Staff, coffee, room comfort, etc.

The breakfast was absolutely HORRIBLE. Egg patties and sausage patties (steamed) are some of the worst I have had in recent memory. The waffle machine/batter is hard to mess up - so they were good. Fruit, juices, muffins, etc. were good. Bacon on Tuesday's and Thursday's ONLY? Why is that? That bacon was razor thin and FULL of nitrates. Listen - I know we are in a crap economy - but most folks would appreciate a decent breakfast - especially when it comes to eggs and sausage. It really was THAT bad!

We love this hotel. We have been twice in two months. I love the Texas waffles. And the beds are so comfortable I dream about the beds and pillows while I am away. They are the reason we love coming back.

That one front desk lady. You know the one. She is not nice. I don’t love interacting with her at any time. This last time was the first time we had poor customer service. The front desk lady was not very friendly, she was short and rude at times. The previous time we had great customer service from the other two front desk staff but this lady is always rude. We call her sunshine due to her “sunny deposition”.

Breakfast was standard. Room was spacious. Personnel, especially the night clerk, were friendly and helpful.

This hotel is not very old and yet the carpet is stained, some scuff marks on the walls, the bathroom was a strange setup and had water damage on the ceiling and walls. When I crawled into bed, I found someone's dirty socks. The sheets had not been changed. The night clerk brought me new sets of sheets for both beds but there was no housekeeping at that time of night.

We stayed in the area for my BIL's funeral. The hotel staff were exceptional, understanding of family coming and going. The security guards were also exceptional and understanding of those times when the family needed to walk around at odd times, knowing the need for self reflection and to gather to talk. The rooms are large, comfortable and have all of the things one might forget when under a trying time. The hotel, parking lot and surrounding area is extremely clean and feels safe. Restaurants and convenience stores are nearby, so it's in a great location. I-35 runs adjacent, but it's far enough from the street that you don't hear the traffic. This hotel is highly recommended.

The breakfast could have been a bit more diverse - only offered Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches with sausage, which personally I can't eat sausage. No toast, bagels, waffles were offered. There was no fruit, but did offer yogurt in one flavor. Apple, Orange juice and coffee were the standard drink options.

Location was perfect. I didn’t get a chance to eat breakfast when I was there only because the bed took me out. So, that leads up to my question. What was the name of that bed. I need that brand at home. Please let me know the brand of that bed. Thank you so much.

The restroom downstairs were not looking clean.

Location was great. Staff was courteous. Near the Army base that my dad was hospitalized at. Great selection of restaurants nearby and only 10-15 minutes from downtown.

There were some repairs made in our room without our notice. We came back from lunch and saw some drywall filler was slapped on, then the manager came and told us about it.

Staff and room was great. The breakfast was very basic, but it's free so can't complain. Only downside is my bathroom. I always expect hotels to have pristine bathroom that was not the case but it was nothing too bad.

refrigerator had food in fridge. when we opened it, it stunk! also there was a dirty wash cloth on the shower curtain from the previous guests. I guess they didn’t switch out shower curtains.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable from the moment we walked in. The rooms were a great size. We had housekeeping everyday, although we didn’t use them everyday. The location was great. We felt we were in the middle of everything and had easy access to what we needed. The service was great. I did not get the name of the lady that checked us in, but she was very nice. The pool was a bit small, but we had it to ourselves most of the time so it was great! The pool was clean and the fountains made it even nicer. We didn’t ever get breakfast due to always being out, but when we tried we never saw any. It wasn’t a big deal though as we only tried a couple of times. We would definitely stay here again!
