Easy and friendly check-in. Ricky is super nice and helpful! Big and clean room with a great balcony (Sea- and Poolview). Everything is in good condition, the small beach is just steps away. You can have drinks and meals at the great pool bar. The center is just 15 Min walk away (or you take a moto). Nice supermarket and laundry service just steps away.

The hotel is located near the playa chiquita casino, the area is very quiet away from the noise downtown. There is a parking lot next to the hotel if you have a rental car. there is a small beach near by that is private and hardly anybody there. The pool is awesome and there are cabanas where you can chill. there is a restaurant and bar on the premises. The manager Ricky lives on site and he is easily accessible. The room is large, the bed definitely a king size bed. There is a TV in the room and Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi is good, hardly went down. The balcony is large and i would lazy myself mainly in the afternoons in one of the chairs. The bathroom is huge and the shower can hold two people easily. The ceiling fan helped to keep the room cool whenever i didn't want to use the AC. from the main road, there are moto cancho that you use to reach downtown sosua or the beach if you don't have a car.

The hotel is quite a distance away from the bars and restaurant located downtown sosua. You need moto or rental car. You can walk but i won't recommend walk by yourself at night. Use cash to pay for your stay, there is 18% extra charge when you use your card. For me i think it was almost $60.

Check in/out is easy. Place feels less hotel and more staying in someone's house. Staff becomes your friend on a first name basis and they "take care of you" when needed.

You get what you pay for. It's a cheap option so don't expect much. Shower only had hot water in the morning. Soap dispenser and towel holder broke on first day.

this place is awesome Mari is the best met me at the door personally for check in love Ricky his energy is contagious my first night there I arrived exhausted took a nap woke up got some wings that were amazing everything I ate was delicious I mean everything fresh hmmm they have a pool table a pool giant jenga security and a safe I mean what more could ask for bar on the spot where Ricky be jamming he’s the manager I can’t wait to come back this time with more friends love you guys we forever familia now

literally nothing it’s perfect far enough to enjoy your peace but walking distance to sosua nightlife highly recommend staying here

- quiet surrounding - boutique style - spacious rooms - picturesque pool - space for parking the car - informative and respectful front desk manager - helpful and kind owner lady - late checkout available if no new arrival - nice music throughout a day (I'd suggest it be be very quiet after 10pm)

- paying by card requires +24% surcharge - distance to the centre is about 2km, but very easy to get there by cheap motorbike taxis (~50 pesos, ~1 dollar) - distance to the Sosua beach, but pool really makes up for it (nearby Chiquita Beach is rather small) - metal elements in the rooms and toilet require changing, as they are covered with rust. Also, bathrooms require a ventilator to fight the humidity - floors could be cleaned more precisely

The breakfast was fabulous, the place where it is located is amazing. it is a small but very cozy Hotel One of the beaches is 5 steps from the Hotel. My husband and I come to the DR a minimum of two times per year, by far Caribbean Diamond has been the most welcoming of hotels. This was our first stay at the hotel and it was because they were the only ones who offered to accommodate our unique arrival time of 4am. We arrived and were greeted warmly, quickly checked into our room. Ricky, General Manager should teach a course on the island regarding quality customer service. The entire team at the hotel insured that our questions and needs were met. We had a large group of friends and family, some residents and others tourist and everyone agreed this was a great selection. The hotel has a restaurant on-site with a delicious breakfast offering and dinner offering. However, you’re not far from a plethora of restaurants and small convenient stores. We are sad to leave because Ricky and his fabulous team made us feel like their family.

The hotel is small and intimate, well maintained but it’s not an all-inclusive resort for those seeking that travel experience. You’ll find however that the team at CDH will assist you with every need. This is a great hotel for those who place a positive environment over fluff.

Beautiful boutique property right on the beach. Beautiful clean pool. Food is delicious. Staff is AMAZING. Great people, great private vibe on a quiet street. Love it here. My new safe place in sosua.

Large and clean room. Large bed. There was hot water in the shower. The pool is nice and clean, also chilling beds near pool. You can eat all day at the restaurant, the quality of the food is fine. Ricky was really nice, he was actually the only one where we felt welcome. Good value for your money.
