Great place to stay. We travelled on a budget so bought their cheapest room. It was tiny, but warm and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was a great bonus. Reception manager was superb. Restaurant was delicious. Breakfasts are excellent. Crepes with jam and sour cream... deeelishus. Oh and the sausage meat balls... def don't miss them. WIll stay again, but maybe will be able to spring for a suite next time....

Our room overlooked an alley where the big metal rubbish bins are. Yeah.. someone moved them at 4am on our first evening. But mentioned it to the reception manager and it didn't happen again. (Note: the bins don't belong to the hotel.)

Long walk with heavy baggage from entrance to room. Upstairs along corridors back downstairs. Know it is expected in quaint places but anyone less mobile be warned. Glass sliding door covering shower? More water in than out. No waste bin in Room, no defined place for cups /kettle just on top of little fridge. Room very dark in daytime. We had a great time just a few niggles. Ask for room 1 to 3

Very nice room with very comfortable beds. Enjoyed having a refrigerator in room. Breakfast was wonderful. Location was excellent. Would stay here again.

No parking available. We were initially referred to a nearby EuroPark lot for 20euros /24 hours. We stayed two nights so extra 40 euros. We later discovered a lot not too much further for 6 euros/24 hours which we wish we had known about. So, not the fault of the property, but it would have been good information to have at check-in.

The location is fantastic - could not be beat. There are not many hotels in the historic center, so this is a definite plus. The building is gorgeous - lots of character. Hallways full of twists & turns. Staff helpful with info & check in.

The room was quite small, but for just one person it was serviceable. Getting to the room was a bit complicated. There are signs, but it would be helpful to be taken to the room. Also, not advisable if you have any kind of mobility issues or heavy luggage.

Great location in the heart of old town. Our room was large and comfortable and quiet (as it was at the back of the building). CRU also has an excellent Michelin rated restaurant, which we ate in one night. Breakfasts offered lots of choice.

Only slight downside of our room. there was little natural light - due to position within old building, rather than lack of windows. But we were rarely in there during the day, so no real problem, and we did like the quirky nature of the building.

Perfect location, room had everything I needed, friendly and helpful staff. My heart sank when I saw it was next to a karaoke bar… but I didn’t hear a thing so it wasn’t a problem at all. Surprisingly quiet and peaceful given its location right in the centre of town.

It’s a small thing but it would be helpful if there was somewhere to plug my phone in closer to the bed. Also just an FYI, the reception is unmanned overnight. It didn’t present a problem for me despite leaving very early in the morning, but might be a concern for other solo travellers.

The female receptionist was so friendly on our arrival. We were early but she was able to find out if our room was ready and we had early access for which we were so grateful. We were in Tallinn for my wife’s birthday, and on the actual day, we had a very pleasant surprise waiting in our room 🍾 🥂 - what a lovely gesture from the hotel! Everyone was so helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Bathroom was small, shower leaked and there was a drain smell.

Stayed 2 days ( Rm 10) at the beginning and 2 days at the end of our Estonia rental car tour of the country. Hotel is in a 1600's building beautifully remodelled to show exposed timber beams, stone walls, and wood flooring. Street is pedestrian only and quiet at night, no nearby pubs. Rooms quiet and clean. The manager is very nice and extremely helpful with advice and information both on weekends and on weekdays. Very good variety in the complementary breakfast. Hotel about 200 meters away from Town Hall square. Many very good restaurants nearby. No elevator for rooms located on 2nd and 3rd levels of 3 story building. BEWARE cheater-ripoff taxis. Best to ask hotel reception to call one of a couple of reliable meter-using taxi companies. One good one is "Tallinktakso" but only those that show "1921" (their local telephone number) in big letters on the right sides of the taxi car. The other good one is the white car"Forustakso" with a large colorful flowery logo on the left sides of the car. Car or taxi pick-up is at or near the Viru Gate flower market located about 100 meters away from the hotel. The rental car came from a highly recommended local car rental company called Easycarrent.ee (Rauno Hinno,Manager). Beware there are many speed cameras between cities in Estonia. You only need to be 4 km over the speed limit to receive a speeding citation with the fine later collected through your car rental company.

The size of the room is excellent, the furniture a little bit old fashioned The offering of the breakfast has a wide variety, we estimated especially the offering of the fruits. The service employees are very thoughtful.

The noise in the night was very disturbing, the noise of shouting persons and very loud music lasted until 4:00 in the morning. That is by far too long. Until midnight would be acceptable because of the situation of the hotel in the middle of the old town. Sleeping with open window is impossible. The meals of the main courses at the restaurant were not warm enough, twice we ask for re-heating.
