Staff couldn't do more. Turned up and the third person wasn't on the system, but the man on reception was so helpful and even came up with a duvet and pillows to make up the bed....turns out it was made anyway. Then a fan was broken and it was boiling. So reception bought up another fan within about 10 minutes. At breakfast I went down alone, it was super busy and noisy. But the lady sat I could sit in the bar which was much quieter. Lovely staff all round! Lovely big room. Very clean.

Paying to park.....I feel the rooms cost enough without being charged £5. I would rather the cost be hidden in the room price. The sofa bed was not very comfy.

We have stayed many times at this hotel and continue to come back due to the positive stay we have and the great facilities the hotel has.

As I'm sure with all hotels, there are unfortunately regularly noisey naighbours in nearby rooms. When traveling with young children it does make bedtimes and nights that much harder when your 'quiet' room is below or next to a noisy room. Another note is that the hotel does not have any EV charging option on site - as a household, we are upgrading to EV currently and it is not yet known whether we will continue to be able to keep returnning to this hotel on that basis if we are needing to charge the vehicle after the long commute to Stoke-on-trent

The room was very clean and had a new and fresh interior. It is advisable to be careful since there is no refrigerator or dryer in the room. The bathtub and water facilities were also clean and nice. The reception had free lemon water and ice pop available. There was also a small sandpit at the entrance where we could let our kids play while waiting for a taxi. Since Waterworld is nearby, which is a great place for families with young children, we thought this hotel was in a great location. Moreover, the restaurant inside the hotel was delicious and had a great selection for children. We would definitely want to stay at this hotel again when we visit Stoke-on-Trent next time.

The junior suite and pool were fabulous. The toiletries and robes were a lovely touch. The staff service in all departments was very good.

The evening meal in the restaurant was disappointing, I had to send my chefs special back as it was cold and one of the children was unwell later and we think it was his meal. The pasta dishes were very over cooked like chewing gum and I only had one small Piece of white bread with no butter for my pate starter so not great. The breakfast was equally as disappointing , not cooked well at all and not at all like last years, and not as good as the double tree Hilton Leeds!

Breakfast staff were amazing for providing allergy safe food for us. We we’re able to eat plenty and they went out of their way to assist, best part of the stay by far

Room wasn’t ready in that the children’s bed was not set up and we needed to ask several times for this to be done as we needed to get the children to sleep (we asked on settling into the room went out for our evening meal and needed to ask again, that was absolutely the only complaint and not really complaint worthy. The lady who made the bed up was lovely as were reception staff would recommend this hotel to friends and family

Liked the fact that there was a swimming pool - my boy loved it. Staff were friendly. Bed was comfy Providing activity packs at dinner was a nice touch for families with children

Dinner was awful - took 20mins to take our order - 30mins for drinks and my son’s starter. 1 hour for main courses - not great when you have a small child. asked 3 people for a spoon, ketchup and mayonnaise- that took 5 mins to get some. When we got there I asked about Strawberries and chocolate. I should have been celebrating our wedding anniversary on Thursday June 1st but my husband died last year. She said she would sort it - but nothing was done.

The property was very modern, fresh and clean design. The room was nice and keeping to the hotel standards. They gave us some biscuits at reception and there was complimentary drinks and water in the room.

The road leading up to the property was blocked (apparently it has been like this for over a year) and the road diversion signs weren’t clear and much so was confusing trying to get to the hotel. A staff member had to give me a postcode for a near by building to get me to the right path. The fact that none of the rooms had a fridge, this makes it difficult for families with young children/babies. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been hovered and the bath board was falling apart.

it was ideal for what we needed, we seen it had a spa etc so thought this would be even more ideal, although we didn’t get the chance to use it (our fault time wise not the hotels). everything was perfect and as expected, clean and tidy and very comfy bed, massive tv in the room

breakfast was only provided to us 1/2 days, the second day we called at 8:30 to ask when breakfast was served until, to be told it was too late to come now.. this was the only 1 issue with the hotel, and is fairly small problem, just make sure your up in plenty time (the first day we had breakfast at 7am). the food also wasn’t the best I’ve seen but also wasn’t the worst, would rate breakfast a 6/10, when it’s available. everything else I would give a 9/10. I rated in total 8/10 purely because I couldn’t judge the spa I didn’t see, but again, this was my fault not the hotels

The breakfast was amazing the staff were wonderful and the hotel was immaculate first we stayed at Hilton on Thursday and Friday 1st June 2nd June booked under my partners name Eric mee we then went on to Liverpool but the hotel we booked for 3 nights was appalling so we booked the Hilton agsin and drive back to Stoke on trent

The only issue and it was so minor was they said we had a charge on our room at checkout for 24 pounds which was incorrect as we paid for our drinks and parking separately already but this was more of an oversight on their part and not a big dealbreaker

Rooms are modern, clean and spacious, restaurant and bar are nice with good choice of options as there isn't much else around the area. Hotel feels modern inside, pool, sauna and steam room are nice addition, although very busy and very small so can get really crowded.

Only issue was with my room - there was a generator noise coming from outside my room which made it impossible to sleep. Eventually rang reception at 1am who said they'd send someone to investigate but sadly hotel was full so they couldn't move me. Barely slept - raised this with reception who weren't very sympathetic (almost implied i'd made this up!). Did offer a small discount on stay but didn't seem much compensation considering i'd barely slept all night and had a full day of meetings and a long journey home!
