Location, and design style were all very positive, breakfast was lovely although a little pricey, 24/7 bar was great, but food offer ending a 6pm is rather limiting..!

Property is not being maintained hence looks quite aged, cladding panels are fallen from outside walls above the entrance, and carpets are all threadbare. Bedroom tv is very small and not Smart, and door woodwork enclosing the wet rooms are in a pretty poor order..! Hotel also needs a proper food offer that goes on beyond 6pm, and £10 for a cold wrap is a little too pricey for my taste..

It What is a smart modern, looking building very clean inside, Clean comfortable room, nice clean towels and bed, The shower is a good size. You’re not touching the walls in there!. We had two pillows each and we could order soft or hard pillows. If we wanted extra there is room service we went down to the restaurant to eat. The food was spectacular. I would recommend the mour burger, The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and extremely helpful. There was plenty of parking in the car park with CCTV Me and my wife had an incredible relaxing stay.

I noticed that in some places, the carpets were a bit worn, although they were clean

After experiencing a slight problem with our room (unable to turn off an extremely and dangerously hot towel rail) Reception and Housekeeping reacted superbly. We were assigned to a different room which was totally acceptable. A special mention MUST be made to a member of the Housekeeping staff who dealt with the matter perfectly. His name was Anthony and I believe on site he is referred to as Tony. He is to be commended.

When arriving in the dining area for breakfast there were no plates available and we had to wait for a supply of plates to be provided. One or two of the plates subsequently provided had not been cleaned satisfactorily. We also had to wait for a vacated table to be cleared of crockery and cleaned, Several other vacant tables also required crockery etc. to be removed and the table tops cleaned. Staff reacted reasonably quickly to address the issues but the on duty staff perhaps should have been more proactive to ensure guests were able to take their places at table without having to request the removal of dirty crockery etc and the tables cleaned.

The location of the hotel, room was spacious and facilities seemed to be good.

The mattress was too firm I know it's personal preference but perhaps something a bit more comfortable that your body gets cradled by instead of laying on top of a hard rectangle also the pillows they always seem to either be too soft with not enough filling so you have to use more than two or too hard. I know because of turn around they're standardized but could do with some pillows that actually support your neck and are comfortable because at the end of the day you're there to sleep amongst other things so I'd rather have comfort and less facilities than the other way around.

easy to access, staff extremely friendly and efficient - we had hired a function room for a private party with our own family catering and the staff went over and above to assist with room layout and access to the room both in advance and for tidying up after the event - this part of the stay would rate 5 stars all round.

some of us stayed in the rooms overnight and again found the breakfast room and reception staff extremely friendly and efficient, welcoming and helpful. a few of our guests had some minor failings with their rooms eg Wi-Fi and our window blinds were difficult to operate but as I say minor stuff and overall did not detract from a wonderful stay. in particular the 3staff who assisted with bar duties for our evening event especially the manager for the night were excellent

comfortable spacious room, air conditioned. comfortable seating and area to work, large tv. bathroom good size with rainforest shower. concerns with the step up to shower and basin a little slippery when wet especially if you forget to put the bath mat down before you get in! Breakfast buffet/service depends on numbers in the hotel if low numbers cooked to order.

more hanging space. tea and coffee tray was dirty and when picking up the cups seems some remnants of sugar. limited plugs whilst USB sockets were also available only location of sockets were at the desk/dressing area and limited to two plus. More needed by bed. Not an issue with the hotel but something for travellers to be aware of timing essential to miss the traffic if commuting into Mansfield and back to hotel, good 30-40 mins

Very modern and classy looking, inside and out. Nice rooms, good restaurant and facilities, good food. I've stayed here several times, and will again if circumstances allow.

A lot of the food was fried and rather oily, which was a bit unpleasant after a few days, but mostly the food was good. The interior could really do with refurbishment, as I found the room a bit tatty in places. I think this was a great hotel a few years ago, but hasn't had enough investment as the carpets are a bit threadbare and furniture is a bit worn. Overall tho it's a good, comfy place and surprisingly reasonable.

The hotel was lovely, very inviting in the Christmas spirit, however the reception staff were pretty neutral in their manner and efforts. Shame as the venue for the party was great, the room was roomy and clean and the shower was amazing. There was plenty of variety for breakfast buffet style, although I'd much prefer a fresh pot of tea or coffee rather than a luke warm machine made drink.

Room was cold on arrival, took a long time to get it warm. Lifts can take a long time for some reason.

We always stay at the Mour when working in area . Generally good quality food snd drinks

Booked for 2 nights and the room want serviced in between. Didn't expect clean sheets and/or towels but at least top up the tray and make the bed. The 2nd night wasn't any cheaper!
