Hotel was friendly, beautiful, great location for the potteries art gallery, lovely and clean with the exception of a few glasses left outside of rooms constantly ( but that's customers) the hotel felt very secure ( area around is quite rough) so this was great.
Car park being across the road was a bit of a pain, and paying £7.50 extra for it when it's not very secure was a bit steep, breakfast wasn't worth £12.50 it was a help yourself "full" buffet, but the cooked food wasn't very nice, scrambled egg only, undercooked sausages, and hard bacon. Beans mushrooms, no tomatoes, no fried eggs, the pastries were OK, muffins and croissants. And very basic cereal. However these are the only two things I didn't like about the hotel. So all in all, it was great!! Hanley however is a bit rough, but I believe they're trying hard to invest in the centre to pick it up a bit.

The property was very beautiful, the staff are very polite, and the bar was nice, the rooms were lovely & the bed was very comfortable!
Parking???? I paid for parking, but we decicded to pop out in the evening and when we come back the car park we had paid for was full. So we parked in the car park next door advised by the staff at the hotel, in the morning we left early as we had plans on the Sunday, when we went to the car, there was a car boot sale on, and it took us nearly a hour to get out of the car park, because the security had to open a locked gate and also ask people to move there stalls because of the market, so it made us late for our Sunday plans

Property is newish, very smart, super clean (apart from the carpet stain in our room). The air con is nice and quiet, bed is very comfy, but pillows too soft for my taste. location is perfect for the Regent Theatre. Breakfast was good, though not great. car parking is convenient, though across the main road. Oddly there is a huge car park right next door that is 95% empty all day but forbidden to hotel guests. No doubt not the hotel’s fault of course, but a quirk of city planning.
Nothing I didn’t like, but some minor things could be improved: 1. I asked for a firmer pillow. Some time later a housekeeper knocked on the door and offered us spare hangers. I don’t think firm pillows are on their radar, which is odd as so many people with bad necks use them these days. 2. Only black tea bags in the room- green tea is our preference 3. Breakfast buffet needs some chopped and peeled fresh fruit, more fruit juice choices,

Breakfast is really good & the staff are lovely. Well catered for all. Great location for travelling to Alton towers, bus station just a 5 min walk away. Cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, room cleaned everyday. Xtra touch with the birthday balloons and rose petals for my partners birthday :-). We already can’t wait to come back next year!
My margarita cocktail is the only thing I think I can fault here!! Also we have noticed the price has increased quite a bit from our first visit for bed & breakfast, but we do love this hotel and it’s location which is why we return!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very clean, minimalistic. Breakfast was great, chef was very good, even cripsed the bacon for me. Lovely Italian restaurant very close. Lovely and quiet it the rooms all soundproofed. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
we had booked a family room (King and twin, interconnecting) on arrival the king family room had been allocated to another guest. Therefore was given a queen accessible room. The receptionist was very helpful and really apologetic. Gave some discount, and free parking as the bathroom was a wet room and not standard bathroom. However the room was huge and was comfortable, so not really a negative point.

We stayed in room 301 on the 3rd floor. The room was a great size and absolutely spotless, one of the cleanest places I've stayed. The room was really well equipped, large TV on the wall, ironing board, iron, hairdryer etc, chaise longue, table and desk area. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and again a great size.
The doors throughout the hotel are really heavy duty and so make a loud noise when they close. As such, as a light sleeper who wears earplugs I was kept awake by guests coming and going which was a bit of a pain but not much that anyone can do about that. It was still a lovely hotel and I would still stay there again.

Room was lovely bed & pillows were so comfortable. Housekeeping was to an excellent standard. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful.
Breakfast was not reflective of a four star hotel. Choice was fine but items cooked and left on hot plate. Example of this was the rock hard pancakes and waffles. Cooking of bacon was inconsistent, some under cooked, some overcooked and been on the hotplate for quite some time. Sausages were not cooked in a consistent manner either, well done on one side, barely cooked on the other side.

Very clean. Hotel smells great. Nice restaurant, standard options great for a fussy eater. Not mind blowing but good filling meal. Bedroom great size. Nice temperature control. Didn't use the little shop by check in desk but nice to have the option. Also appreciated the option of late check out.
Area not amazing but that can't be helped. Not the most amazing value for money, for the price I would expect more facilities. The gym was very small and basic. Bed a little hard but personal preference so reluctant to complain about that. As is seemingly standard for Hilton offshoots the lighting in the room is annoyingly dim. Loads of different lights and still felt like I wasn't in a fully lot room.

New and contemporary in style, the overall feel was fresh and airy. Everyone in our group also commented on how great the beds were. Simple but well cooked buffet breakfast. Waffle maker was also a lovely touch!
Dinner was very disappointing. We weren’t expecting amazing things but even simple foods like the hummus and breads weren’t great. We’re we’re also pretty shocked that Pepsi’s were £5 a glass!! A single packet if kettle chips in the reception priced at £2.35 was also rather ridiculous. Not a reflection on the staff though who were polite and accommodating.

The hotel was modern, clean, and staff were helpful. There was free breakfast included, and this was hit or miss, based on who the chef was that day. Our full English was great the first morning, and subpar the second. The gym was small, but good!
Didn’t like how far the hotel was from the train station, but it was very close to the Haley bus station, which was helpful for us when commuting to Alton Towers. However, not so helpful when traveling with luggage from the train station.
