I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Staff was absolutely friendly and responsive.My first impression was positive as the staff let me check in earlier that what was planned. Lots of parking spaces and easy acces to Gröningen. The bar downstairs was really nice and very fair prices for brand drinks. In the bathroom, there was a jar full of small tubes of shampoo and shower gel. Finally, the breakfast- a buffet with various types of jams, eggs and rolls.. I really recommend this hotel for short stays

The stairs with worn carpet and narrow steps. It would be very difficult for elderly people to walk up- and downstairs

Good secure parking. Easy check in. There was a separate entrance and lift that made it easier to get bags to the room. We had a refrigerator and coffee making facilities in the room which was appreciated. Breakfast was very good including a freshly made omelette. We used the restaurant for our evening meals. They were excellent and good value for money. The hotel was by the main road giving easy access to Groningen but the room was quiet. The staff were good and friendly giving a personal feel to the hotel.

The room was on the small side and the pitched roof was difficult with my height.

The staff were very friendly at both the reception and in the restaurant. Very good food both evening and breakfast. Air conditioning in the room was very welcome as it was very hot. There was lots of private parking available with CCTV cameras.

The shower area was incredibly narrow to access even for a smaller person. It was open to the room and water splashed into the room. The toilet again was very small and guests would have difficulty closing the door without banging their knees or feet.

large rooms, great breakfast, plenty of onsite parking, good location, it was a treat to have the Easter Bunny visit during dinner

2 remotes for the tv which was confusing and difficult to use, being Easter there was only a 4 course set menu and we can’t eat that amount of food and no option to have a la carte - that was both Easter Sunday and Monday during our stay, and what really annoyed us on Easter Sunday evening a couple were allowed to order pizza!

This was my second time at this hotel. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is delicious and the rooms are big and spacious. This time, I was in a more modern room, which was a bit nicer than last time.

For me this was not an issue, but the best way to get there and get around is by car. I don't think that this location is good for people who travel by public transport.

On arrival we found out we got a free upgrade, got one of the nicest rooms in the hotel. This has been our third stay and we got an upgrade last time too. Lovely room, walk in shower and a bath. Buffet breakfast is lovely, plenty to choose from.

Can't think of anything that could have been better.

A quiet location, clean and well presented hotel. Excellent access to Groningen and main routes. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Restaurant had a decent menu at reasonable prices

Northing really but it would be a 10 minute drive to Groningen or short bike ride if the city is your thing Pete

Lovely spacious room overlooking fields and streams. Excellent restaurant and menu. The staff were very cheerful and friendly. Good breakfast with plenty of variety.

Would have liked better lighting in the bathroom. The air conditioning was not straighforward to use.

Got a nice room upgrade, enjoying a patio with decent views of scenery including horses, storks, cattle, etc. Room size and design were really above expectations..

The breakfast atmosphere was kind of hectic, lots of plastic if you opt for jam and marmalade.

Modern hotel with an extremely comfortable bed. Quiet, clean and pleasant. We forgot something there when we checked out and it was shipped to us, immediately when we reported it. Good service.

There is no mini fridge in the room, pretty unhandy in the summer.
