Wenceslas Square Hotel - Czech Leading Hotels

The location, room and breakfast are all very good, and the service is very satisfying! Location：It is located opposite the National Museum. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Astronomical Clock and the railway station, and it takes 20 minutes to reach the Charles Bridge. Traveling in the evening and morning can avoid the crowds of tourists. Room：I live in a room with a bathtub and floor-to-ceiling windows on the fifth floor. It is very quiet at night and there is no street noise. The room is clean and tidy. The view is amazing! Exceeded expectations! Breakfast: hot and cold options, usually eggs sausage and hot vegetables or rice and pasta, and cold options with a variety of salads, cheese, and ham. Cereal, bread, snacks, yogurt, drinks, fruits are also very rich, and there are many choices. Service: The front desk is very friendly and the service is very considerate, especially thanks to them for their help.Special thanks to tatiana for her helpSince I didn't specify the type of room I wanted, Tatiana arranged for me to change the room. The service staff pays great attention to the feedback of the guests and is doing their best to do their best. If you have any questions, just contact the service staff, and they will definitely help you solve them.

What I mentioned below are not the shortcomings of the hotel, but should pay attention to confirm before arriving at the hotel.There are two other points to note: 1. If you book a room type「dulexe double room with prague castle view」and want a room with a bathtub and floor-to-ceiling windows, you need to contact the hotel in advance to mark the room with a bathtub you want. 2. The room facing the museum side faces a main road with a lot of traffic. People who are sensitive to sound, please contact the hotel when booking to choose a room that is not close to the side of the road.

The location is very nice and very central. From our window we directly looked at the beautiful national museum and it is only ~50 m by foot to the popular Wencelas square. Also other highlights like the Charles bridge or the rotating head of Kafka can be reached easily by foot within less ~25 minutes. The next metro station is also less than 50m away and the next tram station only ~8 minutes by foot. The staff was very nice and kind at all times. Special thanks for Tatiana at this point. We really appreciated the warm welcome and kind words. As a welcome a bottle of wine was waiting in our room and we got another one for the last evening with a nice personal card. Very cool! The rooftop bar is not easy to find (staff helped out) but offers a stunning view over Prague and especially sunsets can be well enjoyed there. Our room was large, well cleaned and the beds were comfortable. Not the most modern furniture anymore but absolutely sufficient for 4 nights. The breakfast is also very good. The quality of the offered food is good and the variety is very good; for instance there was a variety of vegetables, fruits and cereals.

The bathroom could have been more modern a more comfortable because both basin and shower were very basic. But still not much to complain here. A downside is the noise sensitivity. You can hear every word from the corridor in the room as if the person is standing in the room. The noise transmission from other rooms in contrast is zero so it is complanining on high level. The hotel already offered a fix for this because we already found ear plugs for both of us next to the beds. But even without them the sleeping quality was good during night.

The view of the city was absolutely spectacular as was the hotel atmosphere with its great facilities and convenient location right in the heart of the Prague. The staff was very professional and helpful Tatiana at the front reception desk is a great example, she gave us many great tips on what activities and restaurants are within close proximity, her knowledge of the city really helped us, not to mention her great customer service. Will stay here again in the future and would absolutely recommend to anyone.

We had a fantastic stay, the hotel is a short walk from the old town and a metro station, so we could easily get to the destination of our trip every day. The room was great with a beautiful view of the Prague Castle. The hotel has a rooftop bar so we could enjoy the Prague night panorama while sipping on mulled wine. The hotel serves delivious breakfast. We want to especially thank Tatiana, the hotel manager who was very kind and helpful, she gave us all sorts of good advice, made us feel welcome, upgraded our room just like this and was really dedicated to make our stay the best :) Such dedication is really unique!

The location is great. Just a few minutes from the city center, shops and restaurants are nearby. On the reception Tatiana was super nice and very welcoming. She helped us to park our car in the courtyard and was always ready to help. The room was on the quiet side of the street with a beautiful view on Prague Castle. In the room we had a nice bathtub right next to the full-length window which was awesome! The bed was surprisingly very comfortable and for a very long time I didn't have back pain in the morning. We had a good breakfast buffet.

The width of the entrance to the parking place on courtyard is only 189cm which was just a few cm more than our Nissan Qashqai. Without help from Tatiana from the reception we wouldn't have made it. We also had a chance to take a bath only once and couldn't refresh it with hot water. It seems the boiler couldn't handle that much of heating.

Firstly I’d like to thank all of the staff that were doing an exceptional job in welcoming us and making our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. The hotel is just a few steps away from Wenceslas square and the beautiful Národní museum. It took us around 15minutes to get to the old town square on foot. The hotel was tidy as was our room. Special thanks go out to the two ladies (Daria and Tatyana) at the front desk who left nothing to be desired. Well spoken, friendly, informative and helpful to the last. Me and my wife are looking forward to our next stay.

The hotel is in a great location to explore Prague. The subway and the tram lines are extremely close. It is an old hotel but the facility wasn’t too bad at all, the rooftop bar has an amazing view. My wife and I often travel around Europe and this hotel had the most impressive customer service, hands down! When we had an serious issue, Tatyana was very patient, attentive, and professional! She immmediately took care of it and made us feel very comfortably and happy! Thank you very much Tatyana! We will definitely go back to the hotel in the future!

Me and my friend Absolutely loved the hotel. Tatyana at the reception was amazing, she welcomed us very professionally, explained everything easily and we also received welcome drinks ❤️ hotel is perfect location, walking distance to all attractions and popular places. Room was beautiful, clean and perfect size also the view was spectacular 👌. Hotel has a bar roof terrace with even better view ❤️. We will definitely be coming back. Nothing everything was perfect

The hotel is located opposite the Museum at Wenceslas Square. It is a great location close to restaurants and public transport. The hotel has retained most of the old furniture that came with the building, like desks chairs etc. but they are maintained properly. The beds were new however and the bathroom/toilet was also newly fitted. This gives the hotel a great character without sacrificing comfort. Their more expensive rooms look to be more modern though. The staff is very friendly too!

Helpful Staff in reception. Especially Thatiana we found her extremely helpful when checking out assuring our stay was a good one and getting us to the airport. Good location to the main tourist attractions. We booked the deluxe double room with Prague Castle view which was comfortable and spacious along with nice easy access to the roof top bar. Would recommend.

Showers got cold after a couple of minutes.
