The hotel is located close to Vejle center. You cannot walk to the center so don't expect that. It is so Scandinavian style which is comfort, basic needs and simplicity. The breakfast was great. Everything you need was there including gluten & lactose free options. Nice to take a walk and have a romantic getaway.

I would appreciate if we had complementary slippers in the room. This should be a must for these kind of nice places. At the end of the day we are not staying in hostel. Also I don't like calling the reception and asking for it or I don't like to carry them with me. We wanted to ask for it. We went to the reception but waited in the evening, no one showed and we gave up.

Almost in the middle of nowhere, recommended for somebody looking for peaceful and relaxing stay with green pastures around. The breakfast was excellent, everything fresh and very tasty. The room was comfortable although not very large. Very good quality of toiletries. Friendly staff. **** We would especially like to thank Mr. Jakob S. who made our dinners exceptional. It's rare to find such professional and committed employees today.

Beautiful hotel in the countryside a few kms outside of Vejle. The setting was lovely; the included breakfast was excellent; the room was very comfortable with large windows and Gitte at the front desk was amazing and so helpful. Enjoyed the option of renting a cruiser bike on site to explore the nearby #36 bike trails to Billund and Vejle. Be aware it only has one gear so don't use on the roadways, which are also bike friendly but include rolling hills, ha ha.😉 Easy location to explore the town and Ladby Viking Museum from.

One recommendation I would make is to switch the beds in a few rooms to 2 large single beds instead of the king size bed. When travelling with friends or siblings we prefer to have our own beds. Bless your heart Gitte for helping us out that first night with an extra room. We would have stayed more than one night if we had a 2 bed option.

Beautiful location, amazing food and really comfortable rooms. The restaurant had lots of character and the food was amazing. Locally sourced ingredients and the service were very good.

The restaurant's policy on local sourced food made for an amazing meal, except for our 4yo girl who was tired and looking for simpler food she was more familiar with, a backup plan would have helped.

Outstanding food quality in the restaurant, wines were phenomenal as well! Explanations of waiter and waitress about food and wines. Quality level was kept for breakfast. Very lovely surroundings. Interior decorations. Friendliness of staff.

Restaurant/breakfast room could cosier. The order of the tables has something from cantine atmosphere. Only one (!) main course on the menu card. Very tasty but not good for those who don’t like fish. Presentation of breakfast buffet was better on my last stay some years ago.

Lovel place with beautiful nature around. The staff was amazing and very friendly, food delicious. The staff took care of our lunch which was really delicious. As a vegetarian I got a vegetarian version of the lunch. Seems anything is possible in this hotel and you won’t regret of staying there. We are regretting only one thing - short stay. Hope we’ll come back again.

The beds and the covers are great (was thinking about bringing them home). The breakfast buffet looks small at the first glance but the quality of what is offered is just top so I doubt anybody would change anything, maybe a less salty bacon, but besides from that nothing.

I missed a bottleopener in the room, but You are able to open a beer with a clothhanger. :-)

The hotel is situated in a beautiful area surrounded by rolling hills and woodland. The rooms are cozy and very clean. The staff is wonderful and incredibly helpful. Also, the breakfast buffet is perfect; a lot of options and everything is fresh and very tasty.

While we liked the room in wood outfit, they still contain the (bad) smell of I suppose ‘raw’ wood. In one review we read that there a lot of flies in breakfast area, which is true, but it should be considered that the hotel is practically in nature, while the breakfast area is not air conditioned but the doors are open to outside. In such circumstances we did not mind it
