarian friendly - Very clean and good facilities - Comfort able Hotel room - Helpful and friendly staff - Convenient location close by to a lot of restaurants and opposite a bus stop for Cap greko and Niss beach

Cons: - loud noise in the morning when the hotel staff get things ready - Gym could do with a few dumbbells

The hotel is very good! It is located near the main street with bars and restaurants (as well as the main bus station - Ayia Napa Square), though it’s not noisy and busy out there. There is a supermarket just in 1 minute walk, where you can buy everything you need at considerably low prices. Moreover, a shop with authentic Cyprus gifts & souvenirs is just in front of the hotel. The most popular Nissi Beach is 45 min walk, however you can find much cozier and not overcrowded beaches closer to the River Rock. It might take 10-20 minutes walk. We had a room with a pool view (inner courtyard) so it was almost quite at nights, the music from the hotel bar was almost inaudible. We really liked the pool, too - it was always clean, water temperature was just fine, there were enough sun beds and umbrellas. Special thanks for breakfasts! They offer a good range of dishes, including freshly baked waffles, pancakes, and croissants. A coffee machine makes around 6 standard types of coffee which are not bad actually. And we were also given UK-EU plug adapter for our devices, this was definitely a nice touch :)

Although the overall expression is really good, I would suggest to improve 2 things: internet connection in the rooms (near the pool and in the dining area/bar it worked great but our room had no access to wifi) and plumbing (the water didn’t flow out of the bathroom sink well)

Stunning modern hotel in a fantastic location just 5 minutes from restaurants, bars and the strip and with two bus stops which take you to Nissi Beach (Bus 102) and Protaras (Bus 101) just metres away from this excellent hotel. The staff are lovely and couldn’t do enough to make my stay perfect. The rooms are modern, clean with gorgeous bathrooms with a spacious shower. This hotel is the perfect base to explore Ayia Napa.

We have been very pleased with this hotel. The rooms were cleaned every day and once every 2 days the towels are changed. Breakfast and dinner was very varied and the food was tasty and very well diversified. The hotel is located very close to the centre, bus stops and relatively close to the port. We will certainly return to this location again.

The pillows were very big and we requested another. Unfortunately the pillows we received were the same, but that depends on how everyone is used to sleep.
