Location is perfect, very close to the Old Town with all the tourist spots nearby. There are very good restaurants and shopping options nearby as well. The rooms are spacious with adequate bed sizes. Clean towel, blanket and pillow were provided. A great plus is the locker facility which adds an extra layer of safety. The lockers are quite big and I could comfortably safekeep my valuables. The kitchen had all essential utensils and oven and refrigeration facilities. There were two large common rooms with television so that it was nice socializing with other residents. The sofas were comfortable and some basic board game options are also available. The cleanliness of the bath areas can be improved. Apart from that, the reception staff is very helpful and polite, with great local recommendations. Overall it was worth every euro.

The cleanliness of the bath areas could have been maintained well. Some of the bath areas felt crammed. It would have been nice if the towels were changed regularly.

I liked the room, the hostel itself seemed cosy, and the location of the hostel is great. The staff were helpful and attentive.

The beds are too soft for me, I do prefer harder mattresses... Another drawback was that the curtain on the window could be more effective in making the room black, it would help sleep better after the sunrise, which in Tallinn can be quite early in the summer. Maybe if the curtains were a bit wider, and of denser/darker material, and installed closer to the window so that there was no gap between the curtains and the wall, that would do the trick. Not sure if there was the same problem in other rooms, or not.

16eur - Old Town Munkenhof is in a great location in the Old Town. The hostel was very affordable and perfect for me passing through. I was exploring most of the time so I didn't spend much time in the hostel, but there was several rooms for relaxing and playing games and also a large kitchen. There was complimentary coffee which was really great. Check-in was super easy using the codes and details provided via Booking.com. I really appreciated this

It was a bit noisy at night, but that is just the nature of an 8-bed hostel room so this is to be expected not a fault of the hostel

Excellent location in the heart of the city, inside city walls. Easy check-in and check-out. Big locker with a free key in the room. Comfortable bed. The room was clean. Big kitchen and dining room. Two big day rooms as a common area.

Could be more showers in the place. And the could be cleaned better every day. One of them broke one day during my stay and it was not fixed to the end of my stay. In the other one somebody fall asleep one night and it was closed whole night. The next day it was flooded, so out of service. And another bathroom was dirty for over a day.

everything was really good!! beds were comfortable, everything was clean, the lockers were big. showers and toilets were clean as well, nothing to complain really. kitchen also had everything you need and the common room was really cozy. the location is everything!!! exactly in the centre of old town, every place was close. i meet some amazing people there and would recommend to everyone staying here! will be back when in tallinn

This hostel is like finding treasure in the perfect location—exactly in the middle of everywhere you want to be! The rooms are spotless, so clean you might start doubting your own housekeeping skills. There’s a vending machine and a coffee machine that’ll make you question if you even need to leave the building (but you should, the location is that good). And the staff? They’re so helpful, they’ll probably help you solve life problems, not just hostel ones. Definitely staying here again, if only for the coffee machine.

Excellent, the place they let me leave a suitcase because I will return in a few days to the same place and everything is fine. They gave me places to visit. There are places bar and restaurant very close by and the museums

The kitchen needs some upgrades. Also not the most social hotel if that is what you are looking for, but if not, very functional

Hostel located in the actual old town not far from all the sights and restaurants. Easy walk from ferry terminal. Staff was really helpful with late arrival and self check-in providing needed details. Room had high ceiling and plenty of space despite house in old town. Quiet street with no traffic.

Someone arrived even later than me and had trouble locating his space, entered/exited the room multiple times while talking to manager on the phone.

I booked a bed in 10-bed dormitory and the room was freshly renovated (the receptionist told me). Big and comfortable beds, 2 power sockets and a personal reading lamp next to each bed. The place looks very clean, so were the bathrooms. On the first floor there is a big kitchen and nice dining room. The keyless system is perfect, the receptionist sent me all the information before check-in so messing around with keys. Overall a great experience, thank you guys!
