The property is really luxurious. They have a pool, yoga room, and treatment rooms. On top of it, they have a fantastic view from the 6th floor if you decide to eat or drink in their rooftop bar/lounge/restaurant. The rooms were very clean and we were pleased with the aesthetics and the feeling. Our previous hotel didn’t have a vault to store our valuables so we were pleased to have one. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. They are skilled in English and the one time when my boyfriend needed to visit a doctor, the staff helped me to find the nearest hospital and call the number. At the rooftop bar, the staff was also really warm and friendly. Also, the breakfast was surprisingly good. Always filled up by staff when it runs out and fresh. The lighting adjustment functionality is also really nice. We could decide the “mood” ourselves.

The pool, yoga room, spa treatment, and gym aren’t inclusive. Which is okay if the prices weren’t so expensive. Access to the pool is €49 euros per person (unless you're part of the Scandic Friends, but we are tourists from another country). They do provide you bath towels, a bathrobe and sandals, but still I feel like the prices are too high. Us paying for this higher quality hotel made us expect at least one of the facilities to be included, but it wasn’t. And using them would cost a lot of money. Also we had to pay for the parking lot beneath the hotel. It was about 250dkk a day. We chose this hotel also based on its facilities such as parking, but it’s not free or cheap, which made us in the end spend quite a lot of money on this hotel.

It was really nice rooms and the beds were so comfortable. The breakfast buffet was big with lots of options and a vegan and gluten-free section (although not big). It was close to the station which was nice with a stroller and luggage to not have to walk for too long. Buses right outside on the opposite side of the street takes you to Nyhamn and the city center very easily. It was definitely worth the money and a great option for families. In the breakfast they had the breakfast fasciitis’s in two different directions from the reception with one of the directions also having a children’s playing corner included in the breakfast fasciitis so you could eat breakfast and have the children play by themselves in the corner as well (close by at the end of the room so you can have an eye on them). Very smart!

It was a bit too big which made it not so cosy and friendly. The staff were not very friendly although not impolite either. They were just very matter of fact. It seemed to be a very big hotel with lots of check ins and check outs constantly and you could really tell it was a business that was shipping ppl in and out.

This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel. The location is good, maybe a little too far from the metro on a hot day but overall good. It was nice to see they put a toaster in the canteen for breakfast even though majority of others didn't know how to use it. The pool facilities seem to have changed with how to book, and I got the impression from reception you had to pay separately for it.

While I didn't go that often to reception every time I did the staff really seemed uninterested. If they kept their head down then I would go away or someone else might come along. Sometimes it was difficult for them to break from their little group of laughing and help people.

Friendly, efficient staff, fantastic location and comfortable. Good breakfast options and a nice restaurant should you choose to stay in the hotel and eat. I’d recommend trying their award-winning burger. It’s easy to order a taxi through the front desk and they arrive within 5 minutes. The hotel isn’t far from the airport and close to the city centre. The room we booked was comfortable, clean and spacious. There is a wellness centre which gives you access to a gym, sauna, steam bath and good-sized swimming pool - fee required.

Confusing light switches in the rooms. Storing your luggage is cumbersome as you need to take the lift down to -1 and pay to stow your suitcases. There aren’t always the correct sized lockers. You are given a time limit to store your luggage and if you go over the limit, you need to pay again - quite expensive. The hotel is incredibly busy so be prepared to wait for assistance.

It’s beautiful, stylish and clean and so well situated. As a lone female traveller I felt incredibly safe. The breakfasts were phenomenal and Max and Max at the top floor bar were incredible. We had a great impromptu wine tasting session and learned so much. Excellent service

The only thing I didn’t like was that use of the pool isn’t free. I appreciate that booking slots may be required to avoid overcrowding, however I have never stayed in a hotel where use of the pool isn’t included in the cost of the room. I have no issue with paying for spa treatments, but after a long day of walking all I wanted to do was relax in the pool that was shown in the pictures. The hotel description on booking.com says ‘The hotel has a Spa and Relaxation area (available for a fee)…’ but doesn’t mention the pool is considered as part of ‘the Spa’, and this was a huge disappointment. This needs to be included in the copy.

Lovely modern hotel. Clean and the standard family room was very spacious. Breakfast was lovely (loads of options). All interactions with staff was pleasant. Check in is at 15:00 so we used the luggage lockers for a few hours, and it was great. Not to expensive. I saw some other reviews complain about having to pay for luggage storage but breakfast was included and a few other hotels near by were charging for breakfast. So it's worth it if you look at it like that. We paid £5 for 4 hours and this was perfect for us before check-in. We found loads of places to eat within walking distance and there is a mall not too far if you walk along the canal. Overall, would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast time can be very busy and you have to walk around trying to find a table. Best to go as late as possible otherwise you will be circling like a shark for a table. There are buses near by, but found it easier just to walk to the city centre.

Location was fabulous, loved our view. One outstanding member of staff was a lovely Korean lady noted during breakfast, she's so happy and helpful, the way she engaged with guests and her colleagues, she is a star and a wonderful representative of the hotel.

One down side of room is that the walls between bedroom area and bathroom is so thin ... you can hear EVERYTHING happening in the bathroom. Including struggling with the pump shampoo, etc which were useless and we had too dissemble to use. Staff was a bit hit and miss, nice but lacking staff who could check in at check in. Only one could do so but there was three behind the desk? Also we were told if we need our room serviced/ cleaned we need to advise the day before. Which we did. Unfortunately the request never made it through to house keeping. Had to ask for fresh towels, etc from front desk. Housekeeping came the next day.

Nice hotel, clean and with a nice new bathroom. We stayed as a family of 4 in a room, which left little floor space, but that was ok. The light switches in the room were difficult to figure out - there were pictures that were supposed to tell us which switches were for which lights, but we all found these confusing! Breakfast was very good, and my 6 year daughter old enjoyed the play area in one of the breakfast rooms. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening which was also good, the menu stuck to some basic family favourites which worked well for us. The location was walking distance from the central station which was convenient. I would be happy to stay here again.

Light switches were confusing!

The breakfast was really nice, although very crowdy. The room was bright and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly, they gave us additional breakfast to go because we didn’t have time to eat it on the last day.

There are definitely some things missing. We were not provided with a towel for the floor, so we had to use one of the towels, which was necessary because the shower is designed in such a way that a lot of water is left on the floor. The towels were not changed daily (or at all) without specifying 1 day before. The room also doesn’t get cleaned without asking 1 day before. The AC didn’t work properly and it gets fairly hot during the night; also, there is not a good ventilation system.
