June 2023

Stayed in mid June 2023. A beautiful hotel, with beautifully landscaped grounds, it was kept spotlessly clean and the service by the incredibly friendly and welcoming team could not have been better. It's in an exceptional location, which, from our travels in the nearby region, is right on one of the most lovely beaches. The breakfast was a fabulous, very extensive buffet each morning, taken on the terrace with the most beautiful views of the bay. The beach is small pebble shingle, which we actually preferred to sand as it doesn't stick everywhere, and the water is calm and crystal clear. Parasols and sun loungers are payable locally and there is also a lovely taverna/fish restaurant right on the beach. The area is peaceful and perfect for hiking, swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. Car hire is a must, although there is a bus service very close by, to make the most of the area and there's lots to explore nearby with very easy driving. Lots and lots of fantastic places to eat locally (including at the hotel and within walking distance) and within a 20 min drive. Oh and there are lots of cats, cared for by the hotel, which for us was the icing on the cake :-) Plus Clara, the hotel's own dog. Equally good for couples, families and groups of friends looking for absolutely stunning natural environment, far from any night clubs (although there are more lively cocktail bars etc in nearby Latchi) and a really really well run family hotel with modern, tasteful and spacious rooms. Room cleaning and beds made daily...and did I mention that breakfast?! Nothing too much trouble from the family who run it and their great team.We would absolutely return, it was a wrench to leave.

Nothing! Couldn't fault it

Especially the location of the hotel struck us positively from the beginning. Directly at the Akamas National Park, close to nature. Very beautifully designed grounds with garden (from which even tea, figs, honey and homemade jams are offered at breakfast). The directly adjacent beach is simply beautiful! Great water and not very touristy, even trees that provide shade. Our room was large and the cleanliness good. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Comfortable bed, modern bathroom with ample facilities to hang wet towels. Breakfast was of good quality with sufficient choice. There was even homemade lemonade and jams. The prices on the menu and for the buffet in the evening are reasonable and not overpriced. The staff are really exceptionally friendly and the hotel dog and stray cats very cute! All in all, a very special, friendly hotel with excellent price! The nicest we had on the whole island.

Eveything was fine!

I rarely leave reviews like this. I am a 61 year old world traveler, and I was traveling by myself to Latchi. Without a car!! Aphrodite beach hotel was a fantastic place for me to choose! The complementary breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had in all of my stays throughout Europe (a full buffet with so lovely many options). The restaurant also had fantastic food for lunch and dinner. There is wonderful beach right in front of the hotel, a bus that takes you to (and back from)the Litchi port, or to Polis every hour). Believe it or not, I even had some work Zoom calls back to the US that I had to take an evening and the wife I worked perfectly. My room is clean, had a lovely balcony with a view of the sea. The best part of the hotel was the staff. The hotel manager/owner, Gregoria, and her son Yiannis were so welcoming and helpful (for example, they arranged my taxis, help me navigate the bus system, gave me information about the tours to the Blue Lagoon, they helped me figure out how to catch the right buses to get back to Limassol!). The wait stuff in the housekeeping team were so gracious and kind. All of this for a very reasonable price! I can’t recommend this place enough!

Not a thing!

Great place to stay. Very nice quiet rooms with superb sea view. There were some baybies next door but we almost could not here them. Super nice and helpfull reception stuff. It was a pity that we've spent only two nights in hotel. Highly recomended value for money hotel. The only thing missing is a swimming pool ;) but in march we wouldn't use it anyway.

It is hard to find anything which can be disatvange but if i have to only thing which may be added here is air circulation in bathroom, despite electric fan mounted humid stays there quite long. It's not a big deal but it exist.

Very nice, really clean, cozy room with a balcony and amazing view, close to the beach. A delicious breakfast and the possibility to order tasty meals A la Carte during the whole day. Kind, pleasant and very smiling staff.

It would be great if they had a swimming pool, as the beach front there is very pebbly and you have to pay to use the sun beds and beach umbrella.

The hotel is pretty well maintained and one wing looks renovated recently. Loved the green areas and the few dogs running around (seems they are supporting rescues, so that's a plus for me). The staff was very welcoming and kind. We even got a small upgrade, since our room had an issue. The news room was lovely and had almost everything needed. Breakfast was pretty good too.

Few small things could be improved in the room, like adding a water kettle and few extra glasses (we only had 2). A choice of pillows would be nice. More light in the bathroom too, or a vanity mirror. They're all a small cost, but could make a big impact. One thing I really did not appreciate were the cribs that were stored in the corridors and used by the cleaning staff to pile up dirty laundry. I don't have kids, so it did not affect me. But I don't want to imagine a child sleeping in one of those.

Very lovely hotel, homely feeling. The room, seaview studio, has everything what to expect for a relaxing vacation, ,a good size and well isolated rooms and veranda with a real seaview. All stuff friendly, really good breakfast and even better dinner buffee from fresh local ingredients, polite and quick serving. Several good beaches right above the hotel, nice garden area with some hens rooming around. Thank You for having us and surely like to visit again.

The standard rooms have a little bit grampy feeling. The evening buffee could have the soft drinks and tea and coffee included. The hotel is situated on the skirts of national park and has been lovely to get some information about the hiking routes and activities nearby. There should be couple glasses and cups in the room and the menu list and timetable as well, but you get these ones quickly, just you have to ask.

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Aphrodite Beach Hotel and would be very happy to return. All the staff we met were very friendly, our room was comfortable with a mattress which we both slept well on and had both A/C and a powerful ceiling fan. The bathroom was good too and the view of Chrysochou bay towards Pomos was super. There was plenty of choice at breakfast - juices, cereal, cooked items (bacon, eggs, beans, omelette, veggies), cold cuts, cheeses, olives, yoghurt, several types of bread including lovely rolls and although the coffee was machine produced, we liked it. There was something here to satisfy all but the pickiest eaters and the view from the terrace is really stunning. There is plenty of parking (free) and the beach below the hotel is pebbly but beautiful - there are a few steps to negotiate to get to it but it's not far to it. There is a bus stop close to the hotel which goes from/to Polis to the Baths of Aphrodite via Latchi. From Polis main bus station one can venture further afield within the Paphos District.

Nothing much - coffee/tea facilities within the room would be a nice touch. The shower was not very powerful. Overall, we were very happy.

It is a perfect stay for hike lovers as it is minutes away from really great hiking place Trails of Aphrodite in Akamas. The hotel has it's vibe with super-extra clean rooms, looking very modern with it's rooms like big bathroom, clean area, very nice reception. For clean place lovers it is a gem and for the price they offer. The hotel is distinguished of their own vegetables and fruit growing that are given for breakfast and dinner I guess. So they have own garden of veggies and fruits that are used for food preparation. In the modern setup you will see many cats and chickens running around. Keep in mind, you will have to deal the food with cats as once you bring the food for breakfast they all gather around expecting to get something from you. Once you give it, they will never leave you alone - all this setup has it's vibe obviously :) To sum up, great location, breakfast will not leave your stomach empty, super clean rooms, clean environment, I would say even sterile, home grown fruits and veggies - so you get more than you expect for the price, access to the beach in 1 minute. Enjoy the stay!

There is nothing bad to say!

I had no pre-information nor expectations because it was just one of the few places open during the low season. However, what I found over there was absolutely amazing, starting from the staff and ending with the room, the view, the surroundings, the breakfast ...and here I need to mention once again the view because this breakfast was not only tasty and served with a super friendly manner but also eaten while enjoying the most beautiful view. ♡ This entire place and the family who is running this hotel is something special in so many ways :) Therefore yes, I highly recommend :) Thank you for everything and see you again!
