Great hotel with amazing view of the nile. Large swimming pool and quiet rooms during the night. Walking distance to Luxor temple and the Luxor museum.

No faults really apart from bar prices were a bit steep but not unexpected in a hotel.

Location and view from balcony were great, breakfast was very nice with many options. Room was clean and nice, Bed is comfortable. Even the room and almost everything were old and some need to be renovated but overall was quite good. I asked the room service to fix the light since I had to work with laptop but they couldn't fix it due to it's too old. They brought me a floor lamp. :)

Should have more sockets and the light should have been fixed.

My 2nd stay during May at Aracan Eatabe Luxor Hotel. I returned due to the great staff,food and service. The Hotel has a great location on the East Bank of the Nile. Luxor Museum is situated a 8 minute walk away.Banks,Shops and a Chemist also nearby to the Hotel. The bedrooms are very clean and spacious with good internet provided free. Breakfast is Buffet style with a varied choice.The Egyptian breakfast dishes are excellent. Dinner is A la Carte at competive prices. The delightful bar for an evening drink is a must served by Ahmed. The Hotel has a super gym and Spa offering massages and treatments. The swimming pool and gardens are beautiful. Lunch and drinks served through out the day by Moustafa and Mohammed who will look after you by the Pool. A big thankyou to Alaa Ibrahim who provides House Keeping services during my stay. Alaa was most helpful and friendly.A credit to the Hotel. Guest Relations Manager Mr.Ali and his deputy Manager are always on hand to ensure your stay is first class. I look forward to my next stay at this friendly Hotel.

Eatabe Hotel is situated on the East Bank very close to Luxor Temple and the Museum. Banks and Chemist within a 2 minute walk. The Hotel is extremely clean and bedrooms are large with a balcony with good internet service. Breakfast Buffet offers a high standard with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. I enjoyed the stunning swimming pool surrounded by beautiful gardens. The Main bar offers a relaxing lounge atmosphere to enjoy a drink or two. Dinner Menu is A la carte and is great value for money and choice. A very warm welcome and quick Reception check in on arrival. Mr Ali,Customer service Manager is most professional at all times to ensure an excellent stay.His Deputy Manager is very friendly and she talks to guests to make sure guests are happy. All the staff are so friendly and hard working with a smile on their faces which made my stay so wonderful. The Hotel has a great Gym and Spa offering Massages. I used the gym with its large choice of equipment. I recommend this Hotel to anyone who wishes to visit Luxor. I have already booked my next stay. Great choice fresh bread. Ful madames were ok for breakfast but I would have preferred baked beans. I asked about the possibility of a bigger room that also overlooked the Nile and was promptly offered an upgrade at no extra charge - very impressive. Good coffee on offer downstairs and in the garden.

I loved the jacuzzi bath in our upgraded room but it didn't quite work. These baths need a decent supply of hot water. It took half an hour to fill our jacuzzi and during that time the water went cold. I topped it up with boiling water from the kettle but it wasn't enough. Some attention needs to be paid to rooms with jacuzzis

This is a lovely hotel in a convenient central location with a magnificent view of the Nile. I stayed in a comfortable spacious room. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. I am especially grateful to the team at the Gym and the Spa. The Salt Therapy makes miracles I recommend to everyone. The hotel provides delicious breakfast with a lot of variety starting as early as 5:30. This is a perfect time as most of the guests start excursions very early.

I guess it was out of season when I stayed at this hotel and it felt quite empty. Only a few guests.

The staff were generally helpful and talkative. Especially the travel agents at the front. Only issue in this regard was being able to get service by the pool/ food which seemed to take forever (over an hour in one case). The breakfast was good, with a spread out from 5:30 - very helpful for early starts/flights. You also get an amazing view of the balloons taking off at that time. Room service was prompt and had everything you needed to enjoy dinner with the beautiful view on the balcony. The pool is beautiful, though could benefit from a little shade and some service. Travel agents were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They also don’t try to rip you off, like some hotel agents do. They have reasonable prices. The room had a working safe, which is very beneficial for peace of mind.

We ordered some food by the pool which took over an hour (and two reminders) to get. The whole hotel could do with a freshen up, it’s a bit dated and needs a lick of paint! Ashtrays in the lobbies speak volumes. Rooms are also quite noisy. We had to sleep with earplugs because the road noise is not stopped at all by the wafer-thin windows. Morning prayer was a 5am wake up call!

The staff at the Aracan were amazing starting with Aly who went above and beyond to make our anniversary holiday something special. We arrived early in the day and they were able to accommodate us and get us a room of our choosing. Ahmed in the dining room was another amazing and tentative staff member along with the breakfast staff who would try to assist you in any way that they could. Our room had an amazing view of the Nile & the sunset every night. The location was excellent as well and would definitely stay there again. Oh almost forgot, the pool area was also a bonus along with the spa (the massage ladies were awesome and would book again as well).

The only complaint we had was that there was a couple bus loads of students and unfortunately they were running in the halls till after 1am and we had to get up at 2am to leave for the airport. We asked them to stop and also called the front desk multiple times when they did not but to no avail unfortunately.

We were greeted by manager Aly who took care of everything and made our stay amazing. He should receive a promotion, his service is first class. The hotel is in the perfect location for the east bank and to catch any boat to the west. The rooms were large, spotless and we were greeted with a fruit basket in the room. The view was beautiful and they accommodated our request for 1 double bed. Bedding was good and the pillows were comfortable and ergonomic. Also we were given a great offer for a couple massage and treatment for a very low price. It is worth negotiating for that and was a highlight of our stay.

Breakfast was not great, we only really enjoyed the fresh cooked eggs, but this is the same as all the other hotels we found in Egypt. The view from the breakfast was amazing and if you go early you can watch the balloons at sunrise

The staff were fantastic, Gigi and Ally (customer service) were great. Except one person Mohammed at the check in desk he was very confrontational and threatening (not a good experience). Given the high attention to our wellbeing. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the salt massage was fantastic, the decor needs a bit of updating. Pool was large and area was clean. Overall a great hotel, fantastic staff, food great, and they couldn’t do enough for you

Mohammed at reception needs to go customer service school. He even shouted at Ally who was trying to help me.
