Great location. Appreciated the windows(!), beautiful view of the Capitol but NO street noise! (and windows opened!). Nice suite, Comfy bed. Mini-refrigerator. Updated bathroom. Loved the complimentary UW cookies.

These are minor—- Bar/restaurant seemed understaffed, at all times— morn, noon, night- very understandable given Labor Day weekend, farmers market, taste of Madison, UW football game. Having to wait at the restaurant forever to pay for a few coffees to get quickly on the road in the morning- not great. Most people are paying $300+ per night, seems to be nickel and diming your guests, may want to consider offering complimentary coffee and even bottled waters.

So much! The location to the event I was attending was just 1/2 block away, the room was clean and QUIET, the beds were comfortable, the staff were fantastic, and they had the room ready early so we could head right to the event and not have to come back to check in. It was a great stay!

We went down for a continental breakfast since the restaurant was closed but they had run out by the time we got there at 9:30 am.

I only stayed there for 2 nights, but my whole experience was good. The room was spacious, quiet, and clean, and the staff was nice and very helpful. I arrived several hours earlier and they gave me the room without me even asking. I was carrying several bags and I was given a trolley before I had made the check in or asked for help. I also used the shuttle to the airport and they were very accommodating too. They were very helpful and nice my whole stay.

The location on the Square in Madison is hard to beat. The hotel is clean and well done throughout. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Being across the street from the Tornado Club steakhouse is a bonus.

Location was great. Friendly staff. Large pool (although very cold), clean room with fridge abs microwave was a plus. Modern decor.

The pool was freezing which was disappointing for me and my son. No jacuzzi which was disappointing considering there is so much space next to the pool. Water pressure in shower was so low. There was a high pitched noise (sounded like it was coming from the pipes) which was irritating when we were in our room. No breakfast offered. Coffee and granola bars and muffins were nice but I’m used to a better breakfast when staying at Best Western.

A couple of water bottles would have been nice. You had one excellent polite and charming man running the entire breakfast service, from hosting, serving, cooking, busing to making coffee. I know it's hard to get workers, but I hope you are paying him well for doing five jobs and making it look seamless on a busy morning after the inaugural ball.

Probably the best hotel stay we have had had: clean, comfortable, everything we needed. All details are tended to. I loved the lemongrass toiletries and the comfy robes. I was in a top floor view room with a full front view of the Capitol building. The Farmer's Market is right outside the door, as are great restaurants and more. Campus and State Street are just steps away. There is no better location to stay in Madison ...

It's pricey, but worth the convenience and location. Really. Treat yourself. No car, Uber or taxi needed. Everything is walkable.

The location was perfect. It's so nice to be right downtown and in walking distance of so many restaurants and right on the square. The check in process was so easy, and everyone was so friendly that worked there. The beds were very comfortable and the pool area was so clean and nice.

Valets, desk staff super friendly. Room was great. Pool was terrific. Location is spectacular.

The Post bartender very unfriendly. Also seemed under staffed for Friday night. And shame that outdoor seating was removed for evening.

We loved this hotel! It was clean, classic, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. They really went above and beyond for even the smallest request. We enjoyed being able to walk to sites and restaurants. A fabulous choice for anyone hoping to explore downtown Madison!
