The staff were so friendly! We travelled down for a local music festival and called the day before regarding early check in which a helpful member of staff arranged for us. We found that upon arrival there was a billboard set out with all the info we needed for travel to the music festival but the staff were also really knowledgeable about any questions we had. The breakfast the next morning - helpfully included in the price - was delicious too. It was very varied and good value. Location was good too, with a petrol station right next door where we could buy any snacks or toiletries we still needed, and a McDonald's was a few minutes walk away too. We will definitely stay here again.

Nothing! The taxi to the festival was a little expensive but this is to be expected - we heard there was a lot of trouble on the day in regards to parking, traffic and drop off zones so we were happy we had a local taxi rank that knew how to avoid this. So it was worth the price, although pricey. Just one to know and plan ahead for this cost next time.

There were tables for guests immediately outside the main entrance and smokers were sitting outside in the sunshine . Our room was above and so we were unable to open our window on what was a very warm day. Perhaps a seating area for smokers away from guest bedroom windows could be provided ? Breakfast was great. The food area, however was very small for the size of the hotel. It was rather crowded and some hot food unavailable. No towel hooks in bathroom .

The room was not big enough for family with two kids. When they pulled out the second bed, there were no space for anything else. We could only do sidewalk, I have a big bruise on my leg as I kept hitting my leg all the time when I passed the bed. Our newborn slept in the pram half of the night next to the door in the room because there was no space to put it somewhere else in the room. We did not get a cot bed as well. We would not have space for it anyway. So in general it is a good hotel if you are traveling without small kids

Twin room was booked. The room is clean and cosy. Beds are comfortable. TV in the room with a table and relaxing chair near the bed. In between the bed is a bedside table. Shower is clean and you are provided with wash stuff if you forget your own. Breakfast is a buffet style breakfast. You have the option to select, fruit (banana, apple, oranges) and juices along with Tea / coffee / hot chocolate. A range of cereals and yogurts and hot food, Eggs, sausage, bacon, beans scrambled egg with baps. In the lounge there is a bar, where you can watch TV. If Football is on, it tends to be shown. There are a few areas for seating to watch or if you prefer not to you can sit in a quite area.

Wifi is Free and is not always great in terms of signal.

My friends had an issue trying to get their booking. They had two separate bookings but the receptionist made it out when they cancelled one room then it cancelled both rooms, which it wouldn't. Even though the staff were acommodating, it felt like the customer was in the wrong when this is untrue. 6am the day after, their second room got cancelled (probably by holiday inn) so it didn't really make much sense.

The room was comfortable, clean and modern. Corridors and general areas were also good apart from the dining area which could have benefitted from some cleaning of the carpet. There was a very good choice of food and drinks for breakfast and, overall, this was very good except that the hot food tended to be a little on the cool side, particularly the scrambled eggs which were stone cold. The staff were all extremely pleasant throughout the hotel. If you can find some way of keeping the food hot you will rate ten out of ten.

The room was properly set up for our family of three, with the sofa bed ready for our arrival. The room itself is very clean too. The staff is attentive and helpful. They gave us options for ordering food on our arrival, which really helps after a long drive. The hotel itself has a bar for a quick drink, should you need one. Wi-Fi is available at the hotel and offers a good connection in the rooms too. Breakfast is as expected, and is at par with our stays at other Holiday Inn Express locations. It includes both hot and cold options, with juices, tea and coffee included in the tariff. Location is great for accessing the motorway. We were staying there to visit the WB Harry Potter Studio and the hotel is ideally suited for a quick drive to the location.

Once the sofa bed is up, there is very little room left to walk around. It's a good thing we arrived later in the day, so we were ready for dinner and sleep. No complaints though, as they did the best they could.

Lovely clean room. Very comfortable beds and duvet. Great shower. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were tidy and functional. Very unusual to have a 'smart' TV with internet connection. We lived in this area until a few months ago and so the location was perfect for us to visit friends etc. Also, has a great variety of shops on the doorstep, M&S, Sainsbury's, Boots. Next, TK Maxx and JD Sports. Great breakfast!

The room could have more clothes storage, ie drawer space. Other than that the room was perfect for our needs. I would imagine that the hotel tends to cater for business travel and so the lack of drawer space wouldn't really be an issue. Plus, our room was a very good price considering that it included a really nice breakfast.
