We arrived at anchorage Resort with very little knowledge of how things worked and what to see. Firstly there is no beach but a beautiful tranquil bay. They have a excellent on-site restaurant and pool. The food is great but the prices are steep and but unfortunately the resort restaurant is the only place that has any meals as you are 15min drive from any town. The staff are exceptional and very friendly and helpful You can organise a private driver who will drive you where ever you want and it works out more affordable having one than going on tours Plus they know how to navigate the streets and the know how on what to see. 👀 Be prepared for lots of walking though as Anchorage Resort is based on a hill over looking the bay. Beautiful scenery and even though the accommodation needs some work the beds are clean and comfortable and showers hot If you want modern over the beach villas as there's no beach and your not on the bay either as the villas line the road side going up to reception and down to the pool and restaurant. Ocean view apartment are opp the pool and over looks the gardens and out onto the bay. Very quiet and relaxing but everything as in sightseeing must be booked well in advance. Sunday everything shuts including the the towns and shops ect. Highly recommend The mud baths $30, Orchard Garden at the sleeping giant $25 and the culture night tour and dinner $160 p/p and well worth every cent. Beachcomber Island was OK and unfortunately when we went over everything as in water activities were closed. $125 p/p We had a buffee lunch which was quiet nice and then two glass bottom and snorkling.

Early starts and the humidity is atrocious As for Anchorage I don't really have anything I didn't like as there was always transport available if needed and they did try there very best to accommodate anything we needed.

Had two different rooms here both close to pool and restaurant. Kava ceremony at restaurants. Staff remembered us and our name. Reception organised see me tours Fiji to take us to mud pools and temple and airport who turned up on time and spoke to us about Fijian culture and Hindu religion. Spa baths in both rooms although we didn’t use. Air conditioning on humid nights. Bananas outside window on one side as sea views on the other. Ease of access to beachcomber island and boat trips.

We were woken at 7.30am by the sugar train however this was a novelty in itself. Was a lovely stay but we’d been to sister resort beachcomber for 3 nights and we loved that more, however showers and bathrooms are better at anchorage.

Waterfront location and not too far from Nadi Airport. Booked the transfer which was excellent with driver Chris who was there waiting for us. $39 per couple each way and less hassle that organising own taxi etc. Massive room and bathroom over looking the ocean and pool. Read someone else's review and followed their advice to walk along the train track to Vuda Marina, 15 minute walk to lovely marina, restaurant and bar. But be aware that sugar cane trains still use this track! Don't be caught out like us at night, not much room to get off the tracks! Fun adventure though.

Price of a very bad cocktail! But we were on holiday and didn't bother ordering a second. Beer was cheap. Didn't eat at the restaurant as went to meet friends at the Marina.

Nice place for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Nice view from the rooms and great swimming pool. Cafe served nice breakfast and dinner at reasonable price

Bed sheets and towels need upgrading as they seem old and overused

The facilities were ample and the staff exceptional. Food was always exceptionally presented, and the continental breakfast spread was more than enough to get you through the day if required. The chefs specials in the morning was always appreciated and something the kids and I looked forward to daily. Brilliant way to the start the day. Staff were always eager to help. The resort does need a concierge service. Nothing was too difficult to request, and the staff make this resort so so special.

Prefer breakfast be available earlier than 0700 for early starts and the facilities, though satisfactory are starting to look tired and need a refurbishment.

The staff were really friendly and helpful Based on recent reviews on your website I was a little nervous about out our choice of hotels However, I was very happy with my choice. My son and his 2 young daughters stayed for 5 nights and found the location very convenient. The resort provided a free bus each day to nearby Nadi and Lautoka and taxis were affordable. The pool was pleasant and refreshing. It was not possible to swim or snorkle from the shore but even on Beachcomber Island you need a boat ride to the reef. I hired a taxi to take me to Natadola beach, which about 2 hours from Anchorage. There is godd snorkelling right off the beach there. The roads are good and the driver was excellent and the price was reasonable. He waited while I swam/snorkelled. The boats to the islands leave from the jetty there.

For me the facilities and the rooms are ok but what exceeded my expectations was the staff, I asked for early check in which the staff were happy to accommodate especially they heard that we had been travelling for 48 hours, we had a great rest, my daughter threw up from the long flight and the staff quickly changed the linen so that we could get back to sleep. We got up so early the next day due to jet lag and the restaurant was not open yet, the staff let us have breakfast at 6.30am and they played with my daughter so I could finish my breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay and was a good recharge for us before we continued with our day

The towels were a little small, the rooms could do with a little repairing

Bed was a bit hard and the sugar cane train comes through at night and can be noisy which I didn't mind but just for other traveller's to be cautious of!

Friendly staff, clean grounds , clean pool , delicious meals , free transport to Nadi or Latouka each day

No wifi in our room. Only at the restaurant Bus to Nandi was always only in the afternoon , alternate do some days you can take bus to Nadi in the morning and Latouka in the afternoon.
