Cute little boutique hotel located next to Prague Castle. My room was spacious and spotless clean Beds and pillows are very comfortable Breakfast is varied and delicious

- My room was located on the second floor above the restaurant, very noisy if you sleep with the window open. Plus every morning I was woken up very early by the laundry truck - Blackout curtains are needed, it can be bright in the morning -Hotel is located in a quite steep hill, can be difficult for some people especially if you do it few times per day

Perfect hotel for our recent trip to Prague, it was extremely clean and comfortable and had all the facilities required. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had room 34 on the 3rd floor and had a fantastic view out over the city. For me this was the perfect location directly next to the castle and away from the hustle and bustle from over the other side of the Charles bridge. There was a great choice each morning for breakfast and we tried the food in the restaurant too which was exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel for your Prague city break.

1.Reserved a parking space as required, but there is no reserved parking space, you need to find it yourself. It's kind of strange what is the role of the appointment? 2.The breakfast room is crowded, and the service staff is not timely enough to arrange the tables. We stayed for four days, so we went towards the end of breakfast for the last two days, there would be available table for us. 3.We arrived at the hotel on Saturday night. There was not enough warm water for bathing on Saturday and Sunday, but it got better on Monday and Tuesday with hot water for bathing.

The location is perfect if you want to visit the castle. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained, and quiet (this is impressive as it is on the crossroads of tourist traffic). Breakfast is continental with a selection for almost everyone's taste, high quality, fresh food and the scrambled eggs are probably the best I have ever had (compliments to the chef). Staff are attentive and the restaurant itself has a comfy vibe. Rooms are always clean and the bathroom is always re-stocked. Reception is always open and the staff are very helpful without being intrusive, and will assist you if you have any questions. Around the hotel many options for souvenirs shopping, coffee, and restaurants with a few bars thrown into the mix.

This is not a dislike but more of a warning. The hotel itself is on the way to the Castle, so there is a hill that one must climb. If you have any problems with walking up a steepish street, this might be an issue for you. But there is a road that leads up to the hotel with access for cars, so taxi could be an option

Really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Golden Star. We had a lovely welcome on arrival and throughout our stay the staff were really friendly, courteous and helpful and on hand 24/7. The hotel is in a beautiful old building with lovely views of the city and our room was comfortable, bright and spacious and very clean. There was a good selection for breakfast with plenty of hot and cold options, plus fruits, pastries and breads. We loved the location, as we wanted to be away from the main bustle, but close enough to explore the city easily. It's close to the main castle complex and whilst busy during the day, it was quiet and peaceful at night and in a lovely quarter of Prague.

Location, location location! 😄 Absolutely stunning view from the window, walking distance to the Castle and easy walk to Charles Bridge and The Old Town. Warm welcome by the staff and the pre-ordered by me prosecco on ice and chocolates waiting in the room on our arrival 💜 I was there with my Mom after not seeing her for 5 years, and it could not have been made any more special. Mimosas for breakfast were a great touch as well. I also appreciate the fact that the staff organised our parking space in advance as well as for the next day. Very enjoyable stay from start to finish. Highly recommend. We loved it!

Our stay at Golden Star Hotel was fantastic! The room was beautiful and felt so luxurious and the view from our room (and probably most of the other rooms also) were almost breathtakingly beautiful. The staff was helpful and welcoming no matter the time of day. The location was great, just a few steps away from Prague Castle and the Vitus Cathedral where the view over the city was incredible. Almost every single one of the big attractions were within walking distance. There were also cafes, bars, restaurants and convince stores very near the hotel which was great! The breakfast was rather simple but good, we didn’t feel like we missed anything. They had three warm dishes they rotated which gave the breakfast some variation which was nice. We would happily come back and stay at the Golden Star anytime!

The only downside was that the hotel was located on the top of a pretty steep hill so a lot of walking back and forth to the hotel could be pretty tiresome and this could be something to take into consideration for some. However there is a bus line, 194, that goes from the city center almost all the way up the hill and we used it frequently. From that buss you could hop of at a number of stations and from there you could go pretty much anywhere with either buss, tram or metro so the amount of walking you do is totally up to you. We bought tickets with an app and they were extremely cheap and totally worth it for days when you felt like your feet needed a break.

The hotel is located right next to the castle walls and close to the historic center and most of the tourist attractions. You don't need a car or public transport. The room was bright, spacious and the front rooms offer a beautiful view of the city, the hotel being located on a hill. Rich and varied breakfast. There are many restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops in the area. If you travel by car, take an interest in the parking system in advance. Paid parking at the hotel was 18 euros/day. The hotel does not have private parking and I did not understand their parking system for tourists very well

At night when it is very quiet in the rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors (attic) you can hear the motors of the ventilation system which are positioned on the roof, which can be disturbing for some people. Also, even though we arrived at check-in at 8 p.m., we were charged for parking for the whole day, it wasn't 24 hours parking .

The hotel was beautiful, exceptionally clean and staff were so very helpful too. we stayed I a suite which was spacious and had everything we needed, very comfortable bed and beautiful bathrooms, our room had an amazing view of Old Town in the distance and was in a quiet location but near to restaurants and only a 10 min walk to Old Town. Delicious breakfast too and the waitress was so lovely and always had a smile and a hello for us 😊

The hotel was at the top of the hill next to Prague Castle and the view was put off this world. The rooms very clean, the staff were friendly and and the best bed I've ever slept in. The buffet breakfast was always fresh with a good variety of foods. It was so quiet and peaceful and only a 15 min walk to Charles Bridge. I would highly recommend a visit and would go back again without hesitation.
