Spotlessly clean room. Very comfortable bed/soft bed linen. Lovely staff - all very friendly, professional & helpful. Great location right in tge centre if Copenhagen and only 15 minutes from airport. Amazing breakfast - best of any hotel I’ve stayed in - organic, wide choice, lovely food, comfortable breakfast room, great staff.

The room was just a bit too basic. Could gave done with a chair and more places to put things. No way to contact reception/no phone. No kettle to make a drink.

Stylish hotel and nicely decorated room in the centre of Copenhagen. Only 10 minutes level walk to the main railway station. Tasty breakfast, which might seem pricey but is good value compared to other places in Copenhagen (as Copenhagen is expensive for food and drink).

Room doesn't have air-con, but does have a ceiling fan and the window opens. No kettle in the room which for UK travellers thirsting for a decent cup of tea will always get a hotel a black mark.

Small double room we were given. Small double bed squeezed in by window and radiator. Had to climb across bed to get in and out as couldnt walk around it. Nothing like the photograph on booking.com.

The hotel was stylish and comfortable – it felt more expensive than it was! The Standard King Room was a good size and had a decent desk/workspace. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was excellent (with good vegan options). The hotel bar/lobby was a comfortable place to relax. Location was central and close to metro/bus.

As there is no kettle/coffee in the rooms, it would have been nice to have access to free tea and coffee in the lobby/bar.

I like Motel One because they’re consistently good across countries, but this is the first I’ve stayed in where the design reflected the location. The rooms are beautifully Scandinavian - gorgeous wooden furniture, minimalist design etc. One of the best decorated hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. Location is excellent too, and price more than reasonable. Like all Motel One’s, breakfast is excellent and worth paying for.

The room itself was very small. I was travelling solo with hand luggage, but if there were two of you with cases it would be tight and I’m not sure where you would even be able to sit your luggage. Also, the clock tower outside chimes every fifteen minutes, and then on the hour. I use white noise when sleeping but I imagine this is irritating for some.

The staff were amazing - always smiling and friendly! The location was also great - very close to the main square (although you should be aware that the city hall bells are quite audible) and lots of bars and restaurants. Souvenir shops and transportation were also easily accessible. My bed was super big and comfortable!

Breakfast could be a lot more varied with both more cold cuts and more hot options. The walls were thin so you could hear most of what was going on, and also part of the hotel was being renovated, which was not mentioned anywhere. Wi-Fi was also slow at times, and despite my best efforts, I couldn't figure out how to work the Chrome Cast TV.

I like to stay at Motel One Hotels, the rooms are clean and comfortable, lobby and bar areas are always relaxing and the staff is friendly and helpful. Very central location in Copenhagen.

I also stayed at Motel One Copenhagen on December, my room was at the fifth floor and it was wonderful. I reserved the same type of room again but the room on the second floor was not as good as the previous one. The door of the bathroom was not a real door and it was not possible to close it completely which is not acceptable. And the shower area can be seen from the room which is also not comfortable.

Very friendly staff, small but cosy room. We were coming for our wedding, and the staff was so kind to decorate the room. The City Hall is just two minutes walk, so the location is truly perfect. The TV has a remote option, so you can watch Netflix and other things you have subscription for. The shower has decent pressure.

You can hear the bells ringing from the City Hall, but they are not super distracting. Might be worse when travelling in summer, but this noice is not too bad. Also, the blankets were super hot to me personally, so it was quite hard to sleep. But it's more of a personal preference and is tolerable. There wasn't much artificial lighting in the room if that might be a problem for you in the evening

Tiny rooms with no chair or desk, but with an unnecessarily large bed, leaving little room to move around. No coffee service other than breakfast.

The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the large shower in the bathroom. Rather than fillig the room with lots of furniture Motel One took a minimalist approach only supplying good quality, essential furniture. The entire property was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly.

At check-in I was asked to fill in a form which was asking for consent to share my details with third parties. When I challenged the need to sign the document the receptionist was not even sure what was on the form. For some this may not be an issue but for me it was disappointing for a hotel to do this.
