Comfy beds good size rooms clean and cool as it was a hot day outside

No advertising or information about the local pubs and restaurants in the area, we found a lovely local pub restaurant in the neighbouring village of tibshelf called the George and dragon and the food and the service was excellent and friendly staff so I got a menu and contact details from the pub to put in the reception of the hotel for future guests but the cleaner put it behind the reception desk which is not manned 24 hours so how will people know where is good to eat instead of the fast food outlets in the services needs addressing and could keep future guests very happy to know about the local area and the places they can go outside of the service area

Bathroom as ok - bath with a shower over - I would prefer a shower cubicle but that's just personal preference. Comfortable bed. Good size desk which is great when you have to work. Good budget hotel which provides just what you need for a night or two when working away from home.

Located in a motorway service area which is very convenient and parking charge included, but not the smartest MSA and the only food available at 9.00 was McD's. I am OK with McD's but would have liked more choice!

Staff were super helpful, particularly liked that the extra beds in the family room were separate from the main area.

Would have preferred a tv in the annexe where the single beds were. My friend uses a Cpap machine at night and the power cord was across the walking area as there were no power outlets at the head end of any of the beds, most people would charge their phones overnight and not want to have to get out of bed to answer it or cancel alarm in the morning.

The property was right next to the services so lots of options for food and we found the secret exit (not in to the M1) and real bonus. Well positioned and staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Would stay again. Dogs also welcome.

Hotel is a little tired in places but that is to be expected given the price of the stay. We were upgraded and had lots of extra space.

This location is not recommended for nightlife but for a good nights sleep it’s perfect. Plenty of amenities on the doorstep and safe parking. The team at Days Inn are always pleasant, helpful and obviously want you to enjoy your stay. It’s perfect for myself and my son when travelling around visiting family, if it were closer to Norfolk I’d stay there for no reason 😂 why not just book it for some quality alone time ?! 🤷‍♀️ Thanks for a perfect stay, again , merry Christmas 🎄❤️

I only booked one night due to restrictions and reduced family visits , next time I’ll take the week. The sockets aren’t close to the bed. That’s all

Great location for heights of abreham and surrounding area such as alton Towers and gullivers. Hotel location has a grassy area for kids to stretch their legs or just to chill after a long drive. Staff that i did meet (blonde on reception) was welcoming as needed to be, polite... We will use this hotel again.

Nothing to dislike apart from the nobber that pranged our car in carpark and drove off.

You can stay here if you want just to sleep and then continue your trip.

The hotel needs renovation as soon as possible. Everything is used and like my children said:"this hotel is creepy". The hotel looks old, cleaning is not too good, it smells weird on the hallways and in the room.

Was a little weary when booking as my wife is disabled but no reason to have worried all was fine. The accommodation was wonderfully clean and the staff where wonderful and did all they could to help. Also the gardens outside have been done as a tribute to one of the staff who had passed and what a beautiful job was done pictures to follow.

Me and my wife spent our first night together here when we first met and 8 years later we still choose to come here we just love the vibe from this place, the staff are always so kind and helpful if you need anything. You've got the services with shops, mcds, costa next door, free parking, what more could you want :)

Could be cleaned slightly better, and renovated to more modern features and decor but still love the place

The staff were wonderful. I a recovering from a stroke so my sense of balance is still somewhat lacking. The staff noticed this and went out of their way to make sure I was OK. The hotel is only 10 minutes away from the dismantled railways that were the purpose of my visit. I was doing this on a tricycle which is rather heavy to lift into my car. For one night I asked if I could leave my trike at the back of the hotel. I was amazed to be allowed to leave it the ground floor meeting room. Such was my welcome that I felt like I was in a family ambiance.

Everything was superb, nothing to not like.
