The location was very good, just the right distance from the piazza in my opinion, having parking was abonus. The street below could be noisy once the bars open but quiet at 0100. The staff were excellent and very informative. The room itself was very nice, spacious and comfortable, somewhat of a boutique feel. The breakfast area wasn't available at the time; however, the staff provided a somewhat continental option upon requested timing.

Difficult location to find initially when its dark, but we didn't seek direction at the time but I'm also sure it would have been provided if asked.

Fantastic place right in centre with everything right outside the door, yet still quiet night and able sleep well. Rooms very spacious, beds and pillows the best we experienced on Sicily (3 hotels in upper range) and the host is absolutely amazing!! Fantastic service and going way beyond to help with anything and everything, ensuring we had a top top stay. Highly recommendable and we will DEFINITELY stay there again next time we come to Catania !!! Forget the 1-star, this should clearly be minimum 3-4 star with a 5-star personalized service. Loved the place!

Everything was ok!

We loved everything about this hotel, fabulous location, so clean, close to airport bus within a few minutes walk of the Duomo and Teatro Bellini.Marco is a great host so welcoming offering great info about all the sights and helping us to organised excursions.If you love staying in locally owned hotels, this is a great choice.Very reasonably priced.

Everything was fine, just a small set of stairs to reach rooms on the upper floor,.Marco was available to help with luggage.

The host/owner Marco treats you like family. He always greets me with smile and is ready to assist in all my needs. The staff are also amazing. they even bought pizza for me. The hotel is clean and my room is spacious. it is also easy to locate and near the city center where tour meet ups are located.

there are times that some neighbors are noisy in the morning and since there’s a bar nearby, there is a tendency to be noisy at night.

We liked the location of the hotel, cleanliness of the rooms and surrounding areas, the hosts (Marco and Chiara) were brilliant giving attention to the details and resolve any concerns we had. They went above and beyond by sharing local information enriching our experience of Catania which one may not find on travel sites.

There was nothing to not to like about our stay at the hotel. The hotel's location is very centre to the town with walking distance to the famous fins market, the square, restaurants and public transport such as Metro and bus stations.

The outer appearance of the building is not great, however, the hotel part of the building was good once inside. Our rooms were adjacent and apart from a slight problem with the aircon, which was resolved quickly, our stay there went very well. The hotel is near what is obviously an active party street with many bars which some guests will like. Since we were not there over the weekend I cannot comment on the noise levels on Friday and Saturday nights but it did not bother us the nights we were there. The hotel is very close to the main square with the cathedral, as are the offices of a local tour company for the hop on hop off buses. The Bellini theatre is virtually next door if potential guests are interested and the Biscari Palace is only a few minutes walk away. There is no breakfast at the hotel but with the cafeterias of the main square nearby ...and many other options...finding somewhere for breakfast is not a problem.

A supply of chilled water from a refrigerator, even a shared central one, would have been nice. There is a coffee machine in a communal area but the rooms don't have a minifridge.

Excellent location, design and comfort and outstanding management. the internet is one of the best I had in all Italy! handy if you need to work. It is an old hotel re-designed and run by Marco who goes the extra mile always to make you feel at home and he is very passionate about his hotel and hospitality . Many times in Catania properties before, never so confortable and never felt so welcomed. Grazie mille Marco!

I had a great stay at the hotel. The location was excellent and the parking lot was safe. Ricardo provided stability and comfort throughout my 4-day stay. Bianca always cleaned up with a bright smile, so I could spend time comfortably.

It would be nice if a hair dryer was provided as a basic amenity.

Super friendly hosts, they really helped us during our stay. Availability to park our car was also amazing. Location is great, close to city center. Easy and simple accommodation, just what we needed. Thank you for everything. The souvenir magnets have a really nice spot at our refrigerator.

The airconditioning makes a really loud noice, same counts for the extractor in the bathroom but once turned off its totally fine.
