The room was more than I expected, as it included a kitchenette--fridge, cooktop, dishes, kettle, etc. The room was like a student dorm. The furniture was new--functional, clean, durable. Bathroom was functional and clean. There is a small private hallway that includes a full closet. This could be a good long-term rental as well. Location is in the old town on one end. Given the price and location, this room was a great deal. Also, the staff was helpful, friendly, and spoke great English. TV channels were mostly in Czech, with a few in German. My room also had a nice view of St. Wenceslas cathedral, which is just around the corner.

The main negative thing about the room was the temperature/noise situation. The hotel is wedged between two busy streets, with bars on both sides, so there will be noise from conversation and cars into the early morning. If it's hot in the summer, which it is, you'll have to open the window, due to the lack of air conditioning, which means you'll hear all that and sleep poorly. Additionally, you'll hear the church bells, which aren't as annoying, but which are loud. I know AC costs money to install and operate, but I think the hotel would do better to install it and charge a little more. Another couple small things: the assortment of dishes needs both a lid to the pots/pans, and a genuine coffee cup or two (with a handle). Also, the room could use a safe.

I really enjoyed my stay in Hotel Palác. It is an excellently located decent three star hotel. It is just a few minutes by tram away from the bus and train stations (the tram stop is just a few steps away from the hotel) and you can comfortably walk to the centre of Olomouc. You will find everything you need right next to the hotel - a grocery store, nice cafes/restaurants/pubs, ATMs etc., hotel also sells some basic refreshments such as beer or wine, and there is a vending machine in the ground floor. What I was really surprised by was the size of my room and the quality of equipment - it is mentioned in the hotel profile that it was refurbished in 2011, but my room, corridors, or a dining room looked like they were remade yesterday. If you, same as I, tend to dislike "claustrophobic" hotels with tiny rooms and narrow corridors, then Hotel Palác is your choice! Plenty of room, light, and everything was sparkling clean. The staff was excellent and very approachable. The breakfast was of a good standard/quality, too.

The reception only works from 7:00 to 22:00, and as I was a late arrival, this was a small source of stress for me. I however called the hotel upfront and they gave me clear instructions what to do and how to check in in case my bus goes late (which thankfully did not happen).

The room is big and cheap. It is nice there is a stove there and a fridge. It is close to the trainstation but in the center. I had a double room, so it is nice that it came with a couch and armchairs.

The breakfast could have had more choices, the juices were watered down, the TV only has Czech stations. They do not give body lotion for the batheroom. there is no plug for electronics near the table so I had to move the table and also the table is low for writing -- it is not a work table.

The room was spacious and clean. The furnishings were fresh and straightforward. Beds might be a bit firm for some but were perfect for me. The small kitchen area might be useful to some but not used by ourselves. On holiday we like to try local restaurants. Trams pass the hotel travelling between the railway station to the city centre. We walked though, enjoying the town itself. Moments away from lovely parks and the botanic garden which sit at the food of the town walls. We would happily visit again. Wonderfully warm welcome by friendly efficient staff. Excellent value for money.

The hotel is very elegant-looking inside and meshes well with Olomouc's luxurious city center. The location is perfect for those who want to see the Saint Wenceslas Cathedral, which is just around the corner. Breakfast was very good; although the breakfast was not included with the room, I'd recommend paying for the breakfast as it is worth the reasonable price.

The room itself was not bad, but rather spare and modern compared to the luxurious lobby and hallways of the hotel. It seems that they turn off the heating at night, which means that it gets cold if you're not constantly under the blankets. Also, Olomouc is something of a "party town" for young people, and the noise they make on the street late into the night does carry pretty well into the hotel rooms.

The hotel is located in the very heart of Olomouc with an easy access to bars and shops and all the main historical sites. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed for our short stay, a fridge and a kettle including. The staff were very friendly and helpful and speaking a very good English. We liked the breakfast as well as it was tasty and offered a variety of products to choose from.

The hotel decor and furnishing were quite basic. The AC was only in one of the bedrooms.

Hotel is located on the edge of old part of the city, so you can explore both 'old' and 'new' parts. It also give an option to park a car in the free parking zone and do not pay for the parking if you don't mind walking 5 minutes. Rooms were okay and quiet. We had two triple rooms, in of them there were no key to lock the bathroom, but this is minor. There was a small kitchen with some equipment that we didn't use at all, so cannot comment more ion it. Breakfast was good with different meal options. Overall, fully worth the price and I'd stay here again next time. As a bonus - we were asked how many keys we would like to get for each room.

The hotel is situated only 3 tram stops from the main railway station near the most important sights - St. Wenceslas Cathedral and Archbishop´s Palace can be reached in 2 minutes, the main square is 3 stops by tram (or a 10-minute walk). The room was large with a kitchenette, the bathroom had everything you might need. Good breakfast between 7 and 10 o´clock.

There was no AC in the room, a fan would be nice on a hot day (which wasn´t our case). I´d appreciate beans at breakfast. The hotel only has one lift, but it was no problem to climb the comfortable stairs. Nothing else I can think of.

The breakfast was very nice with a choice which varied daily. Good choice to take breakfast here. The location of the hotel is just at the entrance to the old city, only 10 minutes walking distance anywhere in the old city. Also on the way to the train station. Hotel has a lower number of double bed rooms, most are separated beds. So it is advisable to communicate with the hotel your preference beforehand. Stay recommended.
