Staff was great and the managers welcome event was unexpected and very nice

No complaints at all. I would recommend not charging for pets at all, simply because at this hotel (and 2 others from other chains on this same trip) I was advised that "if it's a service animal, there is no charge." I think the person was being helpful in advising me of this fact. I was not completely being encouraged to lie but could have lied to just have my dog's stay be free. Instead, another competing hotel chain just welcomes pets for free. No charge, size limit or deposit, etc.. but you seem to be assigned to a room on the "pets" designated floor. Because of this, I would have stayed at that chain without even researching anywhere else, if there was a location in Lexington.

The location is great, close to anything anyone would want or need! The hotel pool, which I might add had a handicap lift and the hotel itself was very accessible. The pool, breakfast and amenities were nice. Comfortable seating outside, even a seating area for us smokers! This would be my choice hotel when staying in Lexington.

I feel like the carpet throughout could use a good cleaning and the floor in kitchen area of the room seemed a little sticky. But I don't go barefoot anywhere, just a suggestion!

Great clean hotel and friendly staff.

The parking at this hotel needs major upgrades. Handicap parking is almost nonexistent, with the markings all worn off on the four spots on the north side of the building . Those spots were always taken by vehicles with no handicap placard or tag. The handicap spots on the south side, next to pool, have no ramps for wheelchair access. Hotel needs to address this issue because they are definitely not a handicap friendly hotel.

Took a minute to figure out how to get the water to be out in the shower. Turning it all the way to the left did not make it hot. You had to have it in the middle to get hot water. Also, the Queen bed was very small.

It was in a great location. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was so friendly, outgoing and pleasant.

The only problem I noticed and I didn’t notice this until I was leaving because we didn’t stay in the hotel long was the bathroom door frame had dried human feces on it. So it needs a good cleaning. I’m sure a kid wiped their fingers on it and no one noticed. As a Mom, I noticed because I notice everything. They should give the rooms a good cleaning and wipe down from top to bottom.

Breakfast offerings were fair. Location was off the main road which was very nice. Easy access to shopping, eating, interstate, etc.

The living room could have used more than just a couch. An extra chair would go a long way for family use of the suite. Breakfast house could be extended.

We really loved the one-bedroom suite with the 2 beds and the sofa bed was new and very comfortable. The room was well designed and had all the facilities mentioned in the booking.com website. Overall, we enjoyed our brief one-day stay in this hotel.

Thermostat did not work. I had to replace batteries. TV was old and color was off. Ask to replace butt never did. Lack of maintenance people on staff. Expensive for what we received.

I found the check in to be trouble free. The worker was courteous. I stayed at the Embassy Suites by the Fayette Mall and there were cleanliness issues. This hotel was cleaner and offered a better value.

Actually, the breakfast was a bit if a disappointment. The breakfast casserole did not taste good. I did make a waffle however.
