The hotel was beautifully situated in the old town and within walking distance of all the sights. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was sumptuous with bath robes, slippers and lots of toiletries. Our bed was very comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. There was a good selection of drinks and eats in the mini bar. The selection at breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals and delicious breads and croissants. I had a perfectly cooked full English breakfast. Everything about our stay was perfect and we have every intention of returning in the near future. It gets 5 stars from us!

We should have stayed longer

We stayed for two nights in this lovely hotel which is conveniently located in Tallinn’s old town. Parking is available a few minutes walk away, you can either pay directly at the parking (which did not work for us as our foreign credit cards were not accepted) or via the hotel. The hotel is located in a historic building which was beautifully converted into a hotel. Breakfast is served in the vaulted cellar, buffet-style, and comes with a wide selection of pastry, bread, cheese, sausage,… In addition, hot breakfast such as eggs or porridge are served on demand. Our room was very well kept and had a really nice window niche with cushions to chill in. The bathroom came with a bathtub-shower combo and great toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion). A bathrobe was provided, too (which I love…).

There is only very limited room for improvement from our perspective. One is that we found the atmosphere a bit too “stiff”, but this is more our personal taste and thus not a real critique. The other is that you are asked to not take the room key with you, but have it stored at the reception. Again, just something we found a bit odd, or old-school, but not a complaint of any sort. Overall, this is a lovely traditional hotel in a great location.

Very nice atmosphere and interior of the Hotel. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated, the bathroom was also spacious, bright and functional. Excellent bath products. All in all all the premises, public and private, had a nice old-time atmosphere. Excellent breakfast, you could not hope for anything more. Fresh tasty products, so many things to choose. Warm dishes are made to order just for you and they are so tasty. Breakfast is topped off with a glass of sparkling wine. The service is excellent, we needed help before arrival with some reservations and this was taken care off so well. The beauty salon they recommended was really good. The service in breakfast room and in the reception was considerate. We highly recommend Schlössle Hotel and are sure that we will be back on our next visit to Tallinn.

The only thing we could fault were the pillows in the bed, they could have been more plush and firm.

This is a charming historic property, our room was up an old spiral stone staircase. Beautiful historic details and a comfortable room with a great bed. The location could not be better, right in the historic heart of the Lower City of Tallin. We had a warm and informative reception and loved the the friendly service oriented team. Great breakfast with a selection of hot dishes and a cold buffet served in the charming cellar dining room - (arched stone ceilings). Would highly recommend!

Everything was great!

The hotel was spotless and vert clean, very quiet and breakfast was excellent - selection on offer and service provided was excellent. Room service was probably the best we ever had. Prosecco for breakfast was a lovely extra. Excellent location to old town as within its limits, very close to airport 10-15 minutes. Tallinn port about 7 minutes away for Helsinki tour.

The hotel isn't a big as their website would suggest, there isn't a hotel bar. We did go for the old-style hotel, which was lovely, but it was smaller than we thought. Be careful if coming back from Helsinki ferry, taxi did rip us off, it was raining heavily, but we should have agreed a price to hotel. Didn't really realise until hotel booked our taxi back to airport how much he over charged us.

Everything. Schlossle is a true 5-star hotel. Amazing service, incredibly comfortable rooms with everything you may need. Breakfast also with plenty to choose from. The team here is perfect, they help with everything and even helped us to get a table at a always fully booked restaurant in town (thank you Elar!!). The location is superb, everything is within walking distance. There is a turn down service in the evening that is wonderful. The sauna is also very good and clean - a must try while staying here.

There is nothing that I did not like.

An old style 5 star inn with ski lodge vibes and charm. Located in a historical setting the breakfast spread was second to non, and staff all exceptional. Although a fair few rooms, my accommodation experience felt unique to me and the hotel never felt crowded. High quality bathroom products and utensils. Private sauna slots and evening turndown service a nice touch. I wish i'd stayed for longer!

Honestly nothing that affected my stay. To be clear, this is a 5 star boutique hotel in an historical building. You are never going to block out the noise of guests in other rooms entirely, however noise was barely noticeable.

Gorgeous old building conveniently situated in Old Town. Rooms are cute although a bit small, which is understandable. The staff is very polite and serviceminded. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and a good selection. You could order a la carte items from the menu. Despite the few inconveniences we enjoyed our stay.

Our room was a big too hot at night and the sheets were too small for a double bed and kept rolling off. The housekeepers closet was next door to our room so a lot of banging sounds could be heard.

Chocolate box frontage, exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable staff, impeccable location, top notch nosh. Felt luxuriously posh but friendly, welcoming & comfortable. The staff couldn’t do enough to make their guests feel at home. From the passing of an umbrella to a chat over a nightcap in the lobby at the end of a long day sightseeing. The courtyard view was lovely from my window reading seat. Watching the crow chick waiting for mummy was an additional memorable treat. It was my 4th time in Tallinn and by far the best stay. Aitäh to all!!!!

During a busy checking in time we managed to miss out on our welcome drink and despite emailing the hotel directly at the time of booking to inform them that I was holidaying with my mum to celebrate her ‘special’ birthday and them replying to say they’d do something a little special in the room for her, it was forgotten about and we ended up with a small double bed instead of a twin. But it was so cosy and comfy that we didn’t mind and it was a small negative compared to how much we enjoyed our overall stay.

The attention to detail is incredible, from the staff, the food, the cleanliness and the overall way the hotel is maintained. Great location in the centre of the old town. Use of the sauna is included too. The guest list is impressive, including now King Charles, Sting, Duran Duran and numerous government officials from around the world.

Nothing really, except maybe in the Superior garden room we had, the bathroom shower (over bath) arrangement could be updated in line with the impeccable standards of this hotel.
