I loved how friendly and patient the front desk staff were and the hotel was nice and clean.

The breakfast area was busy with a lot of guests which made the wait a bit long and the options served hot were just eggs, sausage patties and waffles. One suggestion would be to have all the warm food options readily available for easy self serving and to decrease wait times. Another thing to mention was when we first got in the room, it smelled a little dusty as though it wasn’t used in a little while. It just needed airing out a bit.

The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. We like the more quiet location away from the highway when we stay in Sarnia and being close to the waterfront for morning walks. Breakfast options are generous with bacon, eggs, and waffles as well as cereals, fresh fruit, toast bread, muffins and hot & cold drinks. something for everyone.

Since you’re close to the harbour and depending on ship activity you may hear the drone of engines running all night. It quickly becomes a background white noise but bring ear plugs if you’re sensitive.

The staff were friendly. Easy check in and check out. The rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable. Great breakfast. The young woman working the morning breakfast area was so sweet and personable. Overall we were happy with our stay.

The one thing I didn't like were the curtains. There were 2 sets of curtains. One was transparent and the other was heavy blackout style. The blackout style curtains didn't close, and the back light from outside was shining into our room. It made it hard to fall asleep with the light shining in. Also, for privacy, the curtains need to close.

Internal decoration, comfort, breakfast, kind staff, lounge area. The inside area of the hotel and the rooms seems to be recently renovated and are well maintained. Breakfast runs from 6 am to 10 am.

The outside of the property is not so “renovated” as its interior, and the proximity of the highway provides a not so nice view. But this did not impact the satisfaction of our stay. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very nice and renovated. Everything was clean and in great condition. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and everything you need for a night away. The breakfast was also a great bonus and there is a snack area near the front desk which was very convenient.

The only negative was the bathroom was a bit of a tight fit but it was very nicely renovated and clean so it is only a small negative.

This hotel is a real pleasant surprise, a gem.. The room and bathroom was very comfortable and clean. The flat screen was sensational and large. The breakfast was full breakfast and tasty. Sarnia, first time ever there appears to be a great small city sitting at the head of Lake Huron. My son and I drove over to the water before crossing back into the USA and were taken by the greenish-ocean-like appearance - beautiful in mid-fall but surely stunning in the summer months. We will visit here again in returning to Sarnia, Ontario.

Although the breakfast had a great variety, the hot items were cold. Great coffee! Enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and being especially helpful to solve a problem promptly. Was greatly impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general.

They don't accept cash for payment. Can't think of anything else specifically.

The nighttime receptionist was great in more ways than one. she was very helpful and very nice. she’ll be the reason why I would return.

The only issue was the transports using their engine brakes. don’t get me wrong I know what they are because I’ve been in the trucking industry for a very long time.

Amazingly clean, new feeling, front staff were very friendly ( checking in and checking out), VERY comfortable bed and pillows, quiet, excellent varied, hot breakfast. Will definitely use this location again and will look for other Comfort Inn on our trip.
