Great location for Alton Towers, Taxi 20m approx £20-£30 local taxis or Uber (July 2023 prices). Excellent value for money. Greene King so cheap but decent food. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was advertised as 301sqft Family room, and it just was not that at all perhaps around half that 150sqft. We have stayed in lots of family rooms and this was a good one amongst others like it, Premier Inn, Holiday Inn etc are all a similar size. However, we have stayed in others 280 - 320 sqft and they are vastly different and normally you have a separate sleeping area for the family, which was what we were expecting from the advertised size of the room.

The location of the hotel was easy to find and a short drive to get to most places whether it is for day trips or events in the city centre. The rooms were spacious and had storage spaces to hand clothes/coats. The restaurant is linked with the hotel and the food was brilliant and affordable prices which made a long stay not be too costly.

I was doing a motorcycle course at the football stadium and to clean the visor on my helmet I had a microfibre cloth specific for that, unfortunately, this was accidentally picked up by the cleaners and wasn't able to be found. Luckily the riding school had cloths I could use. Other than that there wasn't anything wrong with the 8 days I stayed there.

The hotel was everything me an my daughter needed for a few days at alton towers. Was an amazing stay and a perfect location with an aldi, petrol station an McDonald's all a stone throw away. I would definitely stay there again an recommend to others also.

Our only down side to our stay was the wait for food in the bar in the evening which was truly awful. After a very long day myself an my daughter were very hungry and tired but after ordering at bar food did not arrive untill an hour an a half later an my daughters burger an chips was cold. I asked numerous times about food an staff were not the most helpful or apologetic about our wait or condition of food.

The rooms are excellent and great value for money. They are comfortable and well equiped with tea and coffee making facilites. The shower is amazing, hot, powerful and lots of hot water. We ate our evening meal at the attached restaurant and the portions were huge. Everyone ate very well and the food was really lovely, Obviously more expensive than the fast food outlet over the road but much better value for money. All staff were very helpful and accomodating, polite and all working very hard indeed.

My only request for improvement would be the amount of tea, coffee, milk and sugar in the room. Both times we have stayed here we have had to ask for more as they only provide enough for 2-3 coffees.

the property was easy to find, everything worked in perfect order, surprised by the impressive shower pressure, all you needed for a nights stay tv,internet and conjoined bar with decent food, comfortable rooms, staff were so friendly and accommodating so nice,

it looked a little run down, the property looked like it needed a good clean even though it smelled fresh, the fixtures were squint and dusty and electrical sockets were loose could do with a freshen up as dated looking, a few maintenance jobs wouldn’t go a miss, lick of paint, and new flooring, so the bathroom wouldn’t become flooded, but our room was more impressive however needed a few renovations, creepy paintings removed too.

Asked for a quiet upper room, got a quiet room. Excellent size for twin beds. Very comfy beds and linen. Great shower. Good breakfast. Convenient location and near to McDonald's and a Tesco. Large car park and a garden. Very nice staff.

Breakfast would be nice until 10am every day, breakfast good but iwouldn't have a Sunday roast there. A few more tea bags and milks would be nice.

Great location for Alton Towers, and main roads. Quiet even though beside a busy dual carriageway. Staff helpful, polite and interacting with our grandson every time we went in or out. Shower in room was really good, best I've had in a hotel for a while. Good choice of breakfast.

Small niggle - creaky floorboards in our bathroom (an upstairs room so people below us must had heard every time we went in it). Also the edging on bathroom floor was away from the wall so was a bit grubby.

Really comfortable room that was great value and convenient for visiting Alton Towers. Breakfast was really nice, with plenty of choice.

When we arrived there was no one on reception. There was a bell that we pressed several times but it was about 5-10 minutes before someone came. Totally understand that the lady was multi tasking and serving food in the restaurant too, and she was very friendly when she came to check us in, but it wasn’t the best start having to wait like that.

Great location - only a short drive to Alton Towers. Our room was super clean and beds comfortable. We’ve had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and it was fantastic. Restaurant was really busy at night, but staff has managed it exceptionally well. Great customer service all around. Overall, great hotel - would definitely come back.

The only thing I could say is that the common area looks a little bit tired. Could do with a touch of paint and new carpets.

Very welcoming, all staff I had interactions with were lovely and friendly nothing was too much trouble. Myself and two daughters enjoyed our stay while visiting Alton Towers for our summer treat and would happily return again in future.

Only real negative for myself was unfortunately the cooked breakfast wasn't up to much I was a tad dissapointed as was looking forward to it. The fried egg was rock solid, mushrooms had the life sucked out of them the beans were mushy and toast burnt on one side I sadly couldn't eat it all the sausage & bacon was good tho. The coffee wasn't great either ended up going to mcdonald's across the road for one. The continental side was lovely nice pastries and fresh orange juice that went down well with the kids and myself.
