The hotel is in a fabulous location right in the centre of Billund within easy reach of Legoland and across the road from the Lego House. It is really nicely decorated and beautifully clean. We had a fabulous room in the attic with dormer window and a modern, clean bathroom. It was a superb size with tea/coffee making facilities.

A little disappointed with reception - we asked if there was a bus to Legoland and were told no. In fact there are fabulous regular local buses just a 5 minute walk away but had to work that out for ourselves. Although only a 20/25 minute walk, one of our party has a slight disability so this was really important ... taxis are super expensive! Breakfast was a teeny bit limited

The room was light and airy. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean. The room itself is a good size, and there's a small balcony shared with the room next door.

There was a used razor in the shower. The shower leaks. Noise from the restaurant below can be annoying at night.

Location - we visited for Lego House… 2 mins walk max from hotel. Billund is small. Breakfast room was lovely - tastefully decorated and breakfast was a simple hot & cold buffet but excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Price - we paid c. £150 for 1 night in the annexe. That was probably £30 too expensive in my opinion as a seasoned traveller but it’s pretty much the only option. Hotel closes reception etc. at 12.00 hrs on Sundays - not possible to leave luggage though if you are visiting Lego House then there are free lockers there which can take a small carry on suitcase.

First time to Billund and I will be coming back again, the hotel location was perfect, it was such a beautiful town setting, I loved every second of it while I was there (I kinda didn’t want to leave) everyone was really friendly, the room was perfect size and had everything I needed, breakfast was very well prepared and very yummy. Thank you for a truly wonderful hotel stay it has to be in my top three hotels I’ve ever stayed in so I will definitely be coming back to visit!

I really have nothing negative to say about my stay or about the property, it was just amazing!!

Wow. Just WOW. HAPPY, FRIENDLY and HELPFUL STAFF, always smiling and this gives a sense of What a Find! BREAKFAST: This trip was with two high school-graduate grandchildren, one who had never flown in a plane before and apprehensive. Her favorite place on an 18-day trip? REFBORG HOUSE. Her favorite breakfast? REFBORG HOUSE. No hesitation. Breakfast is simply OUTSTANDING. Smorgasbord-style, colorful dishes, DELICIOUS FRESH FOOD, FRESH FRUIT, FRESH HOMEMADE Everything, Yogurts, Breads. I'm hungry remembering it all. ROOMS: We had a family room with bunk bed and we each were very comfortable. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. Refborg Hotel is a simple 1 minute walk to The Lego House in VERY SAFE AND QUIET (and that is so refreshing) downtown Billund. Cannot say enough good things about this fine establishment. BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE!

I can't think of a negative thing.

the location is perfect, near legoland, Lego house, food locations and there is a supermarket next door.. the rooms are like mini apartments and very comfortable. the breakfast buffet was exceptional, so good both mornings we had it, and it all you could eat.

if I had to be picky, I would have liked a full length mirror in the room, there is only one mirror and it’s in the bathroom. there’s no shower Matt so the floor can be slippy if it gets wet. the tv channels were limited and difficult to use but we weren’t spending much time watching tv anyways. there was no milk in the room, which is fine but there was tea and a kettle so I would have expected to have had even a small packet of milk

Amazing location for Lego House, you can see it from the front of the hotel. 15 min walk to Legoland. The bed was comfortable, and overall the space was clean. The room has nice area to relax in outside of the bedroom with a sofa, coffee table, a desk, and a huge spot to store your bag, with lots of great storage drawers. The room was very large and the property has a playroom on the same floor we stayed on.

Nothing major, just some things to note in case they matter to you. No black out curtains, just a roller shade on the windows, no door between bedroom and “main room” where the sofa/etc were. Bathroom had minimal counter space (pedestal sink). Overall the property was not terribly soundproof, so I heard people moving around above me, outside the door, outside the window.

A very nice 2 nights stay. The hotel is literally 5 minutes walk from Lego House. Superb location, cosy boutique and restaurant downstairs - excellent food&wine&cheese (kids portions can easily fit an adult:) ). The hotel consist 3 buildings (connected), so when there is a party in one part, it is perfectly quiet in the other. We loved the design - simple and practical. Extra points for heating - for me there is nothing like 'too hot water' and here is is, the water was super hot. Perfect after a day outside. Staff was very friendly, we had a night adventure and we have been greatly cared. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back again.

In our bathroom, the shower floor was broken.

A warm and welcoming atmosphere on entering the hotel, and that’s before you’ve even check in or spoken to any of the staff. Refborg is a wonderful, warm and down to earth kind of place, that feels more like a second home, then a hotel. If you’re looking for hygge, it’s here. The staff were all kind and helpful, the room was spacious with a lovely view of the Lego House, and the BREAKFAST BUFFET!! Oh my, that buffet was a whole, delicious, experience in itself. Refborg is also conveniently close to a corner store, so you can grab any of your essentials or snacks alike.

Just that we didn’t stay longer. Refborg will forever be our first choice.

Nice, small hotel located in the center of Billund. Shuttle bus to Legoland leaves about once in an hour in front of the hotel, by foot it takes about 15-20min. Breakfast was ok, they didn't have that wide selection, but everything what they had, tasted good and was fresh. Lunch in the restaurant was also very delicious.

Room (for 4 persons) was very small, looks bigger in the pictures. There was no space for suitcases etc. It was also extremely hot in the room, which is of course understandable without air-conditioning and +36°c outside.
