The location was the key factor for our travel and Hotel Garden Court certainly delivered that, everything we wanted to see was within 10 min walking distance, even the trams and metro were within walking distances of the hotel. Additionally, our check-in was a smooth and quick process, Nicholas, who was very helpful, professional, and guided us to the surrounding of the hotel. Throughout our stay he was very engaging and informative. The staff on breakfast duties were very welcoming, greeting everyone with a smile. The breakfast was continental and well catered for, lots of choices for everyone. The outside courtyard was a favourite place for everyone to have their breakfast, beautiful place with early morning sun shining across the yard. Our room was very spacious, accommodating with fully working air condition and had all the amenities listed on the booking.com site, the room was cleaned every day, so huge thank you to the housekeeping staffs.

For our short stay at Hotel Garden Court, we didn’t feel there was anything NOT to like!

The street image where our hotel is located was greatly influenced by Baroque. The Holy Trinity Baroque church stands opposite it's entrance with our Suite rooms windows facing its construction designed by Octavian Broggio in 1708. That goes in great harmony with this Italian managed property. The remodelled facades and interior is architecturally remarkable. Ideal soundproof walls, high ceiling keept us isolated from the neighbours and made an atmosphere. Steps from a tram and metro station, secure access to the lobby in the afternoon by the room key - a great value. They care about tourist keeing a video about Prague attractions on air at breakfast. Good food and nice choice of tables - outside in the yard, in a calmer courner, close to the kitchen, - made breakfast more facinationg. While the weather was very hot, we had to air our suite several times a day. Due to the trafic (trams especially) till late at night a regular city noise kept us involved in Prague's life. For sencitive ears better to ask for a courtyard view rooms with no outside noise. Shops, an opera theatre, other muzeums are within 5 min walk, or 10 min by tram. Go for it, guys!

The hotel itself is magical with several areas being used for breakfast one being in the courtyard! An interesting modern conversion from a large mansion into the boutique style hotel. The buffet breakfast which is located in a neat alcove features the usual array of traditional Czech cuisine including an unusual bowl of runner beans on offer instead of usual baked beans! Hotel is very accessible to the main cultural attractions as well as to the metro station about 75 metres away! I found the receptionist greeting me in a very appropriate manner upon my arrival very late in the night. She was prepared of my arrival resulting she assisted me in a friendly manner with the confident attitude.

As my plane was 2.5 hours late, I reached the hotel at 11.00pm real tired. I found my single bedroom very hot through the outside temperatures. I had a broken night sleep even with the soothing fan. That is my only grouse which is however out of the hotel’s control!

The location was fantastic a short walk to all the sights. Lovely restaurants close by offering traditional dishes at reasonable prices. The room was very spacious with a beautiful bathroom. It was clean and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel.

The only thing that wasn't great was our room was at the front of the hotel and the noise from the street made sleeping difficult. A room at the back of the hotel would have solved this problem. Next time I would make a request to stay at the back of the hotel away from the street at the front.

The hot breakfast and the varieties of food are unexpected and very good. The young lady waitress from Ukraine is hardworking & highly efficient. She gave us welcoming smiles every morning. And Joseph in the reception table is smart, professional and helpful.

Not enough hangers for hanging clothes, the clothes rack in my room is too high. And the bed is not hard enough to support our backbones. The pillows are too soft.

Great location, central to tourist attractions & eateries. The room was very clean & warm with a hot modern shower. Large choice of food for breakfast. Friendly reception staff. The bed & pillows were particularly comfortable.We felt like it was a good choice of hotel.

A couple of complimentary bottles of water would have been a nice thing to arrive to &/or a slightly better choice of tea/coffee but in the grand scheme of things it's nit picking.

Easy to reach hotel, in the city center of Prague. It’s perfect for a city break, extremely comfortable bed and pillows, very clean and pretty big rooms. I believe we got lucky for getting a 2nd floor room, more quiet than in any part of the hotel. No complaints regarding the room and the hotel itself, the breakfast could be improved though, as well as the breakfast area.

We tried the breakfast only one morning and then decided to eat it somewhere else in the city (try the Venue or the Monk Bistro). Also, don’t lose time checking in online, there are quite long waiting times anyhow since they are actually writting down your details and then ask you to add your home address, capital letters being mandatory. Furthermore, I would suggest 2 things to the hotel management, smiles at the reception are working wonders and remove the 5 euro extra cost reminder, in case of card loss.

Everything was near from hotel…restaurants, pubs, trains, the old city…

the last breakfast, I think wasn’t fresh.

I cannot highly enough recommend this hotel: Prague was hit by a horrible heat wave during our stay, which we were protected from experiencing while at the hotel due to their excellent air-conditioning during the day. That said, they seem to raise the temperature during the night, which did make the room too warm to my liking, and that was a shame, but other than that no complaints and only positive points to this great hotel: the location is a 5 minute walk from the Old City, the hotel is immaculate, the room and bathroom were super comfortable and spacious, the breakfast excellent, the price unbeatable for all that received in exchange, and the cherry on top of all of this goodness is the charming inner courtyard with chaise lounges, where - when Prague is not struck by a heatwave - guests can chill out.

As I wrote, I was dissatisfied by the hotel raising the temperature in the room at night, and not enabling us to modify the temperature of the a/c, but this was only at night. It seemed that we were able to regulate the temp of the room from there early morning.

Breakfast variety was sufficient. It may be a little more satisfying in terms of taste, but I think it is very successful in terms of price / benefit. The staff was very caring and helpful. We were especially pleased with the attention and care of the receptionist Daiana. Daiana; she gave us accurate and comforting information about taking our luggage into custody, giving detailed information about the important points to see in the city, and how to reach the airport from the hotel in the fastest and most cost-effective way. The location of the hotel is simply wonderful. It is at a point where the historical and modern texture of the city of Prague meet, it has a location that offers easy access to both sides on foot. If you did not get a much better recommendation, you can stay at this hotel with peace of mind.
