Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa

Beachfront room with porch had a great view and was as pictured on the website, restaurants were excellent, as was nightly restaurant entertainment. Huge resort with a long coastline and great views throughout, good resort amenities and facilities, including watersports and island charters available from the beachfront. Friendly, helpful, and efficient staff. In-room requests were responded to fairly promptly. Accommodated an earlier check-in, and had change/shower facilities at reception. Good in-room wi-fi. Close to Port Denarau for cruises and tours, and shopping/dining.

Room and porch furniture and upholstery had some visible wear and tear/stains. Some power outlets and the bathroom fan in the room weren't working, so we had to boil water for our tea with the kettle on the floor and after a shower it was better to ventilate the room by opening the porch sliding door for a few minutes, and have the ceiling fan on.

had a 1 bedroom garden view room. was very nice, clean and spacious. the staff were amazing. so attentive and really friendly. buffet breakfast was amazing with a huge selection of foods to choose from. Dining was good, Maravu was our favorite. incredible food. Wi-Fi was decent - able to stream movies and tv easily to devices.

rooms weren’t very sound proof. we were close to the lobby so there was lots of noise and some construction, even into the night. tvs were a bit old, so no apps for streaming services and couldn’t screen mirror from phone either.

Room had good facilities and was very spacious. Pool was great, and restaurants were nice. Bed was super comfy, air con worked well, nice views. Staff were lovely, always willing to help.

The bathroom was a little worse for wear, could maybe do with a freshen up. But that's not necessarily all rooms, we saw another that was newly renovated so perhaps just luck of draw. Covid departure testing process was a little clunky (register online, but that doesn't appear to work so you need to fill out the form again) and a little daunting in an enclosed room with no ventilation. Also portrayed as free when it wasn't. Also, surely the Hilton can provide free airport transfers? Not the case...

2 bedroom beachfront villa was a great size and well appointed. Some minor maintenance / upkeep issues due to age, but nothing that was ultimately problematic/impeded our stay. Pools were great, ocean is nice to swim in (the sand is obviously dark, but clean), Kids Club was fantastic and our 5 & 7yr old wanted to go almost daily without us forcing/asking.

Limited lunch/dinner options, produce quality not great (particularly proteins, fish aside)... but in villa could prepare our own food sourced from nearby supermarkets if we wanted. Breakfasts were good though. Also we when checked in, they tried putting us in 3 interconnecting hotel rooms not the 2 bedroom villa we booked, which was a disappointing way to arrive but ultimately rectified.

"Breakfast" if included at Nuku $50 FJD - everything is free - juices, water etc. Can order Omlet and it will be delivered to your table. Pancakes, Ham and Bacon are there as well as all sorts of eggs, from scrabbled to poach etc. Fruits - local fruits, yogurt, recommended mango yogurt as a go-to with my fruits. "Dinner" Our family only had one dinner at the Nuku - Thursday night $89 FJD per person as it was a BBQ buffet. I loved the dessert - banana caramel etc. Only had one plate of meat etc

Costs sometimes, don't know how much things are until you're presented with the invoice! The cost of meals or items needs to be clarified. I lost all my bond - I did not clarify if breakfast was included or not, so it bit me in the butt when I was checking out and pretty much lost my bond and had to pay extra. For my relatives that paid via the official website, they would get a daily email of costs.

Beautiful and clean. Great adults only spot for breakfast/lunch/dinner, and a swim during the day at the adult only pool. Location was great as easy to get around and to and from the port. Our room was amazing and spacious. Staff were so friendly and welcoming.

It’s quite a long walk if you’re staying at the very end of the resort like we were. There was however a Bula express bus that takes you up and down to save some walking, however these came at random times, so you had to hope one was coming when you wanted to leave for an activity/ get back to your room. One of our dinners we had at Nuku Restaurant which is at the property. They didn’t write down our order, which resulted in a wrong drink being served, of which was alcoholic and was a big shock as I am pregnant and cannot have alcohol. Disappointing as I pointed to what I wanted on the menu and the waitress had the chance to write our order down, but decided to memorise it- not impressive if this is what they’re going for.

Great friendly helpful staff. The deli was great. The Bula bus to the marina was very convenient. Allowed a late check out for free, THANKS!

Very over priced drinks and food, even more than other Hiltons in Fiji. The gym had a strong smell to it ? Asked for outdoor cushions for chairs twice but never received them? Our room had a optional suite for connecting which ew did not use and the balcony only had a canvas divider than limited our private space as the wind blew it out so each side could see into the other sides, and conversation was not private.

The best thing about this hotel was the exceptional staff, every single one of them were helpful, friendly, kind & really welcoming. We were travelling with a 10 month old & it felt like the perfect place to bring a baby & nothing felt like an inconvenience despite how much extra effort sometimes babies can be! The pools were large & never felt overcrowded as were the restaurants. We went half board which suited us travelling with a baby & also made use of the really well priced baby sitting service to enjoy a child free dinner.

As mentioned in other reviews the rooms are looking a bit tired & we also found them quite loud (however this was morning during the day & earlier evening). The resort is very large & our room was further away from the pool etc so we asked to move which the hotel were happy to assist us with. Any minor issues were resolved promptly.

Our room was comfortable, clean and reasonably well equipped. The Koro adult section was excellent with a wonderful pool area and lounges.

Our room was unfortunately located right next to one of the restaurants. With the doors closed we couldn't hear people talking so sleeping was possible. We were only provided with one deck chair, we requested another, but we were never given one even after five nights. The gym was extremely small and was usually full (max of 8 people). We had poor experiences at all three restaurants and preferred to walk and eat at the local Marina.

Bula!!! The staff at the hilton are so friendly, kind, and helpful. We were given necklaces when we arrived. Our room was fabulous and spacious, the beds were comfy as. The shower was so big. Housekeeping always stocked up on towels etc, anything that we needed, and always made the beds daily. Our outdoor area was nice just to relax. The swimming pools were so good, as there were plenty to choose from. The breakfast buffet was always delicious with different variety of food. Staff were awesome! Always smiling! The staff that drove the bula bus express were so nice and funny especially John! I really love the hilton and the team! Vinaka Highly recommended resort. Will definitely be back again.
